“Well this is shaping out to be a good counter team against Orchis. I do not know how we can get our missing people back but we can
gather information and counter attack Ahab’s fraction of Orchis! We need some old fashioned pay back!” Old Man Logan spoke up from
the tree he was sitting under to keep out of the rain.
"Wish we had more among us but we will get them all back."

Logan caught the scent of Cair on the wind. The problem that he was facing was the shifting wind
and rain as he moved through the thickness of the vines. (SNIKT!!) He popped his claws and began
to slash his way through the brush until he saw her on the ground unconscious. He quickly dropped
to his knees and scooped her up into his arms..
“Wake up Darlin!” He said as her eyes began to open. “You're safe, I have you..” He said as he helped
Cair sit up. “X-Man tried to take us into a pocket universe with him but Saber stopped him from taking
all of us.. I think Seth.. Gabby and Laura were taken.. Nate will not harm them but they are trapped in
a universe of his creation.” Logan explained as he felt Jean’s thoughts before they were transported away..
He knew that Cyclops and a few others heard her as well.. Cair looked at Logan and buried her face in his neck. "I know Nate would not hurt our people, but he is too prone to this sort of anguished outburst," she whispered as she held onto her husband. "Maybe he needs a bit of help? I'm clueless. I just want everyone to come back."
As Logan helped Cair stand up, her cell started to vibrate in her pocket. "Now is not the time," she muttered as she pulled it out and stared at the message from her brother Jack. "Glynis and Maggie are missing. I guess Nate swept them up in this mess, too."
The talk of Orchis making a visit to their current location made Cair feel very uneasy. "I know it might be better to stay to be able to find Nate's pocket dimension, but leaving seems to be the only option now."

"That was a doozy!" Dante yelled as he crawled back up to his feet out of the vines. Thanks to his techno-organic arm, he was able to shield himself from a lot of damage from the explosion, shockwave, and the vines, but he still managed to dislocate his knee, and quickly took a moment to pop it back into place with a groan before he started to fish Sydney out from the mess. "I can safely say, out of the all of the stuff I'd seen out in the multiverse, Hippie Cable trying to warp reality to steal all of the mutants was not one of them. You're not secretly a mutant, are you Syd?"Dante paused for a second and noticed some silence. "That's normally when D would make some smart ass remark." Dante waited for D to say something, but nothing came. "D! Daiyei!? Where are you at?""He's gone Dante," Marcela exclaimed as she slowly made her way over. She was beaten up, but alive and was busy shifting her psionic energy into her healing in order to recover. "He got swept up with all of the others.""How? X-Man said he was taking the mutants! D isn't a mutant!" Althena stared at Dante for a couple of seconds. "You telling me mt best friend of several centuries has been a mutant this entire time and I didn't know?""Yeah, pretty much," Marcela quickly replied. "My best friend kept a secret from me, that's good to know. That stings more than you not telling anyone you're a Celestial." Marcela paused and looked shocked. "Took a trip through the multiverse, dinner at the bottom of the ocean, a fight against a bunch of shadows, and Sydney being possessed by a goddess to figure that one out, and D not telling me he's a mutant still hurts more." "I have never considered myself a mutant, so that's why I never say I am," Sydney said as she looked up at Dante and then turned to glare at Kari. "And Witchbreed is so damned old school that I'd never use it. We sometimes call ourselves the Children of Nicnevin, a Scottish fairy queen from a very long time ago. I just consider myself me. A witch. An immortal. All the things I have said to you since we met, Dante, in this world or any other. I'm sorry D never said anything."
Sydney looked at Marcela and then back to Piper. "Piper, we will get you to Shona and Brodie. No one said where Ein is, but if he is there, I'm betting he is trying to find Rose. That's why Carrie C has the kiddos. And Marcela, is it possible D has no idea what he is beyond being, well, brooding and mysterious? And a flerken owner? I'm grasping at straws, I know, but I'd hate to think he kept it to himself on purpose."

One more figure seemed to appear from the vines but out of all the familiar faces this one was only recently discovered. Midnight didn't really know what to think of everything. Her head was buzzing and she looked around for her family but the only one she could see was her sister Rainmaker. She then felt a mental nudge from Firechild.
("It's OK sweetheart I know this is all very confusing for you. While your mother and father are not here your sister and I along with the others will help you get your bairings but time is short.....") The voice said before Midnight turned to see Firechild give her a small wave. ("I'm your aunt Elda....I know we will be able to talk more when things are back to normal but for now just come over to us.") She said waving her over to where the various x family was.
"Do we have another fight ahead?" She said simply.

The last thing Fantomex remembered was fighting side by side with JJ. A bright flash of light and energy filled the area. The energy was
more like a vibration that picked them both up in the air and then he fell to the ground and lost consciousness. For how long he did not
know as he got back up to his feet with both guns in his hand. All three of his brains process the information from all around. From what
he could hear and see from Wolverine and Gambit looking for their wives, the missing temple and town. Fantomex quickly pieced together
that X-Man created a pocket universe and tried to take all the mutants with him. In the distance he saw Saber standing in a crop circle of
his own making with glowing sigils burned into the ground. He looked defeated and broken that he could not stop the whole process. Fantomex
opened up the side of his jacket so EVA could fly out of his inside pocket growing from the size of a marble to the size of a volleyball.
“I need you to help me find JJ! I am not sure if she crossed over to the other world!” Fantomex said to EVA as she hovered above him.{If she is here I will find her!} EVA responded as she slowly flew around the field scanning for JJ. JJ was flat on her back, tangled in a bunch of vines as she heard everyone around her trying to get their acts and heads together. "Babe? Babe? Fantomex?" she started calling out as she tried to get to her feet, but she found she had phased into the vines. "Oh, isn't this just crazy?" she said as she pulled the vines out of her arms and legs. "I am lucky they only phased through my extremities. This sucks. I wonder how Kate is handling all this?"
As she got the final vine out of her left leg, JJ looked up to see EVA overhead. "Oh my God! You two are a sight for sore eyes!" she shouted as she waved to get EVA's attention. "I'm OK. Just super confused and sick of these vines at the moment."

Rhiannon had been near the main portion of the Scooby Gang before Nate Grey set off whatever he did to wipe out much of the X-Men group. Was wipe out the right word? Make disappear? Teleport them elsewhere? Rhiannon had no damned clue, but she finally got enough sense in her to run to family as she came up behind Captain Carter, Rose, Dorcha and Desdemona. "I wonder how we got lucky enough to avoid being on Nate Grey's select list? Did he leave all the mystics here that do not use the term mutant? Captain, you may one day consider yourself quite lucky for missing out on that lottery."
As she stood there, Rhiannon noticed that all the dragons were seemingly asleep in the field where the Hounds had been fighting. She reached out telepathically to confirm they were not harmed. "The mounts are fine. They may prove useful later. Now to see what became of...wait. Hayley's gone? There goes that theory. She did not shy from the use of mutant terminology. Where ever she is, I just wish Alucard were with her."
"We don't know if he is or isn't," Desdemona huffed as she glared at Rhiannon. "Nate Grey's plan could have swept up half the world for all we know."
"There are some of those that carry the X Gene still among us and some that are not. "She said pointing at Rainmaker as well as some of the others.
"It appears as though Sabers spell put somewhat of a partial stop to Nate's plan.....The question is who made it and who was taken? I can't feel my sister Bennu nor her husband."
She then closed her eyes. She was able to sense energy even on a genetic level and it was then she quietly mentally spoke to Rhiannon in regards to what Captain Carter said ("She doesn't know.....") She said revealing to Rhiannon that the Captains genetic structure had changed. ("When we figure this all out it might be wise for Kari to talk to her.....Rhiannon did not speak a word, but she wished she had been swept away and not left standing there hearing secrets that were likely none of her business.
{{That would be my cousin's call, and I shall defer to her on that}} Rhiannon replied to Elda as she tried to look at neither the Asgardian Phoenix holder nor the displaced super soldier as she stood holding her shield. Rhiannon had enough of a mess to deal with now that Hayley was gone. Then it dawned on her who else was possibly missing.
{{Malachi, if you have been swept up, too, then that will leave me and Roslea to take care of the mounts until you get back. That will thrill her no end!}}
Rhiannon looked at Roslea and then toward the dragons as they slept. "If we are leaving, I have three dragons at the ready, although it seems our dragon master might be missing," she said as she walked toward the command group. "But I suggest we get going soon."
As she looked at Kari, Rhiannon thought better of mentally blurting out what Elda had said. Getting to safety first seemed the greater priority.

“Roslea!” Karma shouted as she ran into her arms and gave her a big kiss..
“I was so worried you got snatched like Sam, Roberto and Jimmy!” Xi’an said as she saw the light
swallow them into X-Man’s world.. Karma was a bit freaked out and doing her best to stay in control
of herself.. "And Jordan," Roslea said as she held Xi'an tightly to her side. "I can't sense her anywhere. I am just glad we were able to avoid getting caught up in this sweeping nightmare of Nate Grey's making. We will get the others back."
As she looked around, Roslea looked at Cair and Logan as they seemed to try to figure out how many of their clan were missing. "Cair, you said your sisters are missing?"
"Yeah, they got the mutant genes, like my brother Jack, but he managed to miss out on what happened," Cair replied as she stayed very close to her husband. "Maggie technically might be more magical than the rest of us. Dates back to the Kinsellas you knew way, way back when Ireland was a lot less full of buses, football fields and pubs."
Roslea nodded as she turned back to Xi'an. "Then we will add her siblings to our list of the temporarily displaced. I wish Henry were here. He might have been able to help us..." As she stopped speaking, Roslea looked like she had suddenly figured out a piece of a long-troubling puzzle. "Does anyone know if Nate Grey was familiar with old mutant history? Not back as far as Omnia spoke of, perhaps, but from the more mystic side of things? Perhaps he had a witch or wizard help him with this pocket dimension business? Or are there mutants who can create them without magic?"

it and motioned with his other hand to step onto EVA who was hovering in front of them. EVA had changed her shape and size to be a hovering disk
for them both. Once she stepped onto EVA he did the same.
“X-Man or Nate Grey had tried to take all of the mutants into a pocket dimension that he created and Saber did a spell to stop him from taking all of us.
We are what is left from what I understand.” Fantomex explained as EVA brought them over to Cyclops and all the others. Fantomex was a bit confused
when Cyclops was talking to Emma Frost. With his mask on he could not see or hear Emma’s astral body.
“I assume Cyclops is talking to an astral broadcast of someone?” He asked JJ. |

“Well this is quite the development!” Deadpool responded to Copycat.. Domino and Shogun as he
surveyed the area around him. Seeing that everyone was making their way to where Cyclops was
positioned. It was at that moment Wade saw Kid Cable for the first time.
“Holy crap on a stick!. That is what Cable looked like as a teen? Part of me wants to smack him
around for killing the old man.. But he is the old man.. Or he will be the old man.. All of this makes
my head hurt. Or should I smack him around and then after introducing myself as his best friend
possibly maybe? This is a very strange day and I just want it to stop!”
“I would keep it chill on the teen Cable thing. Although it is creepy as hell to see the old man as a teenager. He almost looks the same except
for the hippie beads. It must connect to that future religion spiritual stuff he is a part of. All of this is just wild!”

Domino and Karenza were one of the few people that knew the stories of Cable’s childhood besides his parents and maybe his daughter Hope.
Domino knew a few years after Cyclops and Jean returned to their timeline/dimension that he spent a few years traveling through time and other
dimensions before returning to the Askani future timeline. She never thought this was a part of his travels and the more she pondered the idea the

“I will lead the way!” Yuna called out to Domino, Deadpool and Copycat as she pulled her sword from its sheath. She lit up the blade
of her sword with energy and cut a path straight forward until they made it through to where Cyclops and all the others were gathered.
Once she saw Cyclops she did a small bow as she respected the leadership of the X-Men.

“He is breathing and he has a strong pulse. He still needs a healer or a doctor after what he has gone through, Alex!” Guido responded as they started
to head in the direction of where they could see Cyclops and the others were regrouping at.
“I saw Monet disappear and grab Jamie as he was falling but I have no idea what had happened to Theresa as she was flying in our direction. So we should
keep an eye out just in case she is in one of these piles of vines!”
an eye out for Siryn but did not see her anywhere. It took some time but they made it to Cyclops and the others. “Do we have any healers?!
Jamie needs medical assistance!” Havok called out.
“None of our witches have made it here yet!” Gabriel responded to Havok as he walked over to them and looked Madrox over. “He does
not look critical and Saber and Karenza should be here soon!” |

“Santo, Hisako, Victor and all the others were taken by the light!” Quentin responded to Ray as he came out of a pile of vines. “I also lost Everly.” He said
as he took a long deep breath to push back the pain of losing her. He knew that she was not dead and that she was trapped in a pocket dimension. Not
knowing what she was going through in that world bothered him. “This is the worst honeymoon ever! Everly and I were going to hang out naked on a beach
on Krakoa. We were going to grow one of those tree-houses!” He ranted. Ray said to Quentin as he helped him out of the vines. The news about Rockslide and the others was disappointing and he was clearly angry over the fact that his friends had been taken by X-Man, but there was nothing he could do under his own power. "Looks like Julia and Darkwing are gone too, damn." Ray couldn't see Dominique at first either, but he could see his mom pull her out of the debris off in the distance. "None of that matters if we die matters though, so let's get going. They're talking really loudly about ORCHIS showing up soon." |
