“Scott, you really think we can take this carrier for ourselves?” Havok asked Cyclops as he wondered how they could do that. At the same time he was
very aware how much damage they inflicted on the carrier and by how much explosion they could hear from their position he was sure the other X-Men
were doing well. At least it felt like that to Alex.

Alexander and his sister Natalie were fighting side by side trying to get to Cable and the others..
A light of energy came out of his chest a lot like his uncle Havok before he did his blasts.. The
light helped both of them to see through the darkness as they moved..
Major X had his adamantium katana sword out.. His guns had no effect in this shadow realm so
his sword was needed.. He slashed away at the shadow spiders that leaped out at them.. His sword
caused serious damage against the creatures but not as good as a mystic blade..
“How are you doing Natalie?” Alexander kept tabs on his sister as he plunged his sword through the
head of a spider.. " I'm doing about as well as can be expected brother. Nothing would please me more than to rip the Shadow Kings head off his shoulders."
She said as red colored lightning shot from her hands exploding some of the shadow spiders. As she was a creature of darkness her weather manipulation powers carried over to the shadow realm they were just not as strong. |

"Thanks," Ray said to Omnia after she healed him. He always had a habit of avoiding healers and instead just relied on his healing factor most of the time. That always ended up with someone like Elixir or one of the other magic users coming along to heal him at the last minute, but he had to admit that being healed early felt nice. When she handed over the sword, he didn't hesitate to take it and quickly pulled it from its sheathe. It was much lighter than his Katana's and looked similar enough that it wouldn't take long for him to get used to it, but he didn't know if that was because that's how it always was or if the magic in it adapted to what he was used to. "I appreciate it."
Raiden attached the sword and sheath across his waist and lower back. He didn't plan on giving it a name yet. He didn't know much about Omnia past what he learned recently about her connection to Apocalypse at the wedding, but he wasn't sure if trusted that completely. Afterward, he grabbed the bag tossed to him by Cybernary before fishing out one of Deadpool's knives to complement the new sword, and an explosive device. He could make stuff explode with his own powers, but having an extra bomb wouldn't hurt. "Don't need much else here, thanks," He said to Cass before tossing the bag back. In the process, he noticed that Armor's red glow was nowhere in sight. "Where's Hisako?"

“I guess this is what we get for a few days of fun!” Rogue yelled out to anyone who could hear her as she gave a good upper hook punch to a
Hulked out soldier. She followed up with a side punch sending the creature to stumble back.
“I needed those few days because now this girl is feeling refreshed and ready for a mess like this!” Rogue flew up and kicked the hulk in the face
as hard as she could.

“How in the bloody hell have hulks enter this fray!” Betsy said as she dodged a punch and then plunged her psionic sword into the hulk's head. She
knew that even with her shield a direct punch would knock her for a loop. She had to be on top of everything around her as one moment she was
fighting a hulked out soldier and then a sentinel just to find a shadow spider creeping up behind her. Betsy was happy that her brother was watching
her back. All of this and she was worried about Saber stuck in the shadow sphere that used to be the dragon.

“Nova put me into her mental control and I helped create these sentinels!” Forge confessed as he took cover behind a beam and began to fire
upon the soldiers and sentinels.
“I made sure a high sonic blast to the back of the sentinels neck as a hidden weakness that Ahab’s scientist would miss!” Forge explained as he
wished that he had some sort of sonic weapon he could use. Or material to make one. Back on the Hover Carrier “Sonic blast you say?!” Dana said as she sent her sword into the head of a man sized sentinel and gave it a massive kick leaving her sword in its head.
She then flung her shield with full strength into the Orchis soldiers, freeing up her hands.
“Okay Juggernaut let’s do this!” Suprema slammed her open hands together in a massive clap with all her strength. Dana’s hands were metal like Colossus’s
which caused an even more of a ringing sonic blast at a sentinel causing it to explode.
What Suprema did not expect was how powerful the sonic blast would be. A few more sentinels also exploded as well some of the structure of the carrier. |

“Cover your ears!” Jean shouted as she covered her ears. The sonic blast hit her and the other X-Men in the storage area of the ship.
Jean used her telekinesis to shield all of them when she hit the wall. The X-Men were not the only ones that were hurt by the blast.
The Orchis soldiers were screaming out in pain as they covered their ears and went flying into the walls too.
Even though Jean was able to cover her ears in time they were ringing. She could not hear a thing and then she had to act again by using
her mental powers from keeping the ceiling from caving in.

“Now that we have our place and everything is settled on the island. Gallion and I are going to Muir to join the fight. Thank you Paige for watching
my little man.” Jubilee kissed Shogo on the forehead and took Revolver’s hand and headed towards Pixie.
“Okay Pix we are ready!” Jubilee called out as Pixie opened a portal and they both jumped through.
Jubilee and Revolver leaped out of Pixie’s portal and landed beside Ray and looked all around at the chaos. “Hay Ray, what’s cooking?!” Jubilee said as
she sent out a dozen firecrackers at full power causing a massive explosion at the Sentinels and Orchis soldiers. Surprisingly the fireworks and the multi
colored lights scared the shadow spiders making them retreat from the area they were in. |

"At least they haven't killed me yet," Cailleach muttered as she pulled a double-sided battle axe out of the ground beneath her feet and snarled as she beheaded two more spiders. "Now where is her...of course."
Hayley was on her knees in the distance, and Cailleach kept lopping the heads off spiders to get to her. "Little River! Get to your feet! Before these damned spiders take us all down!" The use of the term "river" should have been enough to get Hayley moving, but she stayed still. Danu, the name of Hayley's patron goddess, meant "river" after all. "You want to see that sappy lover of yours, don't you? Why I have no clue, but to each their own."
"Shut up."
Cailleach turned to look around her, but no one near her seemed to be speaking. Hayley certainly wasn't, and Sydney MacLeod was otherwise occupied.
"You heard me, Danu. Get to your feet, or you will waste away in this black hole of insanity. This is no way for a goddess to die. Alone. Unloved."
"I said shut up!"
If Cailleach had not used her battle axe as a barrier, the staff that flew through the air would have leveled her. It bounced off and landed at Hayley's feet.
"Enough with the psychodrama. Get to your bloody feet! Your sister said I had to get you back in the game. She did not say I needed to be nice about it," Cailleach said as she tried to yank Hayley to her feet, but the avatar of Danu blocked the grab.
"Keep your hands to yourself, Cailleach," Hayley said as she started to get back to her feet. "And if you ever mention Adrian again, you will suffer. That is a promise."
"Blah, blah. Wonderful. I can leave now," Cailleach muttered before turning to see more of the spiders approaching them. "Farouk, you bastard! Enough of this nonsense!"

Brian watched Betsy's back while she waited on Saber's return from this nightmare. Meggan seemed to be holding her own thanks to the very magic of the land around them, but even Brian knew this mess was going to keep going as long as this collection of creatures--biological, mechanical and from the astral plane--kept materializing around them. He started to speak to his sister, but they were quickly protected by a blast of fire from the dragon hovering above them.
"Dear sister, we may be able to catch our breaths for the briefest of moments," Brian said as he pointed to Merlin on his fire-breathing mount. "If he is back, then I am guessing the team got safely to the Hellicarrier."
"By the grace of all that is holy, your friends are at their task!" Merlin shouted as he hovered overhead. "Your commander Cyclops sent me here to assist."
"I am glad Scott is back with us," Brian said to Betsy as he looked up to see Merlin bank his dragon to light up more of the Sentinels. "As for the old man here, I have a lot of questions for him. Like who did he bring to the fight? I saw no one on his dragon when it flew off."

"I can't see Hisako's exo-skeleton," Curran said as he looked over at Ray and then back to Cass. "She tried to get to Naomi, but I lost her once these Hulk guys showed up."
Curran was pissed that his TK was being fluky, and he must have gotten so self-absorbed that he wasn't paying as much attention to his teammates as he should have. {{Focus}} he said to himself as he tried to find where Hisako might have been on the battlefield. {{Hisako where are you?}} Curran thought as he kept pushing himself to find her psionically. {{Cass, I might need a boost}} he said in his link to his sister before he started to focus on an area where he thought he last saw Armor fighting.
"Ray, we should check those rocks back there," Curran said before he dodged another one of the human Sentinels. "Once we get rid of these losers," he growled as he used his pulse rifle to take out the Sentinel. "I vote to shut this damned place down forever when this is over. Nobody needs to come to Muir ever again!"

Sydney tried to keep John's chattering out of her head as she kept taking out Orchis troops with her borrowed sword, but then she felt Cailleach enter the battlefield. She started to see through Hayley's eyes, and that was a bad thing indeed.
"Shut up."
"Syd, luv, sorry if the banter got to you," John started to say to her as he turned in her direction, but then he stopped his attack on their enemies. "You ain't Syd, are you?"
"I said shut up!"
Both Sydney and John moved back in time to watch a battle staff fly into the black pitch where the Shadow King held court.
"You know who I am, Konstentyn," Sydney said in a low, much more accented Scottish bray.
"Danu? That's Hayley's trick."
"Common fool!" Sydney shouted as her borrowed blade sent forth another blast at some troopers. "Ye know not Brigantia?"
"Oh bullocks," Constantine muttered as he turned to look back toward D, Dante and the space cat. "Oy! For anyone who needs to know, Hayley and Sydney's spell got a new wrinkle. Syd is out to lunch at the moment. This is Brigantia, goddess of healing and victory!"

For a long time Kevin MacTaggart had been stuck inside of a containment box suspended.. When
his mutant powers began to emerge when he hit puberty he became an instant threat as his powers
made him an energy vampire of sorts.. He was an energy form that would need a host body just to
function in this physical reality.. The physical body could only last a few days before it would be consumed
by the energy state that was him.. Kevin’s mind was unstable and he killed many people just to survive..
It had brought him in battles with the X-Men which had brought him to be put into the containment box by
his mother Moira MacTaggart..
In the box he waited for many years for his mother to find a cure or any solution for him to be alive in the
world again.. The only contact he had with the outside world was when his half brother Jason the mutant also
known as Hollywood came to visit.. They would connect telepathically and talk and see the world from Jason’s
mind.. He learned about his mothers death and the promise that Beast would continue the research for him to be
free from the box.. Then time had passed and he heard nothing from his brother or the X-Men.. Kevin felt trapped
in oblivion until now..
A blast hit the box and the system opened up and Kevin was free.. He saw a soldier that was guarding the box and
knew something was wrong.. Proteus merged into the soldier killing him instantly.. The soldier's body transformed
into a physical energy form..
“What’s going on here!” He shouted out in confusion.. His voice sounded like a deep vibration that shot out into the
facility.. INSIDE THE MUIR ISLAND FACILITY.. “We are the X-Men and we are here to help you!” Hope said to Proteus as she reached out and grabbed his hand.. When she
did she absorbed him into herself and showed him in their shared mind everything that was happening.. At the same time
Hope saw everything Kevin had been through.. At that very moment a deep bond formed between them..
Hope began to send psionic blasts at the soldiers.. At the same time she tried again to connect to her parents and could not..
With Proteus’s help she pushed harder and felt Farouk’s shield blocking them.. Hope then saw something from the Shadow King..
Everything was about to get worse.. |

The facility was big enough for Rachel to fly up high and send a massive telekinetic wave down, wiping
out most of the soldiers inside of the facility while Namor and Ravager were engaged with the sentinels..
Rachel then flew over to Hope and connected to her and then accidentally connected to Farouk..
Suddenly Rachel was chained to a wall with a mutant inhibitor collar around her neck.. Her heart began to
beat faster when she recognized the chamber she was in from when she was a young girl.. The doors slammed
open and Ahab was in front of her.. He hurried over to her and grabbed her by the throat and leaned over and
whispered a word into her ear..
Back in the science station all of Rachel’s hound marks began to form on her face and she grabbed Hope by the
back of her head and then flung her as hard as she could into Namor and then blasted Ravager..
