Ray let out a sigh when Rogue appeared to give them some more breathing room against the Hulked out ORCHIS soldiers, and then Gambit appeared next to give them some help against the Sentinels. And it didn't take that long for other X-Men to start appearing as well. But as more X-Men appeared, Ray just kept getting angrier. He hadn't fought in awhile and he was holding back. His sister was also in danger, so that made him hold back even more, but none of that was helping anyone, and it definitely wasn't helping him get his sister back.
So instead of thanking the others for help, he started to scream. He was still hurt from being knocked back by a Hulked soldier, but he started running toward some ORCHIS soldiers, dodging Sentinel blasts and using his TK shield to protect himself from their gunfire as he jump kicked a soldier in the face, ducked under the punch of another and took him to the ground with an uppercut. The next soldier that came near, Ray quickly broke his arm as he disarmed him and spun with the rifle, opening fire on some soldiers in the distance before taking a page out of Gambit's playbook and charging the gun full of energy and throwing it at the nearest Sentinel before it exploded, taking a few to the ground.
One of the Huklked soldiers began to attack him again, prompting Ray to cartwheel out of the way to dodge, but he was tackled into the air by a Sentinel as he did. He let out another yell before he put one hand on the face of the Sentinel and unleashed an energy blast that vaporized half of it. As he fell back to the ground, Ray directed himself toward the Hulked out soldier and used his TK to steal a sword from Shatterstar. He then used his TK and energy powers to give himself enough force to stab the Hulked soldier through the head and take him to the ground, killing him instantly. He then took a deep breath as he got up from the ground and threw the sword back over to Shatterstar. "I need my gear. Someone magic me up some gear." Ray used another blast to rip the legs off of another Sentinel that flew toward him as he looked at Curran and Cybernary. I hope you two have magic like your mom.". He gave his old swords to Rockslide and Anole, so he'd have to get a new one from D. It was pretty clear Ray considered himself un-retired.

INSIDE OF THE SHADOW SPHERE
Everly slowly opened her eyes to see Quentin looking down on her with worry. Her response was a smile
to her husband just before kissing him on the lips. The crystal that Karenza had given to Quentin to heal
her had sped up her healing process.
“Thank you my husband and thank you Karenza! The crystal made me as good as new!” Everly said as she
got up off the ground and stood up and looked all around.
“We are inside of a pocket dimension. A dark dimension made from fear and loathing!”

Kwannon’s voice rang in Saber’s head like a beacon of light leading him out of the
shadow trap.. Before he broke out of that mental prison he felt something in himself..
He still felt the link to Karenza and Cable the same way he felt with Jean and Scott..
There was something more going on with him that Sinister was still keeping from all of
them.. It was something that Saber would have to confront Essex with in the future..
“Thank you Kwannon!” Saber responded as huge cosmic blue fire wings formed out of his back
like Angel.. He used the wings like a weapon against the shadow spiders.. The cosmic fire
worked just as well as the magick weapons..

away into the darkness that surrounded them.
“Now that all of us are together I think Faroak is scared or at least concerned about our sudden progress! And your
welcome Saber!" Psylocke communicated back. |

She landed next to Raiden and began to chant a healing spell upon him. The light that came from her
wings surrounded him and healed all his wounds. She then reached around and removed a sheathed
sword from her belt and handed it to Ray.
“This sword is my gift to you. The magick of this sword reacts differently for each person who wields it.
So you will not know what it can do until you give it a name and use it in battle. Only then will it reveal
its true power. As I pass this sword to you I release my connection to it and pass it on to Raiden.” Omnia
explained and transferred its power to Raiden.
“Once you give the sword a name it will always be connected to you and will return to you if you're separated
from it. It will become a part of you until you decide to separate from it and pass it on as I have to you.” |

Rictor stood on a hill of his own making, looking down on the battle and began creating long vines
from the ground grabbing a hold as many of the sentinels and Hulked soldiers that he could. He tried
to do the same with the shadow spiders but they were able to sense his actions and evade his attack.

Persha had started to get the upper hand on the Shadow Kings tricks to the point where she was feeling emotion off of his creation.
("Is that fear I sense Shadow King? King....What a laughable title coming from you. You are a jester nothing more.") She said as she heard his response .
("It's not wise to toy with me child...") He responded as a being of black myst appeared from the spider dragon with the Shadow kings face as a clawed hand clawed across her face. She turned her head letting out an inhuman screech as the wounds closed.
("Child? You dare to mock me jester. I can devour you a thousand times over yet you think you are my better?!") The talons of the goblin force grabbed onto the myst holding him by the throat.
("You toy with peoples lives...Its time for the so called toy to play with you.")

For a long time Kevin MacTaggart had been stuck inside of a containment box suspended.. When
his mutant powers began to emerge when he hit puberty he became an instant threat as his powers
made him an energy vampire of sorts.. He was an energy form that would need a host body just to
function in this physical reality.. The physical body could only last a few days before it would be consumed
by the energy state that was him.. Kevin’s mind was unstable and he killed many people just to survive..
It had brought him in battles with the X-Men which had brought him to be put into the containment box by
his mother Moira MacTaggart..
In the box he waited for many years for his mother to find a cure or any solution for him to be alive in the
world again.. The only contact he had with the outside world was when his half brother Jason the mutant also
known as Hollywood came to visit.. They would connect telepathically and talk and see the world from Jason’s
mind.. He learned about his mothers death and the promise that Beast would continue the research for him to be
free from the box.. Then time had passed and he heard nothing from his brother or the X-Men.. Kevin felt trapped
in oblivion until now..
A blast hit the box and the system opened up and Kevin was free.. He saw a soldier that was guarding the box and
knew something was wrong.. Proteus merged into the soldier killing him instantly.. The soldier's body transformed
into a physical energy form..
“What’s going on here!” He shouted out in confusion.. His voice sounded like a deep vibration that shot out into the
facility..
encounter with Proteus but growing up at the school he had heard the stories and watched a biography video that Kate Pryde did for a class project
that had become a part of the teaching curriculum when he was a student. He remembered how much it scared him to see what the X-Men went
through to stop him.

Back on the Hover Carrier
Vulcan moved to the front and kept up his stream of plasma fire at the soldiers and sentinels. The new troops that had come in were now pulling
back but the sentinels that fought Suprema, Juggernaut and Sarah were now reforming.
“I guess that I have to melt these things down into nothing!” Gabriel shouted as he focused his blast onto one of the sentinels until it was completely
obliviated into nothing. As Vulcan focused on this one sentinel it allowed another sentinel to blast him from the side causing Gabriel to fall to the ground
with a serious injury.

“Nova put me into her mental control and I helped create these sentinels!” Forge confessed as he took cover behind a beam and began to fire
upon the soldiers and sentinels.
“I made sure a high sonic blast to the back of the sentinels neck as a hidden weakness that Ahab’s scientist would miss!” Forge explained as he
wished that he had some sort of sonic weapon he could use. Or material to make one.

"Thank you for the assist, Omnia!" Cass shouted as she watched the faery hand her sword to Ray. "Raiden, my friend, you got the two non-magick kids, so I am thanking Heaven above Omnia was able to help you. Mom has stuff stored away that I am sure she would be happy to let you look over when this nightmare ends. But here, you can have some of the goodies in this bag."
Cybernary did a quick inventory of a ruck sack she had been carrying before she passed it to Ray. "Dad stuff in there as well as Mom stuff. Maybe a bomb or two from Deadpool. Be my guest. I'm good with my rifle and the stuff in my side pack for the moment."
Cass took a deep breath as she leveled her rifle and shot at another Hulked-out soldier. "I'm glad I had some armor piercing rounds on me! The other stuff would just bounce off."
As she blinked for a moment, Cass could have sworn she saw Giovanna once again in the middle of Shadow King's dark nightmare. {{Curran, did you see anyone back toward the rock formation to your left? Namely a little girl?}} she asked her brother in her link. He gave her a look that scared her a bit. "People! I think that bastard is trying to widen his damned nightmare zone! I'm starting to see people that aren't here. Stay sharp!" Cass yelled to everyone around her. {{Curran, if I get weird, punch me. Please. I am not going to lose anyone else because of that bastard's damned fantasy fetish}}

“I am going to have a bloody nightmare for days!” Pete shouted out as Dana and him stayed
on the hill fighting back the shadow spiders.. Wisdom covered the blade of the sword that Dana
gave him with flames as he fought the spiders.. The fire was more for his comfort than the damage
it did to the shadow spiders..
“My sword fighting skills are not as good as yours, Luv!” He spouted while Dana was moving the
sword around her like a pro.. He was struggling a bit but still holding his own.. "You are doing just fine, darling!" Dana shouted to Pete as she quickly placed a hand on his forearm, using their link to give him a bit more "centering" with his swordplay. "The only reason I am even any good at this anymore is because my brother Rory visited me in Wakanda when I was studying there! He kept taking me out for exercise when I was too involved in studying! Thank the Goddess he did!"
If Dana never saw another spider in her entire life, it would be a miracle indeed. And if she ever saw The Shadow King, she would gladly remove his head from his body if that was even possible.
"We will get out of this mess. We have survived worse. And I am not leaving again. I promise!" Dana said as she tried to reassure Pete that this was not a fool's errand. "I'm done wandering off like a mad fool!"

Shatterstar was surprised when his sword flew out of his left hand and flew over to Ray to use. He quickly adapted to the sudden loss of his second
sword by a spin of his body and how he spun his other sword around him he was able to defend himself. The blade slashed through a couple of sentinel
arms. Shatterstar did not know if he should be angry or flattered that Raiden had in his skills to recover. As soon as his second sword was gone it was back
in his hand and Star continued his attack without disruption. Shatterstar decided to take it as a complement to his skills and felt honored.

Hisako’s psionic exoskeleton collapsed as she fell to the ground. She pulled herself behind a boulder to hide from the sentinels and other Orchis forces.
The fight with Naomi took a lot out of her. She needed a moment to collect herself. She tried not to cry in frustration that she lost Naomi. Hisako was so
angry at herself that she failed to save her.
“How can I face Ray?” She thought to herself. She felt like she had let him and herself down.

as his telekinetic powers form a knight's armor around himself with a sword and shield. His shield had a huge omega symbol on it.

Scott informed his team..
he took a deep breath.
“It will be a while that I will be able to do something that big with my powers!” Ghost said as he unsheathed his katana.
