Wade was shocked and took a couple of steps back and shook his head.. Even Domino was
surprised and took a step back and joined him..
“How can you have an X-Force team without the old man?. If anyone can fill Nate’s shoes it
would be Conor.. And it makes sense for Cable to have him as his replacement.. Later when
he arrives I am going to talk to him..” Deadpool said to Domino as she silently nodded her
head as he spoke.. It was clear that she was also in shock about the news..
“Congrats Conor!” Wade spouted out as he held up his glass mug and took a swig before
launching himself in his next rant..
“Kid Omega is going to be a part of this team?.. The kid has a big mouth and talks all the
time and he can be a bit annoying.. I have no clue how Logan can stand the kid.. I honestly
can not see how he is going to fit in..”

“It will all work out as it always does..” Gambit said as he made his way over to his wife and took the
glass of Krakoan wine.. He gently swirled it around in his glass and took a sip..
“Mmmm.. This is good wine, it makes my body tingle a bit..” Gambit said as both his phone and Rogue’s
made a sound that they got a message.. They both pulled out their phones to see that Laura had sent them
a message with pictures of the town of Reservoir..
“Belle à mes yeux.. I think we found where we are moving to Chere..” Gambit said to Rogue as they both
began to flip through the pictures that Laura was sending them..
Laura had sent them from The Reservoir.
Rogue then looked away from her phone and turned her attention over to Hayley, Sydney and Piper. “Ladies, we would love you on the team. It would
be really good for all of us to be a team together.” Rogue said as she looked back over to Gambit to see him texting Laura back.
the wine bottle and topped both of their glasses before walking out the door.. Saber and the rest
of Excalibur followed behind..
“Now that is my vibe!” Gambit said when he stepped out of Saber’s house and could hear and feel
the full power of the drums and music that was flowing out of the city..

they left the house and walked behind Gambit and Rogue..
“New nation and the reformation of Excalibur.. What a wild time we are living..” He
said to his wife as he could feel the same overwhelming energy coming from her..

“I have been around magick a lot and I still do not understand it.. Saber tried to explain it to
me once and I could not understand a bloody word the block had to say.. The only thing I
understood was the manipulation of energy.. Honestly Luv you have to do what works for you
and I support that.. You are a badass warrior and a master spy..” Pete said to Dana as they
walked behind everyone towards the city..
“Tonight I want to celebrate Krakoa but I honestly do not know how I feel about it.. I will share
a space to wherever Excalibur makes a home base.. My main home will still be my flat in London..
I can move between the two..” Wisdom suddenly stopped walking and took Dana’s hand and gently
spun her around to face him almost like a dance..
“The one thing I do want to celebrate is that we are back together..” Pete then leaned over and
kissed Dana..

Cain was dancing with his wife close to the fire pit.. He was having a good time celebrating
Krakoa when he heard Jean contacting him in his head..
“Sarah!. Jean and the others need us!.. Follow me!” Cain ran for the closest gate he could
see and for it.. As he ran he transformed into his Juggernaut form just before going through
the gate..

“I am not planning on being on the X-Force team this time around.. I plan on being on the main
X-Men team.. I have much love for X-Force and the new direction and how important this team is
going to be.. I just feel like I need something different for myself..” Kwannon said as Yuna looked
sad hearing her answer..
“You are going to do great with X-Force.. I am excited for you.” Psylocke said in support of her friend..
Psylocke looked over and saw Psionica and the sudden look of surprise on her face..
“Claire you okay?” Kwannon said as she made her way over to her..
Claire shrugged when Kwannon walked over. "I don't know" she replied. The feeling in her gut was starting to get worse, but she didn't know what to make of it. Everything felt fuzzy, and she couldn't figure out what something felt wrong, just that it did. "You know that feeling that something isn't right, but you can't figure out what it is? It's that."Given what she, Jean, and Rachel sensed back in Atlantis, Psionica thought that it might be connected to that, but she really hoped that it wasn't. "Whatever it is, I'm not going to let it distract me from tonight. I just hope it's not a sign." |

sense. So congratulations Conor I have all the trust that you will be doing well in that position!” Domino said as she lifted up her drink in a toast.

“I plan to be a backup member of the main X-Men team for now. I will be there when the X-Men need me. I plan on getting to know this island and finish
my album and create a Krakoa music scene. We have a mutant nation and that means we are creating a culture for future generations. So I would like to
be the one to start the tone of what Krakoa music would be like. As I listen to the drumming and all the music that is being played right now I have ideas.”
An excited Dazzler explained.

“I was really hoping to be on a team with you Kwannon. Maybe someday in the future that can happen. I am looking forward to working with Domino and

Fantomex took a seat on one of the crates and padded the one next to him for JJ to take a seat next to him.
“Have you been to The Alps? I have a home hidden within the mountain range. It’s very secluded and quiet which I like. The snow and the mountains are so peaceful
that I spend hours just sitting on my porch with hot cocoa looking out at the landscape. That is my favorite place on this planet. So JJ what is your favorite place to be
on this planet?” Fantomex asked just as Archangel landed right in front of him next to Dazzler.
“It’s always good to see you alive and not evil. I had a better time fighting with you and not against you.” Fantomex responded to Archangel’s sudden appearance.
"The Alps? Wow, that is one place I have never been, and I never would have guessed that at all," JJ said as she sat down next to Fantomex. "That was the kind of place I'd see in picture books as a kid and figure I'd never make it there. It must be great to be somewhere that is so remote and quiet. One of those places you can connect with yourself or with the divine, if you are so inspired, I mean."
JJ looked up and nodded to Warren as he landed. "Hey, Warren," she said and then thought a bit about Fantomex's question. "If I could live anywhere, well, it's easy to tick off the places I'd avoid. Not a fan of Cali all that much except San Francisco. To actually narrow it down? Hmmm. If I couldn't get that house in the Garden District, there is a lot of beautiful property out on the bayous in Louisiana. Most of the houses need a lot of work, though. And I know, gators and big bugs. Not for the faint of heart. That's why I'd rather be in the Garden District."

kissed Dana.. Dana thought everything was moving much too fast at the moment. And no, that thought was not because of Pete. He was really the only thing that felt right about all this. Being back with him was like putting on a favorite piece of clothing or stepping inside an old bookstore that held your heart.
The whole "Krakoa/Excalibur/who is on the team" part sort of mystified her a bit. Hell, the Hayley/Sydney nonsense made her want to pound her head in the wall, and she could not wait to see what Kari had to say about it all.
No. That wasn't true. She could wait until Doomsday to see Hayley and Kari discuss the use of a spell from the MacLeod Book of Shadows. Magic simply wasn't "one size fits all" most of the time, and whatever Sydney and Hayley had done had more or less upended their lives and likely Dante's and Adrian's as well.
But the mention of Pete's place in London put her mind at rest for a moment. "Thank heaven you still have your place," she said as she returned Pete's kiss. "I have a feeling that we will need a place to decamp when things get a bit hairy," she said quietly as she kept her face close to Pete's. "And I'll bet you a dinner at The Admiralty Piper doesn't just come along on this one. Not with two children in tow. Hell, we should just go there anyway. I've missed you and London."
Dana held Pete close as she looked over at Piper and shook her head. "I don't think Piper has fully grasped the invitation yet."

"Oh, that does look like home!" JJ said with a big smile as she looked at the images Fantomex was showing everyone. "Yes, we will need to go check that out for sure. You know, I don't think a day is going to go by here where we don't get some surprise because of the way this wonderful island responds to everyone and everything."
As she looked at Fantomex, a tiny nagging thought kept bugging JJ, but now was not the time to indulge the bad and the crazy that the world always tried to make her think about on a daily basis. Tonight was the night for everyone to party, and she was not going to be a wet blanket and ruin things for everyone.
"A toast, to this wonderful place and to even more magnificent friends and family. May we always have each other and our new home!" JJ said as she raised her glass. "And to finding my way back to the person I belong with," she added as she raised her glass again to Fantomex.

"And that brings us to you," Ein said to Rose as they stood close enough to hear everything going on with Sydney, Piper, and all of the Excalibur stuff, but far enough away that they weren't instantly sucked into that conversation. He was connected to magic, but it was never his main thing, so he wasn't really invested in the conversation about the future of Excalibur like some of the others were. "Where do you think you should end up?"Ein wasn't sure where he would go or where he should go, either. X-Force's task would be most suited to him and past experience, but that wasn't really something he wanted to do again. He'd spent all of his time even away from the X-Men chasing down Weapon Plus cells and anyone that wanted to copy and replace them, so maybe this time, he could do something different. Rose smiled at Ein and said a silent prayer that he was the one she ended up with in this whole crazy universe.
He had never once taken for granted that she would go with him on his journey to stop all those weapons program idiots. Ein always talked to her about that stuff, and she went with him on just about every mission. Once she couldn't because she had fallen and broken her ankle, but that was the only time they had not been in battle together.
"I must admit the thought of X-Force as a team to join was not on the top of my list," Rose admitted as she looked up at Ein. "And while I love my sisters, a permanent spot on Excalibur might not be the best choice. But, if you want to learn more about magic, Ein, it could be the perfect choice, even as part of a team rotation going forward. Saber would be a much better teacher than I ever could be because, well, even I need to be around others who practice the craft. I am not sure what the deal is with younger students or refugees needing help, but maybe those are options, too? We have a lot to think about and, I hope, more time than usual to actually put a plan into motion."
Rose was very happy that this island home might actually give Ein a bit of time to breath before the next maniac in an exo-suit showed up in their lives.
"You are great with kids, and I think you could be a big help to those needing a mentor. And I do not mean just for fight training. You have lived a rich and textured life so far, even if some parts are not always the most wonderful to think about. They made you who you are. I think you really could help the younger generation. And maybe I can, too, in my own weird way."
"But no more map dances!" Sydney shouted as she looked over at Rose. "Please."
"Still the Syd we love," Rose chuckled as she smiled at Ein.

Questions and conversations on where she was going to end up didn't matter to Julia. She'd been working as a spy for months now for Xavier and the other leaders, quietly helping gather intelligence and influencing the world in ways that will help Krakoa in the future, so there was no reason to see herself going anywhere but the new X-Force. But instead of thinking about all of that, she decided to enjoy herself, kicking off her shoes, grabbing some of the Krakoan drinks and enjoying herself like many of the others were as they gathered around the firepit. "If only David's big ass head was here to see this, he'd love it," she said, thinking about her brother and whatever mission he was on. She knew that he'd find out what they were building here soon enough, and would drop whatever it was that he was doing to make his way here.

into her Australian glass mug that she pulled from one of the crates. Domino then turned to see a familiar face that she had not seen in a while. "Julia! It's been
a while, would you like to join us?" Julia announced as she walked over to the X-Force reunion. Even though she did as much spy stuff as the lot of them, she'd never really been too tied into the X-Force gang, so she was excited to see what their lives on Krakoa would bring, not to mention being able to tell someone what it was she exactly was doing. It did get a bit lonely working for Xavier and the others. The leadership didn't completely fill her in, and she had to keep things a secret. Even if it was for a little bit, not having to lie to everyone was going to be relaxing. When the others gave their cheers to Conor, Julia joined in as well. "WE haven't interacted much, but congrats on the role," she said to Dragonfly with a smile. In a lot of ways, he reminded her of Snake. And if that held true, then she'd find it easy to work alongside him. |

Angelica stood beside her husband and felt pretty lost.. It had been a while since she was a part
of the X-Men in any shape at all.. Conor was always doing secret missions for the Professor..
Magneto or Cable.. Firestar tried to find her way back to the New Warriors a few times and that
always came to an end.. The team never felt as good as it did when they first came together.. She
tried to go back to college and forget being Firestar.. That did not last too long either as she found
herself joining another team called the Young Allies for a bit.. In the end she had rejoined The Avengers
not on the main team but as an Agent of the team.. She and a few others would go on missions that
the main team was too busy to take care of.. Sometimes it was alone or she would drag Iceman with
her.. Now she found herself back in the fold with her husband back from his secret missions..
“Conor will be back with X-Force as this is what he does best.. I respect X-Force but it’s not the type of
team that fits me.. I might join a team but I am going to take my time and see what my options are..
I am still keeping up with my work with The Avengers for the time being..” Angelica answered Yuna as
she saw both Northstar and Kyle.. She had become very close with them when she was on the X-Men
team with Jean-Paul..
“Kyle!.. Jean-Paul!” Angelica called out as she hurried over to both of them and gave them both a hug..
“It’s so good to see you both again.. I have missed you both so much!” Firestar then turned to Milo and
gave him a friendly smile and held out her hand.. “You must be Milo.. I am Angelica Jones also known as
Firestar..” She introduced herself.
You and Jean-Paul were on the same team right? Hopefully he wasn't to much of a hassle." Milo said with a little smirk.
