POWERS AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Due to her current state of being, Psionica's powers are split between her Full potential as the Blue Phoenix, and her current physical body.
Phoenix Force: Claire, since bonding and purifying the Anti-Phoenix, has become an embodiment of the cosmic entity, which she uses to fuel her psionic powers to impressive levels. Though weaker than the White Phoenix, Psionica is more than capable of matching her ability to manipulate matter and energy on a cosmic scale.
- Physical Avatar: In a manner similar to which the Phoenix Force created a body that resembled Jean Grey, Claire replicated the process own her own using pieces of her own hair. Using the spark of the life bringing cosmic fire, she created a new, duplicate body of herself and imbued it with the essence of her soul and a fragment of the Phoenix Force itself. The body is mentally and genetically identical to Claire, granting it the full potential of her mutant abilities which are also enhanced by the Phoenix fragment. Because it is simply a fragment, the body does not possess Claire's full power as the Blue Phoenix. The body is semi-autonomous, largely acting as Claire would, but it still psychically connected to her and can be influenced by the original body, existing more as an extension rather than a clone or individual.
- Telepathy: Claire has the ability to read minds of others and project thoughts. This also allows telepathic communication between two or more individuals over vast differences.
- Mind Link: Claire can develop a mental link with any person which remains as a connection to that individual, allowing her to easily communicate and track anyone she's linked to.
- Telepathic Camouflage: She can mask herself, and other peoples' presence from those around her. She can telepathically disguise herself, making her appearance to those around her quite different, either by changing the appearance of
her body and clothing.
- Mental Amnesia: Psionica can temporarily cause loss of particular memories, and amnesia in another person or even in a group of people.
- Mental Sedating: She can telepathically "sedate" her victims so that, if already rendered unconscious, they remain so for as long as she continues to "sedate" them.
- Psionic Shield: Claire can erect a psychic shield for protection of herself and others in her immediate area from telepathic intrusion and attacks.
- Neural Jumpstart: She can increase the speed of neural signals in the brain, temporarily allowing people to ignore their limitations to boost their physical and superhuman powers.

- Astral Projection: She has the ability to Astral Travel and communicate with others astrally through her own will, or through contact with the thoughts and memories of others.
- Telekinesis: Psionica is able to use her psionic energy to levitate various objects, moving and manipulating them in various was as she sees fit
- Telekinetic Levitation: Psionica is capable of applying force and manipulating people and objects, lifting them into the air and manipulating them as if they were using her hands.
- Flight: Psionica is able defy gravity to propel herself through the air with telekinetic force and fly. Since she rarely flies for long distances, her maximum speed is unknown.
- Force Fields: She can create protective force shields that could protect against a variety of attacks, including explosions and energy blasts. Claire can create a force fields which can be several millimeters thick to about thirty feet, which can be held up almost indefinitely depending on her well being. She can also create force-fields at any range in her line of sight, which would be significantly weaker than her standard force field. The upper limits of this ability remain unknown. She hasn't weaponized her force fields, but it wouldn't be impossible for her to do so.
- Concussive Blasts: Claire can generate telekinetic bursts to blow beings, objects, and energy attacks off course. This can also be used to crack and break objects to be thrown telekinetically.
- Matter Manipulation: By utilizing her psi energy boosted by her Phoenix fragment, Claire is able to manipulate matter, such as turning steel into a liquid or reshaping the appearance of structures. She cannot, however, turn glass into gold, for example.
- Telekinetic Levitation: Psionica is capable of applying force and manipulating people and objects, lifting them into the air and manipulating them as if they were using her hands.

- Resurrection: Under normal circumstances, those with high levels of attachment to the Phoenix Force, such as Psionica, would be reborn via a Phoenix Egg should they die. Should Claire's avatar body "die", rather than being reborn via an Egg, a new body would slowly reform out of genetic material and psionic energy.
- Power Tapping: Claire's current form is without the vast majority of her powers as the Blue Phoenix. Under certain situations, she could tap into her potential and draw out more of her Phoenix energy to pull off abilities more in line with a Phoenix user or boost her current power levels, but only in short bursts and with significant drawbacks. She may also be able to do similar when surrounded by other Phoenix users, but with significantly less efficiency.

Despite her powers, Claire's current body is similar to a human body and prone to human vulnerabilities. Attempting to draw more power from the Phoenix than what she currently has takes significant concentration and time, and willl lead to quick burnout. Attempting to draw from nearby Phoenix users cuts the power draw and time tables to use the power by nearly 50%.
Claire is unable to effectively use both her telepathy or telekinesis at the same time. Using one weakens the other.
HISTORY
Claire gave up her professional career when her first child, Ray, was born, and definitely gave up a lot more when she discovered he was not only a mutant like she was, but that his powers were significantly developed for his young age. Her powers were not the strongest, but she started to fear for the safety of her child when her telepathic powers began to pick up the thoughts and intents of her husband, whom she did not know worked for the secret paramilitary organization Weapon Plus at the time.
When Ray seemingly disappeared, a frightened and distraught Claire couldn't explain why she remained with her husband long enough to have another child in Naomi Madison, or remain with him long enough that he would have the ability to claim their bodies from a hospital after having a near-fatal car accident. Naomi would be taken and used for all manner of cybernetic experiments, but Claire was kept on life support. Being as close to death as she was, her consciousness was trapped in a limbo state on the Astral Plane, where her inner turmoil attracted the attention of the Anti-Phoenix -- the fragment of the Phoenix Force tainted by the evil mage Necrom -- and inevitably bonded to her.
The buildup of negative energy allowed her to recover after years in a stasis pod, but her consciousness was still trapped in a limbo state until it was freed by a demon named Hiryu Zuii when the X-Men battled the ancient mutant Azazel on Isla Des Demonas. She'd go on to partner with Hiryuu Zuii, Necrom, and an ancient telepath named Bison in battles against the X-Men and others. The entire time, Claire's essence was acting as a cosmic filter, removing the taint within the Anti-Phoenix and purifying it until it was purged of the evil magic, largely thanks to the help of her children and a handful of the prime Phoenix holders. Just as the Phoenix chose Jean Grey for its ultimate purpose, the Anti-Phoenix was drawn to Claire so it could be purified. She was then elevated to the status of Blue Phoenix, and went on to help the X-Men and her children while also performing the cosmic duties necessary as a Phoenix within the universe and the White Hot Room.
After some time, Claire would disappear from the X-Men. In reality, she was attacked and killed within this plane of existence by the Beyonders just prior to the collapse of the multiverse, but was elevated into the White Hot Room just enough that following the rebirth of the multiverse, she's able to remember fragments. Following the return of reality, instead of being placed with the X-Men in a state just prior to the cosmic machinations of the Beyonders, Claire instead wandered around the universe before using some sort of cosmic fission to split her consciousness across two bodies; her real body and a Phoenix avatar. Adopting the name Psionica, Claire's avatar has set out on returning to Earth while her true self would shift into higher planes of existence.
She saw glimpses of the future, and ensuring mutant survival is of significant importance to a task that requires her to be in two places at once.
