“Congratulations Peter and Enya for your engagement!” Exodus called out to Colossus and Enya as he waded through the crowd to get to the couple.
“Brother Colossus I am so happy for you and your lady.” Paris did a small bow of his head to Enya.
“I just wanted to say something after the good news. My only real relationship with the X-Men is through you and Magneto. The relationship with Erik is
very complicated and with you Peter is less so now that we are on the same side again. Our time on Avalon and the friendship we made was very important
to me. I am glad we have this opportunity again.”
“You have my friendship and this new beginning and a nation.. This is only the beginning for us my friend..
I remember our conversation on Avalon as we looked out upon the earth.. We had hoped for this and never
thought possible!.. And now look at all this!” Colossus said with great joy as he looked around and motioned
with his arm to the crowd of people within the city that was now their home..

“You mean our people.. You're also a mutant and that makes Krakoa your home too.. Mutants
and the Shi’ar have had a complicated relationship from allies to enemy.. A constant shifting
back and forth between the two.. Now with you being my daughter and Lilandra’s daughter
with the mutant gene.. Our people are more connected than ever.. I would like to have a
Krakoan gate and colony on Chandilar.. A few of my students already live there and have a
gate..” The Professor said to his daughter the Empress as they walked through the city towards
the bonfire with her Royal guard..

“Please forgive me Empress.. My husband Sam is one of the students the Professor was talking
about..” Isabel spoke up.. She was happy to call Sam her husband again.. Both Sam and her
found out that they had forgotten to fill out the right document for their divorce and were still
married.. Which was a mistake that they were both happy about as they wanted to patch up their
marriage with one another and felt it was a mistake to separate.. Not just for their son but for the
reason that they still loved one another..
“We do have a Krakoan gate in our home.. Chandilar and Krakoa are both my home, my Empress..”

“I see Nemesis and Finola!” Psylocke called out as she waved at them to come join them..
Doctor Nemesis was also a member of the X-Force team that Psylocke was with at the time..
“We all should find a spot for all of us near the firepit!.. Yuna and I will grab some stuff for
us.. If anyone want to tag along.. We are heading out now!"
we can talk later.” Yuna responded to Dragonfly and Firestar as she rushed off with Kwannon.
“I surprised myself. I just joined X-Force when Dragonfly asked. I did not even think about it, I just agreed.” Yuna said to Psylocke as they walked over to
some crates. Yuna pulled a knife that she had hidden on her. She used her mutant power the same power as the Silver Samurai, her uncle. The blade of her
knife started to glow as she cut through all the crates around her.
“The others are going to love this!” Psylocke said as she used her telekinesis to lift the crate and
a few others and carry it over to the others..
“We have chips and a few other things to snack on!” Psylocke declared as she returned with Yuna..

Wade stood looking at the empty glass with the kangaroo on it when Psylocke dropped the
crates down on the ground in front of him..
“Chips and drinks.. I wish Logan was here and not off with his family.. No way he is having
as much of a good time as we will have.. Maybe he will show up later..”

took a swig as Angelica also grabbed a beer..

that I can not get a read on him..” Jason said as he handed a beer to his wife Lu and one for
himself..
“I agree Logan will be here later tonight as the rest of his clan I bet.. I am looking forward to it..
I miss them.. And I have not met Gabby.. I am also looking forward to getting to know Daken
better.. He was kind of a dick the last time I was around him.. I miss Cair and Laura.. Does
anyone know where Nate and Kari went off too?”

Hayley wanted to scream, but she knew she'd only be drowned out by the partying masses, so she stayed to the side and watched as Sydney and Piper got into a snit about what Hayley and Sydney had done ages upon ages ago to try to find Dante and Adrian.
What was that old saying about bread? Half a loaf is better than no loaf at all?
At least Sydney had a chance at having her Happily Ever After moment with Dante. Hayley could see it now. Pink lemonade and red velvet cake all around. Smiling. Dancing.
Happiness. Yes. Happiness.
Adrian was off fighting vampires in Alabama of all places. In her heart, Hayley knew that was right where he needed to be, and she knew that unless expressly asked, it was not where she should be. She and Sydney had tried to go help D, Dante and Adrian once when Dracula's castle was on the move in the woods of heaven knows where in Europe. They were not exactly needed or wanted on that mission, and Hayley made sure never to jump in again where not wanted when that trio was involved.
Sydney would have let a train roll over her for Dante's sake. Hell, she nearly died healing the man once.
And Adrian saved Hayley and Kari on Muir Island, and then more than once if you count his battle with Cailleach in London to get that ruddy box in the first place.
"Before you all go off and make merry, I have no objection to being on any team, if I am truly wanted there, that is," Hayley said quietly. "I just know Kari is the one with the greater connection to Otherworld because of her past there. I will go where needed. And as for the mess Sydney and I created, it will only be undone when I actually set eyes on Adrian again. Even if it is only to have him say I was a fool and ask me to go away. Why we uttered those words when we cast that spell is beyond me. At least Sydney is in better shape than I am in that area."

"They were here a minute ago," Lu said to Jason as she took a sip of her beer. "Nate and Kari aren't with her family. I have no clue where they went."
Lu didn't like where this conversation was going, because if five got her ten, it would lead to some fight somewhere.
"Want me to see if anyone else has seen them, babe?" Lu said to Hollywood before she took another sip. "Maybe they're with your Dad? Nope, he's with your sister. Look over there," she said as she motioned toward where Charles was standing with Xandra.

"Oy! Let me backtrack," Dana said to Saber and Pete as she exhaled loudly before looking at Sydney and Hayley. "I said Merlin because he is the only big muckety-muck wizard I could think of that these two might listen to," she said as she pointed to her sister and her MacLeod counterpart. "They are both as stubborn as oxen. They really are. I have no idea where any Merlin is hanging about. I was holed up in Wakanda for nearly two years studying law."
"As if I would listen to that crusty old mage," Hayley muttered as Sydney walked closer to her, her hands looking like they were ready to strangle Creidne. "Well, you are not his biggest fan either, are you, Syd?"
"If I could undo what we did, I'd let Mickey Mouse in that movie Fantasia help! Or Elphaba from Wicked! I got it from Gramms book, Piper," Sydney said as Piper grunted and looked like she wanted to explode. "Uh oh..."
"If they did any spell from the MacLeod grimoire, then we may need to sit tight a bit," Piper said as she walked over to Saber. "Let me see what these two were trying to do, and we might be able to undo it together, Saber. As for Merlin, I'll see if anyone in our network knows where he might be hiding. Our grandparents had a lot of contacts. I got out of the loop once I moved to Portland."
As everyone else was talking, Dana grabbed Pete by the hand and shook her head. "Are you sure you really want to get involved in my life again? This is the sort of nonsense you have to look forward to. I'd be very tempted to do a runner from my own life. Trust me."

Dana took a deep breath before she looked over at Hayley and Sydney again. "It figures Hayley would put a spell lock on something. Not having the spell break until she sees Adrian again? That is just insane. Now you see why I don't use magic all that often, love. It has its place, but it can get too regulated, I guess. No use for personal gain. Nothing without an equivalent price in return. It can get maddening. If anyone were in danger, and it was my only shot at saving someone, I'd use it. I promise. But I'd rather rely on my wits and skills than I would my magical abilities. I'm glad you understand that. Most of my family thinks I'm crazy."

Lorna stood beside her father Magneto on a cliff looking down upon the city. The ground beneath her feet was vibrating from the sound of the drums.
They watched as the crowd surrounded the bonfire.
“Out of everything I have ever seen in my life I have never seen a city come to life. I also have never been a part of the birth of a nation before. Those
are some powerful firsts in one day.”
Polaris walked over to her father and put her arm around him and looked directly into his eyes.
“I am very proud of you. You and the Professor came together and did all of this as I had always had hoped. I thank you not just as your daughter but as
a mutant.”

“Sydney and Piper we would love for you to join the team and know that whatever your mistake is we have your back. Together we can
sort this out and be a strong team.” Rogue said as she walked over and saw that there were bottles of red and white wine on the table.
She picked a bottle up and looked it over.
“So Saber in your spell you ported Krakoan wine to your home. Now Surgah, that is a spell I can get behind. Anyone want to try a glass?”
Rogue said as she popped the quirk and began to pour the wine into glasses.
“We can not get too serious. We are celebrating our new island!”
glass of Krakoan wine.. He gently swirled it around in his glass and took a sip..
“Mmmm.. This is good wine, it makes my body tingle a bit..” Gambit said as both his phone and Rogue’s
made a sound that they got a message.. They both pulled out their phones to see that Laura had sent them
a message with pictures of the town of Reservoir..
“Belle à mes yeux.. I think we found where we are moving to Chere..” Gambit said to Rogue as they both
began to flip through the pictures that Laura was sending them..
Laura had sent them from The Reservoir.
Rogue then looked away from her phone and turned her attention over to Hayley, Sydney and Piper. “Ladies, we would love you on the team. It would
be really good for all of us to be a team together.” Rogue said as she looked back over to Gambit to see him texting Laura back.

With one hand Northstar was holding the pike with the marshmallow at the end of it on the fire. The other hand pulled his phone and began to
look at the message.
“My sister just sent some pictures of the town of Reservoir. It looks like New Orleans but more engaging!” Jean Paul said as Kyle pulled out his
phone and Northstar handed him over to Milo so he could see.
“She looks like she is having a good time!”
