Aurora took a moment and landed on the ground beside Cecilia and Psionica and blasted a group of the Zombie-Borg’s with a wide
photon blast, “You both okay?” Aurora called out to Cecilia and Psionica and then they heard Strong Guy scream as the lightning struck
the sentinel. Aurora was there in a second and used her light into a laser and cut him free from the sentinel. She grabbed his body and
tried not to puke from the smell of his cooked flesh. She flew him into the tunnel and landed next to Triage. “You got to help him!”

(AHAB'S BASE PRISON YARD)
(You three stand up now!) An Orchis guard yelled at Morph , Blink and Nocturne. Morph stood up and was worried as the guard pointed
her rifle at them. “Did we do something wrong?” Morph asked the guard. (Shut up! Head for those doors now!) The guard said as she
motioned with her rifle for them to move in that direction. Morph, Blink and Nocturne headed for the doors with the guard behind them.

Talia remained silent as they headed for the doors. She knew something was a miss when the female guard had what appeared to be
a bloody wound in the area of her heart and was trying to hide it with the back stock of the rifle. “Who are you? I do not think you are
a guard.” Talia said when they went through the doors to a storage center that was empty.

The guard pulled off her cone shaped helmet to see Deadpool’s mask with a long blond ponytail. “You are so right Nocturne! I am
Wanda Wilson AKA Lady Deadpool! I am here to rescue you! A long story short is that my world went down the dumps because of
asshats like these! When Ahab came to my world and captured mutants I snuck aboard his ship and ended up here in this world. I
have been here before and that is another long story. Anyway the X-Men are in some sort of fight on the island as we speak. I was
thinking we should join them and help. Blinky poo can you port us to them? Pretty please?”

Rainmaker raised her hands above her head as the winds started to pick up. She directed them towards the airborne zombies sending some of the closest ones into the ground. She then remembered what Storm told her.("Listen to the elements. Let them guide you.")The lightning also intensified one bolt struck a sentinel.

Cecilia leaped through the hole in the wall creating a force field around her with long spiked blades..
Reyes felt desperate to get to Psionica when she saw her go through the wall. Cecilia did not like being
in the field as an active member of the X-Men. She was more comfortable being a part of the medical
and science team. Ever since Cecilia became a mutant she was forced into danger and embraced combat
training. She spent a lot of time in the danger room pushing herself and powers to their limits. Cecilia was
able to cut one of the Zombie-Borgs in half and then roundhouse kicked another impaling it with the spikes,
“Claire! You doing okay!?” Before she knew it, some other zombie-borgs began to rush her. As Psionica shifted to go on the defense, Cecilia came out of nowhere and took out her attackers quickly, which gave Claire time to catch her breath. "Thanks," she said before she used her telekinesis to float back up to her feet. "Just a little shaken up, but okay. My force field took Most of it." When Aurora flew over, she gave her a thumbs up. Before she could think, she saw the flash of light from the Sentinel blast that hit Duskk and Magik teleporting away. There was some psychic backlash from it that came from her connection as the Blue Phoenix,but she couldn't worry about as Strong Guy got injured as well, taking Aurora away as she went to go help him just as the zombie-borgs picked back up with their attacks. |

“Thanks kid!” Old Man Logan responded to Kendra as she came down and helped and was injured and then used magic and healed
herself. She gave Daken and him time to slip out of the area and down an alleyway between two barely standing buildings, “We need
to get back to the tunnel and hold them off!” Logan said to Daken as they ran together. Old Man Logan still holding the rifle he took off
of a Zombie-Borg.

(THE ASTRAL PLANE) Jason felt his twin sister pop in for a moment and then pop out as his cosmic fire talons slashed deeply into the mechanical dragon in astral form.
Finally DireWolf hurt the creature as it spun around and whipped Jason with its tail almost causing him to tumble into the void again but this time
DireWolf was able to catch himself with his Phoenix wings. All of this astral battle was new to him. He saw Emma charge at the dragon and needed
to help her so one big flap of his wings he launched forward to join her.(The Astral Plane) The dragon's wing slammed into Emma very hard, sending her spinning down into the astral void.
She almost lost her connection to DireWolf and Midnight who was the anchor for her to be in here.
That is when Emma felt a familiar feeling come over her. A feeling that she never thought to feel
again. DireWolf’s Phoenix Force expanded its power to her and she embraced it. Instantly she was
before the cyber-dragon covered in cosmic flames and began to slash at the dragon with Phoenix-
like talons as DireWolf and Midnight joined her. |

Before Bradley could respond to Finola the side wall crumbled and a group of Zombie-Borg came
rushing in engaging in combat with Psionica. By the time Nemesis spun around and started to fire
on the Borge.. Psionica was pulled outside the tunnel, “Bloody Hell!” He spouted as he leaped through
the air and kicked a Zombie-Borg and sent it flying back into another Borg and out of the hole in the
wall.. Bradley had the appearance of an older man but he had enhanced his body on a genetic level..
Doctor Nemesis was stronger, faster and more agile than a normal human and he showed it as he fought.
Bradley was fully engaged with the Zombie-Borg that came through.. He used his guns as he physically
attacked the Borg.. Shooting one in the head with one hand and backhanded another with the other..
Nemesis even headbutted another causing him to lose his hat.. Which really pissed him off.. "It's always your hat!" Finola yelled as she ran up to James and shot at another Zombie-Borg trying to make its way inside the tunnel. "Always, always your hat!"
Many may have wondered how a time traveling muse and a man of science became a couple, but others chalked it up to their love of magnificent hats. Finola often wore a top hat with lavish feathers on it, so she understood her beloved's ire at losing his own chapeau.
"Do you want me to see if we can cook up a spell to part human flesh and mechanical wizardry? It may be the only way to stop these wretched things!" she added as she leveled her gun and took the head off another Zombie-Borg. "But they may be so entwined it may do nothing at all! Bollocks!" she shouted as she fired again at another attacker just outside the hole in the tunnel wall.
to Finola as he shot a Zombie-Borg in the face with one of his guns and another with his other gun at a
Zombie-Borg that tried to shoot her from across the tunnel. “I am glad that I upgraded my brain so I can
multitask and beware of many things at once!” Nemesis was like a machine shooting many Borg in the
head in the matter of seconds.. |

Both of them carried rifles that they had taken from the Zombie-Borg.. As they ran they fired at
the Zombie-Borg that was scattered about.. They found themselves at an impasse.. There were
too many Zombie-Borgs between them and the tunnel. “We take cover here and take them from
behind.” He said to Old Man Logan as they took cover on top of a building and aimed their rifles
down at the Zombies.. |

“Your timing could not be any better!” Akihiro called out to Kendra when she came down and went
into a barrel-roll into the Zombie-Borgs.. Both Daken and Old Man Logan sprung into action.. Akihiro
went into a roll and grabbed one of the rifles from the ground that a Borg dropped when Kendra slammed
into them. Daken came out of the roll positioned on the ground with one knee and began to open fire on
the Zombie-Borgs that surrounded them.. He was not the best shooter but created a moment of relief for
Kendra, The Old Man and him.. ((Babe, I'm OK)) Kendra thought as she saw the fire Jono was using in the tunnel area to keep the Zombie-Borgs out. ((Wish I had one of Pop's big ass guns right now))
"Daken, good shooting!" Kendra yelled as she hovered in mid-air before turning and taking the fight to some more of the flying creepshows headed their way. "If I can get you a better gun, I will!"
As she banked, an energy pulse nicked Kendra in the left wing and sent her spinning. "You son of a..." she muttered as she corrected herself as best she could before landing on a large rock pile. "I'm OK!" she shouted to Daken and Old Man Logan as she tried the other thing she and Karenza had been doing in training. "Rock Star's spell better work," she whispered as a small patch of fire seemed to dance around her injured wing and then flash out of sight. "Shite, that actually worked!" Kendra yelled as she lifted off the rock pile and took off toward more flying Zombie-Borgs.
((Babe, that spell from Ma's pal Johnny C actually worked! I can fly again at least. I'm helping Daken and Old Man Logan unless you need me picking off these things closer to the tunnel entrance)) she said in her link to Jono as she used her mace to take the fight out of another Zombie-Borg flyer.
have that special touch. I am fascinated by how our people easily take to magic when they practice it!)
Jono said to Kendra in their psychic link as he continued to push back against the Zombie-Borg army
with waves of plasma fire at the most extreme level which was starting to take a toll on him.. |

“I hope Duskk is going to be okay!” Xi’an said when Magik went to his rescue and disappeared
from their view.. “Oh my God!. Look!” Karma said as she pointed over at the building across from
them and saw both Daken and Old Man Logan in position to fire on the Zombie-Borg army that was
below them. (Hey you two it’s Dani and I at the building beside you!) She said as she jumped her
consciousness into Akihiro to communicate with him..

Dani smiled and waved at Daken and Old Man Logan when they looked over at them. “Tell them
we are in a perfect position to hit them from behind and draw attention and keep them fighting
on two fronts.” Dani said to Karma as the bow in her hand started to vibrate with mystical energy
ready for the battle ahead..

Since Claire was doing well, Cecilia leaped back through the wall and back into the tunnel to
see that a large group of Zombie-Borg things made it through. “Does this make me a combat
field medic!” Cecilia shouted out to Doctor Nemesis and Finola as she continued to use her force
field into massive blades. She slashed a few in half as she made her way over to Prodigy and the
others to protect them.
