 ((ASTRAL PLANE)) “Thank you Mara!” Emma called out to Midnight as she formed a crystal looking spear and threw
it at the robotic looking dragon. The side of the dragon exploded when the spear hit. “How is this
possible?!” Emma spouted out as she felt artificial intelligence taking the form of a dragon in the
astral plane which should be impossible. |

“This is a very fascinating evolution of wild sentinel technology infused into biology.. Not just
any biology but that of remnants of decayed cell structure.. How I would love to get my hands
on a sample to study later!” Bradley said to Finola before using Psionica’s attack as cover to get
to a better position at the end of the tunnel to fire upon the cyborg-zombies. Nemesis looked back
at Finola from his new position and gave her a wink as he pulled another gun from his coat pocket
before continuing his attack..

(I’m good Luv! Let me give you a helping hand!) Chamber responded to Kendra as he positioned
himself in a way where he was able to divide his blast of pure plasma fire up into the sky hitting
a few of the flying cyborg-zombies.. The other part of the blast rolled across the ground like a
flood of water at the few cyborg-zombies that were trying to make a break for the tunnel..

Akihiro rolled into a back flip to get back on his feet. Once he was on his feet he saw Old Man Logan’s
claws in the chest and throat of the zombie-Borg. Before Daken could react Old Man Logan was flying
right at him. The Borg tossed him like a rag doll and before Akihiro knew it he was back on the ground
with Old Man Logan on top of him. “That mother fucker is strong and fast!” Daken said as he pushed
Old Man Logan off of him and then both of them rolled to the sides as the Zombie-Borg fired its gun
hitting the area they were just at..

For a moment Karma thought Storm was back when she heard the lightning and saw the fog
roll in but she saw that it was Rainmaker.. The area in front of her was lit up with tracer gunfire
as Mirage came around the building corner on the hover-cycle blasting the gatling-gun.. That is
when Xi’an began to fire her rifle at the Zombie-Borg..

Dani could feel the Adrenaline pumping through her system as came around the building corner
and opened fired the gatling-gun on the Zombie-Borg taking them by surprise.. Mirage could hear
Karma open fire with her rifle.. It was a perfect crossfire until she saw one of the Zombie-Borg’s blast
two small missiles from it’s wrist.. Dani barely jumped off the hover-cycle when it was hit.. The impact
of the ground was hard but she quickly scrambled back to her feet and ran as fast as she could to where
Karma was firing from.. Mirage leaped into the hole in the wall and landed beside Karma. She grabbed her
mystical Valkyrie bow and pulled back the string and imagine what type of arrow she wanted.. A gold energy
looking arrow formed and she shot it out the hole in the wall.. A few seconds later a huge explosion.. “That
should give us some time!”

A portal opened up as Magik leaped through and ran to both Karma and Mirage and formed a portal under the three of them allowing
them to escape as the whole building was starting to be blasted from all directions. Illyana had ported all three of them to the top of
a nearby building. “Is everyone okay? Anyone hurt?”

Guido leaped onto the right shoulder of the sentinel as it tried to grab Strong Guy with his left hand after beating on the head. Guido
could see that the damage he did was slowly repairing itself. “Holy hot fudge!” He shouted to himself as he hung on as Aurora and
Rainmaker did another round of attacks. The sentinel was shaking hard with each hit. As it raised its right arm to fire a blast at the ladies,
Strong Guy leaped for the head again with both hands locked together so he could give one big massive hit with everything he had. When
his doubled up fists hit the head of the sentinel the whole right side of the head shattered.

As Rainmaker flew to one side Aurora flew to the opposite side blasting the back of the sentinel with a solid stream of photon energy
causing some serious damage before evading two Zombie-Borgs with jet packs that were shooting at her. She spun around and was
able to blast one of them and knock it out of the air.

and joined him in holding off the zombie-borgs at the entrance of the tunnel. “I thought you might need some help!” Wiz Kid said to Nemesis
as he was able to blast a few of the borgs as he spoke. |

as hard as he could, knocking the rifle from the zombie-borg and then leaped onto the borg slashing away at it in hopes to try and take the thing
apart piece by piece. |

"Thanks, Babe!" Kendra yelled as Chamber's fire took care of the flying zombie-borgs closest to her. She banked and saw Magik had teleported Mirage and Karma to the top of one of the nearby buildings as the one they had been in started to crumble to the ground. Strong Guy, Aurora and Rainmaker's attacks on the Sentinel seemed to be keeping their quadrant under control for the moment, but Daken and Old Man Logan seemed to be having issues with another bunch of these demented things.
((What would Ma do?)) she asked herself as she readied both instruments of death in her hands and took a deep breath as she flew up as high as she could and then more or less barrel-rolled into some zombie-borgs that were running for the two men. ((I may not be a Howlett kid, but it doesn't mean I can't eff these things up good!)) she thought as she swung both her axe and mace and knocked heads off some of the creatures closest to her. "I wish the hell we could stop the tech in these things!" she yelled to Daken and Old Man Logan as she flew back for another pass. "But an EMP could take out our tech, too! I wish good old Cuz Oisin were here. Baby Stark's pretty good at stuff like that. And he'd kill me for calling him Baby Stark." |

Finola's stomach turned just a tad as she thought about her beloved bringing any part of these zombie-borgs back with him to study, but she had learned long ago that science had to be served even if it made some a tad anxious. "He will be fine," she said softly before turning back to Roslea and her talk of the dragon on the astral plane. "What sort of dragon? Like Malachi's dragons?"
"No, mechanical," Roz said as she looked at the action going on just outside the tunnel. She winced, and that made Finola grow a bit more concerned for her old friend.
"Like the thing those Victorian folks showed us before Sinister made a hell of it for all of us? The clockwork monster they had near the old docks on the Thames? And I say monster in the most ridiculous of terms. It seemed to fall apart before anyone got a good look at it."
"No, modern mechanical. James and Henry will be able to discern its origins, but I still don't understand how it got into the realm of the mind so easily," Roslea answered as she looked around as if searching for something specific and not just attackers. "I am sure Emma has it under control with the help of Mara and Jason."
"I pray that is so," Finola said as she kept her gun steady in her hands.

swung around in full Phoenix-Wolf form he flew into the mechanical dragon and sunk his cosmic fire teeth into its neck and tried to rip the head
off but it was more difficult then he had hoped. |

(THE ASTRAL PLANE)
(This machine has a mental psyche to enter the astral plane!) Emma announced to DireWolf and Midnight with a shocked tone to her
response to the robotic dragon. The dragon recovered and spun around them as Emma formed a giant crystal wall to shield them from
a blast of white fire from the machine. As she did Jane the brain in the probe was calling out to be killed. It was the last thing Emma
wanted to do but Emma could feel Jane’s pain and saw the torture she went through to turn her into this. So Emma formed another
crystal spear and sent it through her killing her and the probe. (I am so sorry Jane! You will be revenged!) Emma declared as she formed
a crystal sword. (We need to take this thing out!)
