Aurora created a shield of light to block a Zombie-Borg with a jet pack shooting at her. At the same time she barley dodged the hand
of the sentinel as it tried to grab her from the air. Aurora dropped into a free fall for a moment. It allowed her to blast the Borg with a
full power photon blast and then again evade the sentinels hand as tried to grab her a second time.

After Strong Guy caused a huge crater to the sentinel’s head he started punching at it until a whole bunch of tentacles came out of
the sentinel's shoulder and started to wrap around his legs and arms until he could not move. Guido knew at that point that he was
in big trouble.

in big trouble.
She came to where he was being held and started to rip into the tentacles tearing one arm free. He looked at her curious who she was "The names Ascencia handsome. Once we get out of here Ah will properly introduce myself but for now let's tear these tin cans apart!" She said ripping the other tentacle holding his arms only holding his legs at this point. |

Rainmaker raised her hands above her head as the winds started to pick up. She directed them towards the airborne zombies sending some of the closest ones into the ground. She then remembered what Storm told her.
("Listen to the elements. Let them guide you.")
The lightning also intensified one bolt struck a sentinel.

As she looked to check on the others to see where she should move her barrier, two of the cyborg zombies threw down some explosives that took Claire off guard. After she moved her TK field to protect herself, the cyborgs came at her through one of the walls and began to tackle her through the debris field. If she didn't have her field up in time, Psionica knew that she would've been badly hurt in the attack.
Once they got her away from the other X-Men, one of the cyborg-zombies picked her up and threw her hard enough for her to bounce on the ground before she rolled up to her knees and held her side. "I'm embarrassing my kids and they're not even here," She said to herself before she grabbed the attacking cyborgs with her telekinesis and threw them with all her might into the Sentinel Aurora was fighting to keep her from getting grabbed.

Before Bradley could respond to Finola the side wall crumbled and a group of Zombie-Borg came
rushing in engaging in combat with Psionica. By the time Nemesis spun around and started to fire
on the Borge.. Psionica was pulled outside the tunnel, “Bloody Hell!” He spouted as he leaped through
the air and kicked a Zombie-Borg and sent it flying back into another Borg and out of the hole in the
wall.. Bradley had the appearance of an older man but he had enhanced his body on a genetic level..
Doctor Nemesis was stronger, faster and more agile than a normal human and he showed it as he fought.
Bradley was fully engaged with the Zombie-Borg that came through.. He used his guns as he physically
attacked the Borg.. Shooting one in the head with one hand and backhanded another with the other..
Nemesis even headbutted another causing him to lose his hat.. Which really pissed him off..

(SOD OFF!!) Chamber’s telepathic voice shot out to those who could hear it as plasma fire
rolled into the tunnel like ocean waves into the tunnel at the Zombie-Borg that busted through
the wall.. Jono was helping Doctor Nemesis as best as he could and protecting Emma and the
others who were stuck in the astral plane.. Chamber’s mental powers were improving as he was
able to see what Emma and the others were going through and keeping a link going with Kendra..

Reyes felt desperate to get to Psionica when she saw her go through the wall. Cecilia did not like being
in the field as an active member of the X-Men. She was more comfortable being a part of the medical
and science team. Ever since Cecilia became a mutant she was forced into danger and embraced combat
training. She spent a lot of time in the danger room pushing herself and powers to their limits. Cecilia was
able to cut one of the Zombie-Borgs in half and then roundhouse kicked another impaling it with the spikes,

She banked and saw Magik had teleported Mirage and Karma to the top of one of the nearby buildings as the one they had been in started to crumble to the ground. Strong Guy, Aurora and Rainmaker's attacks on the Sentinel seemed to be keeping their quadrant under control for the moment, but Daken and Old Man Logan seemed to be having issues with another bunch of these demented things.
((What would Ma do?)) she asked herself as she readied both instruments of death in her hands and took a deep breath as she flew up as high as she could and then more or less barrel-rolled into some zombie-borgs that were running for the two men. ((I may not be a Howlett kid, but it doesn't mean I can't eff these things up good!)) she thought as she swung both her axe and mace and knocked heads off some of the creatures closest to her. "I wish the hell we could stop the tech in these things!" she yelled to Daken and Old Man Logan as she flew back for another pass. "But an EMP could take out our tech, too! I wish good old Cuz Oisin were here. Baby Stark's pretty good at stuff like that. And he'd kill me for calling him Baby Stark."

Before Illyana got a response from Mirage and Karma about their condition she saw the battle
with the sentinel.. She saw Duskk fly around and try to blast the sentinel. Before he could send
out a blast from his hand.. The sentinel blasted Duskk from the palm of its hand a moment before
Rainmaker struck it with lightning.. “DUSKK!!” Magik screamed as she quickly formed a teleporting
disk under her and sank through.. She came out of the other side grabbing a hold of his chard body.
She had to hold him with the armored side of her body to keep herself from burning.. They went through
another disk and came out of the ground back inside the tunnel just to see the wall of fire that Chamber
had put up to keep the Zombie-Borg back. “Triage Duskk needs..” Before Magik could finish what she was
saying a bright pinkish-purple light came from Duskk’s body and tossed Illyana to the side wall. When she
recovered she saw something small glowing on the ground. Magik hurried over and saw a crystal in the shape
of the Phoenix symbol that the Phoenix wore on the chest of her uniform.. Illyana picked it up and looked at
it closer.. The crystal was warm and vibrated in her hand. She saw in the middle of the crystal a small fairy
was inside.. Yana could feel that it was Duskk healing from inside it. “I will keep you safe I promise.” She
whispered as she put the crystal in one of her hidden pockets in her uniform.

As she banked, an energy pulse nicked Kendra in the left wing and sent her spinning. "You son of a..." she muttered as she corrected herself as best she could before landing on a large rock pile. "I'm OK!" she shouted to Daken and Old Man Logan as she tried the other thing she and Karenza had been doing in training. "Rock Star's spell better work," she whispered as a small patch of fire seemed to dance around her injured wing and then flash out of sight. "Shite, that actually worked!" Kendra yelled as she lifted off the rock pile and took off toward more flying Zombie-Borgs.
((Babe, that spell from Ma's pal Johnny C actually worked! I can fly again at least. I'm helping Daken and Old Man Logan unless you need me picking off these things closer to the tunnel entrance)) she said in her link to Jono as she used her mace to take the fight out of another Zombie-Borg flyer.

Many may have wondered how a time traveling muse and a man of science became a couple, but others chalked it up to their love of magnificent hats. Finola often wore a top hat with lavish feathers on it, so she understood her beloved's ire at losing his own chapeau.
"Do you want me to see if we can cook up a spell to part human flesh and mechanical wizardry? It may be the only way to stop these wretched things!" she added as she leveled her gun and took the head off another Zombie-Borg. "But they may be so entwined it may do nothing at all! Bollocks!" she shouted as she fired again at another attacker just outside the hole in the tunnel wall.

(THE ASTRAL PLANE) (This machine has a mental psyche to enter the astral plane!) Emma announced to DireWolf and Midnight with a shocked tone to her
response to the robotic dragon. The dragon recovered and spun around them as Emma formed a giant crystal wall to shield them from
a blast of white fire from the machine. As she did Jane the brain in the probe was calling out to be killed. It was the last thing Emma
wanted to do but Emma could feel Jane’s pain and saw the torture she went through to turn her into this. So Emma formed another
crystal spear and sent it through her killing her and the probe. (I am so sorry Jane! You will be revenged!) Emma declared as she formed
a crystal sword. (We need to take this thing out!)(THE ASTRAL PLANE) Jason felt his twin sister pop in for a moment and then pop out as his cosmic fire talons slashed deeply into the mechanical dragon in astral form.
Finally DireWolf hurt the creature as it spun around and whipped Jason with its tail almost causing him to tumble into the void again but this time
DireWolf was able to catch himself with his Phoenix wings. All of this astral battle was new to him. He saw Emma charge at the dragon and needed
to help her so one big flap of his wings he launched forward to join her. |
