David laid on the ground after reforming himself. He looked around at everyone with a sad look
on his face.
“I was the reason why the Age of Apocalypse had happened! I will not allow anyone to make the
same mistake again! Nate Grey I created your world and you are my responsibility! We will stop
you as we are Legion!” David said as he hovered off of the ground and was surrounded by hundreds
of telekinetic energy beings that were his different personalities..

Kennis held her head as she felt all the pain washing over her from the Summers family. She broke into a run and made her way straight to Hope, Citian and Bethany. She arrived just in time to witness Citian's magic.
She held out her hands to Hope not knowing how this young woman would react to her after everything that had happened to her and Nathan while the clan was seemingly away ignoring them in favor of carrying out their own quests. Little did anyone know exactly what had happened so long ago when this all first started.
"Hope, we will all work to get your father back. I promise," Kennis said as her hands trembled. "And if you need a buffer to help you deal with this thing that makes no sense, I will be it for as long as you need."
Kennis looked at Citian and tried not to cry as she thought of the pain that all of her grandchildren were experiencing. "We are here for all of you. For everyone in the family of X. For as long as you need us."

"We hold for the moment, Rain," Kari said quietly as she kept on eye on the approaching group from the town. "It would not make sense for Nate to use these people as attack dogs if he is trying so hard to build a world where peace is the central conviction, but after everything that happened today, I make no bets that idea will hold water. Stay sharp, and we'll see where this goes."
Kari did not want to think about the team being in yet another fight, but they needed to be prepared just in case. As she looked toward Rachel, Kari could feel Nathan trying to help her navigate this mess. "Rain, can you feel Maddie here at all? I know her relationship with Nate was, at times, a bit hard to understand. I am not feeling her at the moment, but then again, sometimes she is hard for those not of her bloodline to locate."
It was then that Kari saw Jean, Scott and young Nathan exit the temple, and she knew in her heart that all hell was going to break loose.
As Darkchylde reached out she felt it. "She's been here. The signature has faded but she's been here. What that means I don't know Kari." |

around him.. “I know he is the younger version of our Cable but I really want to lay my hands on him!
I know Karenza will find a way to bring our Cable back but I am mad as Hell!” Spouted Warpath..

“Cosmos’s ability to get through the mental blocks of my mask has taken me by surprise. Being taken by surprise in that way is not a feeling
that I like Chere.” Fantomex responded just as the fog came in and changed their location.
“Well JJ it looks like being taken by surprise is something I have to get used to. How are you doing with all of this Chere?” He said as he looked
all around him taken in his surroundings. "Oh, I can only imagine how this is making you feel," JJ said as she smiled up at Fantomex. "Me? I feel like a tennis ball being rocketed back and forth between Serena Williams and Emma Raducanu at the French Open. I'll be fine, but I am not asking for it to be a regular thing. I'll take flying in EVA any day of the week. This portal stuff always makes me antsy."
JJ's attention was drawn pretty quickly to all the stuff going on around Young Cable and then to whatever was happening with Jamie Madrox and Nate Grey. "Wait, that's David Haller. OK, this is getting weirder by the minute. I'd say for us to keep our eyes and ears open with all the Hounds coming up from that town and now this, but I know you and I rarely clock off. The X-Men never do itty bitty quiet evenings, do we? It's always something like a Hollywood blockbuster! What do you think? Have our guns at the ready?"

Thom just sat and listened to everyone as they spoke about Cable and how they believed he would return to them one day as the man they knew.
He wished they had been as positive about Rahne's return.
He looked up at the sky above them and wanted nothing more that to spread his wings and fly as far away as possible, but he knew that would not bring Rahne back to her family and friends.
{{Rahne, I'm not sure if you can hear me, but I pray that you do. I am sure you are in the arms of your Creator and safely at the side of those you love. I am sorry I was not fast enough to protect you. You never should have been in a position to fall to a sniper. And these vile people should not be allowed to continue to walk the Earth. Your friends and family here miss you. I miss you. And I will do what I can to make sure they take no one else down in their campaign of evil}}
Thom took a deep breath and turned to look at Nate Grey and the person he heard called David Haller. {{May this all end quickly. We need no more injuries. Not a one}}

Bethany stepped back as Kennis came over to comfort Hope and Citian, and she tried not to listen to all the other conversations going on around them.
Something about Nate Grey's new paradise seemed to be very wrong as far as Bethany was concerned.
Maybe it was the fog that transported everyone to this little piece of the Canadian wilderness?
Maybe it was Nate's psionic powers that were making her feel freaky.
But more than likely it was that momentary blip in New York where she swore she felt the man who called himself her father.
Kendra was only a small distance away, but Bethany did not want to go bother her about the man who called himself Finbar Athonlea. He may have been her father as well, but Bethany knew the only man Kendra wanted to call Father had just been killed by his younger self.
{{Abaddon, you demon, you will have to wait}} Bethany thought as she looked back toward Citian and Hope. {{I have my real family to take care of right now}}
"Your grandmother is right, Hope. We will all stand together to help you get answers and maybe start to believe that the impossible will happen once more. Who would have predicted that a baby born on an Irish battlefield in the early 500s would be standing here today as the protector of a man from the future that she loves so very much? Or that the power cosmic, in so many different forms, would dwell among us as a friend and protector? We will figure this out. We will get Nathan back. Your mother came back to us for a reason, and this has to be part of it."

"It makes sense Maddie would be watching," Kari said quietly to Rain as she watched what was going on around Nate Grey, his bodyguard and David Haller. "She also knows walking into this mess might be a bigger issue than she wanta to handle at the moment. I would not blame her. I doubt very much that any of us want to be in the middle of this mess right now."
Kari would have loved to knock a bit of sense into Nate, but she knew any attack on him might cause him and his forces to go into attack mode, and the team was already exhausted after the Orchis battle.
"I've been scanning that temple for anything that might be Celtic, and I'm drawing blanks. Nothing I can leverage for a quick end to this," Kari said as she stopped to listen to Michelle and James. "Daughter? Oh, Nate, what have you been doing? Where have you been finding your acolytes?"
Kari looked back at Rain and Adaryn and shook her head. "Be ready for anything. Nate may have gone out to find more of the missing Summers clan, and we have no idea how much he has told anyone who comes to his aid."

As much as she loved that Rachel flew over and embraced Kid Cable and wanted to stay and share that moment she saw and felt what
happened with Nate Grey and Legion. So she flew as fast as she could and landed between them. Jean knew that both Nate and David
were two mutants with power that could change reality if they fought one another. She was scared by where all of this could go.
“I am so sorry Nate but I can not allow any of this to continue!” Jean said as she put up a big wall between him and Legion. “This world
with all of its flaws needs to come out of this time without forcing your reality and rule upon it! X-Men prepare for battle!” Jean announced
as her uniform transformed into her astral battle suit.“Jean.. Mother.. Must you keep pushing me? Why you cannot accept that this is what must be? I tried to be the son that you wanted! I tried
to be the one to usher the X-Men and our people to a new age! All of you showed me that we can not do this together! I must do this all by
myself! For mutant kind to evolve we must destroy the past!” Nate Grey responded. “You have forced our hand here, Nate! We tried to talk you out of this! I am sorry it comes to this, I truly am!” Jean said as she suddenly was
hit with a powerful telekinetic blast that would have shattered a mountain. Jean’s force field protected her as she hit the ground so hard it
created a crater and the ground to shake like a mini earthquake. After X-Man knocked Jean out of the way the Horseman of Salvation began to attack the X-Men. The Hounds from the village began running towards
the battle as Nate Grey sent the same mental blast that hit Legion at the same time he grabbed him in his telekinetic field and pulled him into himself
and Nate Grey merged into Legion taking him over. Once they merged he took control of all the personalities and their powers and re-entered Jamie Madrox
Prime and created an army of dupes to join the battle.

Diana created a telekinetic sword for the first time, inspired by Betsy and Psylocke and tried to slash Magneto and was hit by Omega Red’s
giant tentacle before she could and was slammed to the ground hard.
BAMF!! Nightcrawler teleport and grabbed her and teleported her away and saved her as The Blob came down to try and crush her.
BAMF!! Nightcrawler ported both of them to a safe distance to regroup.

“Holy Crap!” Polaris said as she froze and just looked at her father and could not bring herself to attack him. “Please do not do this!” She said
to him as she felt him change his magnetic field opposite of hers which felt like she was hit by a train.
Everything turned black for a moment and there was a loud ringing in her ears. She opened her eyes and realized she was unconscious for
a few minutes and tasted blood in her mouth. “Son of a bitch.” She muttered to herself as her daughter flew to help her up.

“NOOOOOO!!” Guido yelled when suddenly Jamie Madrox once again exploded into an army of dupes and began to attack. A Madrox dupe
that was in the form of a feline tiger leaped over and slashed him in his left arm. His rock hard muscles lessen the damage. Strong Guy was
able to spin around and land a good punch to the creature's face and took it out instantly. At the Same time Monet punched another as they
were fighting side by side. “This sucks really bad!”

As everything turned bad quickly Archangel stepped behind Persha and embraced her in a hug from behind, “You do not mind that I hold
you for a moment so I can do this?” Archangel said as all four of his razor sharp wings slashed all the Madrox dupes that came at them as
he spoke to her. “I am sorry for the gore!” He said as body parts and blood were everywhere around them both.

“I knew it was going to go down like this!” Bobby yelled out as he quickly created a wall of ice to shield him and the Marauders as the
Madrox army came at them. The wall only protected them for a few minutes as a Fire-Madrox destroyed it before Iceman had to engage
in combat with the dope. The rest of the Marauders were also now surrounded by Madrox dupes.
