"I'm just praying that fog was not the Kool Aid. I want to keep my wits about me. Nate may mean well, but this doesn't seem like such a hot idea. Even if it is Canada."
Cair looked up at the statue of Nate and shook her head. "I can hear Maggie and Glynis now. Maggie would be screaming about Nate looking like Jesus, and Glynis would wonder what temple Nate uprooted to bring here. My sisters can be batsh!t crazy," she added as she looked around for all the other Howletts and extended family members. "Think we need to do a head count, babe? Before anyone wanders into town there and gets roped into something?"

“I just want to say that I am sorry how this all went down Ray and I understand your feelings.” Dazzler said as she wanted to comfort Ray
and did not want to say anything that he was not up to hearing. Alison did have hope as she was an older member of the X-Men and seen
and experienced a lot of things over the years for not to have hope.
“I am sorry that we had great losses today.” She continued to say to the younger generation of X-Men. All of this broke Alison’s heart.

Wade chuckled in response to Logan and quicklie put his left hand over his heart and began to
sing the anthem to Canada..
"O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love thou dost in us command.

said as she turned around and looked at the town in the distance and saw a small group of people walking from the town in their direction.
“It looks like we are about to have some company!” She declared. |

Forge turned around to see what Domino was seeing. A few of the people heading in their direction from the town did not look human
at all. In fact one looked like a bear in clothes.
“I think they are mutants like us!” Forge said as he ready himself to grab his guns if needed.

Jean closed her eyes and turned her head in the direction of the tunnel opening, “Nate is here and he brought all the X-Men with him.”
Jean said to Cyclops, Kid Cable and Apocalypse. She then returned her attention to Apocalypse and looked him in the eyes once again.
“I struggle to forgive you for what you did to all of us, especially kidnapping Nate and infecting him with the techno virus.” Jean said as
her eyes glowed brighter. “I see the past in your mind and the pain you felt losing your family and your people. You were left behind to
prepare us for the return of Amenth demon forces led by Annihilation. I also see the pride you had for us every time we defeated you.
You knew who Nathan would become and how important he is to our survival.” Jean paused for a moment. “You hoped for us to overcome
your attacks.”
“Yes, so you could be strong! Every version of myself from different timelines tested all of you and you defeated us every single time! I am
so proud of you and your strength!” Apocalypse responded back.
Jean had opened the whole conversation and what she had seen in Apocalypse's mind to Karenza, Rachel and all the telepaths.

“Copycat is right!” Sage said as she used the binocular function of her glasses to get a close up of the mutants that were heading in
their direction from the town. “They are the Hounds that we fought back in the city!” Sage confirmed as she prepared herself for a
possible conflict.

Kate gave Old Man Logan a smile before she answered.. “Of course you can be a part of the Marauders..
Your experiences and skills will benefit the team..” Kate responded as she held out her hand and they
both shook on it just as the fog quickly rushed in and faded just as fast as it rushed in.. Everyone was
in a new location with X-Man’s temple on one side and a small town on the other side..

Both Rictor and Shatterstar had rushed over to where Monet and Guido too check on Jamie..
“How is he?” Rictor said as he looked down to see the burns from the lightning were going
away..
“How in the world is he doing that?” Rictor said as the fog came in and they were in the new
location.. He spun around and saw the temple and was in shock..
to Rictor as he and Shatterstar had joined him, Havok with Monet holding Jamie in his arms.

location. He turned to face the Temple..
“Holy crap! I think Nate Grey is crazier than we thought!” Santo shook his head back and forth
with frustration..
calls himself the X-Man, who is trying to recreate the world?” Rose asked Rockslide as she was trying to make sure that she understood what
was going on. She was unaware of X-Man and was taken off guard by everything that was happening and wanted to understand. |

Before Rocklside could respond Pixie jumped in and responded. “Yes you got all of that right as crazy as that sounds. X-Man is Nate Grey
from an alternate universe that was splintered from this one when it was altered. He was created in a lab by Sinister from that world. I
know it all sounds crazy but all of it is true.”

we wondered what had happened to him. Dani may know more about why he left.”
Dust added to what Pixie said as she looked over at X-Man and was really worried about what he was going to do next.

“Well Surgah it looks like more trouble is coming our way.” Rogue said to Kuja as she then made her way over to her husband Gambit and
Black Tom. “Come on you two we might have trouble heading our direction!” Rogue said to them as she stepped forward and waited for the
Hounds that were heading in their direction. She was hoping that this was a peaceful visit but she doubted it.

Rain had stayed pretty close to Kari and her family with all the jumping around but with everything that had transpired before them this was hard to make an adjustment to. Jean's telepathic upload to them didn't help.
"And here I thought me and my twin sister being created to help bring down the X-Men at one point was the weirdest revelation I would encounter!" She said out loud . She then saw the former hounds.
"Is this a fight or flight situation?!" She said to Kari.
