Ahab’s ship the Pequod had cloaked itself as it began to change course for New York city.. Ahab stood
on the bridge facing out the view screen.. Before him was a holographic image of Doctor Devo of Orchis..
“Hello Doctor.. We are moving into the next phase of the plan.. We should be entering New York city in about
five minutes..” Ahab conveyed to Devo..{Very good.. Muir Island operation has not gone as planned.. The X-Men sudden arrival and now counter attack
has us parting ways with that team and operation.. Nova has decided to engage the mutants which lead to the
data operation to be a failure.. We are not able to take all the information that we wanted from the facility.. So
we will now move to the next part of the operation with hope that Muir island battle will distract and divide..
Orchis troops are on their way to the Xavier Institute.. Good luck Ahab may your operation be a success..} Devo
said to Ahab..“And good luck to you and Orchis with your operation.. The mutants have no clue what is about to happen!” Ahab
laughed as the holographic image of Devo faded..

“This is kind of exciting.” Fantomex said to JJ as he sat down in the pilot seat and EVA lowered a helmet down over his head.
“This will help me connect to what Sage calls the X network. A group of satellites that Beast and Forge created for the X-Men and now for Krakoa. I will be
able to use those resources to track Ahab’s ship.” He said to JJ as Dragonfly and Maverick hurried to their seats.
“Okay X-Force here we go!” Announced Fantomex as EVA closed her hatch and they flew out of the cave and waterfall at a high velocity.
“We should reach New York in five!”

“This is so hardcore.” Yuna said as she was excited and nervous at the same time. She had done a lot of things in her life but she had never
attacked a warship from an alternate future before.
“So are we going to raid the ship when we find it? Go in and take control of the ship?” She asked as she felt like the new kid to all of this.

“We will end up doing all that but first we'll take the time to try and collect enough intel that we can before we go ahead. Information is key for
all operations as you do not want to go in blind.” Domino explained to Shogun.
“Since this is your first time doing something like this, just stay close to me and watch my six. One thing about having Deadpool on your team is
that all the focus will be on him. We will be able to move more freely around.”

JJ nodded to Dom as she mentioned that Deadpool would likely be the center of attention. "Yeah, Yuna, you could not have a better guide or partner in this situation than Domino. And Dom, thanks for the pep talk. The BAMFs will always get everyone that is defenseless out of a tight spot, and while Gordo is a badass, he is no match for weaponized troops. I'm just hoping the New Mutants can get the situation under control quickly."
As she looked back over to Fantomex, JJ smiled as she watched him guide EVA in tracking the Pequod. "I know I'm not the greatest tactical mind when it comes to this stuff, but this smells like all kinds of bad. I mean, Hank, Moira, the Shadow King and Nova were all messed up in that crap in the vault. Do you think they were trying to make some sort of weirdo headway to set this all in motion back then?"
"JJ, what are you getting at?" Lu asked as she stayed near Jason and Wade.
"Sleeper agents. Could they have mentally hijacked anyone? I'm not accusing anyone. But it just seems a bit too connected not to be a possibility." |

"I really hope not," Julia added as she jumped in on the topic of sleeper agents. "That's not a feeling I want to wish on my worst enemy, even if my worst enemy. Well, most of them." She couldn't help but think back to when she was turned into a weapon to fight the X-Men against her will, along with her siblings. The end result of that was not pretty, especially since it resulted in her best friend and younger brother dying.
"And it does happen, hopefully we can take care of it fast." Julia started to double check her handgun and account for all of her ICER rounds she had in her pouches. The magazines were small enough that she had plenty of ammo. "As long as it's not someone with a decent healing factor, with these fancy SHIELD rounds, I could probably knock them out in a couple shots at most." After checking her handgun, she checked the ammo on her AR PDW. Julia tended to be more non-lethal than the others, so she had more ammo for her handgun, but she wasn't planning on going so unprepared and put the others in danger as a result.

“Thank you JJ.” Domino responded after the kind words and then listened to the conversation shift to sleeper agents.
“I have dealt with sleeper agent problems in the past. When X-Force was started I was captured by Stryfe and replaced by the mutant
known as Copycat who was a shapeshifter.” Domino began to explain as Deadpool spun his head around when he heard Domino mention
Copycat who he was in a relationship with.
“Stryfe had taken her and made her think she was me. That is an extreme way to set up a sleeper agent. Stryfe transferred my memories
into her and even fooled Cable for months. So JJ brings up a good point.”

“That must have been so difficult for you when you were rescued and joined X-Force after someone who founded the team was just a
sleeper agent of Stryfe. I just want to bring to everyone's attention that Stryfe’s name has been thrown around a lot lately and it seems
we are circling around this man.” Yuna said as she looked out the cockpit window and saw how fast they were moving with how the clouds
were zipping past the ship.

“Jason has caught me up on the situation and I think it is all connected with Ahab, Nova, Shadow King and Stryfe all are well known to
mess with mutant minds. So I hope Hollywood has improved his mental powers over the years. I have protection with the mind stuff with
my mask. No matter what, this is going to be hardcore.” Maverick added to the conversation.
“I also have experience with being brainwashed a few times by Weapon Plus. I think it is a right of passage in a way.” Maverick laughed.

“We are entering New York now and EVA is cloaked to human eyes!” Fantomex said as everyone could feel the ship slowing down.
“I am looking for the Pequod now!” He said as the view screen extended around most of the ship and began to search in different energy
spectrum's.

JJ nodded to Fantomex as she made one last check of her gear. She was praying that her idea about sleeper agents was just that--an idea and not a reality.
Chance was also waiting for Deadpool to start getting into it about Copycat. That must have been hell for Domino, Cable, Copycat and Deadpool when it all came to light. She was glad she missed it. It was freaky enough when someone tried to say she was Dragonfly's sister and that they were both children of Apocalypse. That was in that weird alternate timeline future, so it was likely a lot of nonsense to begin with.
"Babe, whatever you need, give me the word," JJ said quietly to Fantomex as she waited for the team's next move.

“Her name was Vanessa and she was the great love of my life and I ended our relationship when
I found out I had cancer.. This was before Weapon Plus turned me into Deadpool.. I was the one
that helped her off the streets and trained her when she wanted to be a merc like me.. She was
hired by a man called Tolliver who was really Stryfe and turned her into a spy so Stryfe could have
an eye on Cable..
When we found out the truth she helped us find Domino and rescue her.. In the end she ended up
killed by Sabretooth despite everything and never had the chance to fix things with her..” Deadpool
said in a serious tone which took everyone who knew him by surprise..

“I am so sorry Wade..” Hollywood responded to Wade as Jason was also struck with a lot of emotion
as Copycat was a friend from his past as well..
“Vanessa was a lot of fun.. I met her the same time I met Wade during our merc years when we did
jobs together.. That was before X-Force or the X-Men.. If she was still alive I am sure she would be
here with us on this team.. At least I would like to think so.. Stryfe messed her up pretty bad.. Then
Slayback almost killed her and it took her a long time to recover just for her to be killed by Creed..”
Hollywood’s voice turned to anger as Lu put her arm around her husband..
“I understand how you feel Wade.. I miss her too..”

“I have to admit I was very uncomfortable with her because she had personal memories that I
had shared with Domino that were between us as friends and family.. It was hard for me to be
around her because of that.. Not that I did not like her, Wade.. I just want you to know that.. I
know how special she was to you my friend..” Dragonfly said to Deadpool before spinning his seat
around to face JJ..
“So JJ you want to put the mystery to an end and know the truth.. They say the truth will set you
free..” Conor said as he pulled out his phone which was not any other mobile phone.. This was a
special made phone that Cable had created for a select few with technology from the future..
“We could check our DNA together with a quick scan we could know if and how we are related..”
Conor handed her the phone and moved in close to her until both of them were in the video image
on the phone.. “Just tap the screen and we should know right away..” Dragonfly was just as curious
as he had very little memory of his childhood it had been so long.. Charles Xavier had helped him regain
the memories as best as he could.. He had no memory of his parents only that he was passed down by
family members.. If JJ was his sister that would mean that she was very old like he was and that would
be interesting mystery..

as they flew into the city..
“We should climb higher so we can get a better look.. Ahab could be anywhere by now!” Henry s
aid in a stressed voice.. He was wondering how everything was going back at the mansion with
the New Mutants and the others that were on the grounds..
