“JJ I will help you with Fantomex!” Conor said as JJ slung one of his arms around her and cupped
her arm around his waist as Dragonfly did the same as they walked Fantomex out of EVA.. Once
they stepped out of the ship.. EVA shrunk down to the size of a marble but was too weak to fly so
JJ had scooped her up and put her into Fantomex’s pocket before walking him to the front of the
store.. They sat him down in front of a pile or a stack of dog food facing out the window at the parking
lot without being easily seen.. Just as Cable had hoped nothing changed outside.. EVA still appeared in
the parking lot with Stryfe and his Hounds surrounding EVA not having a clue that it was all an illusion..

“I am updating the Professor and the rest of the council on the situation!” Jean said as she stayed
close to Cable and Karenza.. Suddenly Jean and Karenza stopped walking and turned to one another
with a surprised look.. They felt the arrival of Citian.. Bethany and the original five..
“Citian and his crew are here!” Jean announced as she looked over at Persha and Darkchylde and gave
them a friendly smile as she was glad to have them around.. At the same time Jean woke up Vanessa
as Deadpool requested..

“With Citian and his crew here things are going to heat up fast.. At least we have a moment to
get our heads clear before we deal with Stryfe of all people!” Spouted Logan as he shook his head
back and forth.. Wolverine looked over at Forge and Ravager as they were heading over to the auto
parts aisle..
“I wonder what those tool heads are going to create!”

“Vanessa loved Cosco! We would shop in this particular store all the time.. We would be here
for hours.. Mostly because we would lose Blind Al and have to go find her.. Which was a pain
in the ass because we would have these two full carts to lug around while looking for her..
Those were the good old days!” Deadpool spouted as Stenbuck and him were the first ones
that came out of the open hatch of the ship.. Both moved in a perfect formation with Domino
between them.. Hollywood and Lu were right behind as they slowly moved to the front of the
store.. Everyone inside the store had found areas in the store to safely lay down and fall asleep
thanks to Jean..
“This is kind of creepy seeing all these people like this.. This would be a nice trick to pull off when
you have to go to a DMV..” Wade chuckled until they made it to the front of the store and he saw
a woman asleep against a toddler rocket ride with a gun resting on her lap..
“Oh my God, that is Vanessa!” Deadpool spouted out as he hurried over to her..
“Jean, you need to wake her up!”
that this was an X-Force team.
“Hey handsome I figured you and the old man were going to show up when I saw Stryfe.” Vanessa said as her clothes turned into her version of an
X-Force uniform and her skin turned blue and her hair went from black to white. She held her hand out for Wade to help her up to her feet.
“I know Wade, we have a lot to talk about like being alive and all. We will have that conversation for a later time. Right now you guys and gals look like
you need some help so if you or Cable have any nice hardware for me to use that would be nice because this Ruger 9mm is not going to cut it!”

Dante tagged along with X-Force because of the similarities of events he saw when he traveled the multiverse and wanted to do his part in preventing some things from happening, but everything he'd experienced since the Bodyslide into EVA hadn't made him feel comfortable. From EVA being taken out of the sky to the style of forces that were attacking New York, everything wasn't exactly the same, but it was all close enough and he didn't like it.
[Biggest change so far was them being inside a Costco, but that didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. And when he saw Copycat, he couldn't help but feel like they were heading straight for a very bad situation. "This is not going to be pretty," he said before he glanced down at his own techno-organic arm.

“No Dante it is not going to be pretty at all!” Quentin said with excitement. Dante looked over at Quentin a little surprised by his tone.
“You know guys I am a mutant super power and we can kick some serious ass!” Quentin said as he created a huge tank with his powers
knocking down some displays and a snack aisle. Quentin then used his telekinesis to grab a big bag of cheesy puffs that was on the ground.
He opened the bag and offered some to his wife and then Dante.

Brigantia looked around at the place where the group had decided to make a stand and sniffed as she seemed to be getting her bearings. She winced and felt what could only be a mystic push back from Sydney. The Scottish witch was happy to see Dante there, and she giggled as she saw Quentin offer him some cheesy puffs. "Ba...Dante. Sorry. Old habits. I have control for a hot minute. I can tell Brigantia is not happy to be sitting in Costco. She'll have to lump it. I am not sure she knows how to use any weapons, so if she asks, maybe don't let her have anything too enormous. I know you have a lot of nice toys. She may break them all."
Before she could say another word, Sydney found herself pushed to the back again as Brigantia took control. "We could just go out and send them to the pits of hell, Morrigan. You know that. One whispered word and they would be dust."
"One whispered word in the wrong ear could lead to death for those who do not deserve that fate, Brigantia," Karenza said as she looked over at the group around Dante and Quentin. "This is not some nonsense from those Potter books."
"You are a buzzkill, you cow," Brigantia said as she looked from Karenza and back to Dante. "I can see why Sydney had issues with the Morrigan's family for so many years. Doesn't know how to have fun."

JJ stayed with Fantomex and Dragonfly but kept her eyes and ears open in case anything started to go FUBAR in this lovely, all-American Big Box store. "Babe, you are doing great," she said quietly to Fantomex as she watched what was going on outside. Part of her was scared as hell that Cailleach would spoil everything by running to Stryfe, but she had not turned up. That just seemed a bit too convenient.
((Not gonna question it. Just gonna protect my man if he needs it)) she thought as she waited to see what would happen next. She heard the commentary by the recently-possessed Sydney and feared a goddess-level dust up that no one needed. "We do not need those two recreating a bad night The Cat's Meow." JJ suddenly noticed a few people looking her way. "Karaoke club back home on Bourbon Street. Lots of drunk ladies getting into fights. We do not need that here. Period."
If JJ had been truly honest, it was her nerves getting the better of her and not any potential funny business with Sydney and Kari.
"Babe, I know I'm not as great as Kate at the phasing stuff, but, if I need to, I can do it. I can get us to safety if this all goes nuts, so you can keep doing your healing and your illusions," JJ said to Fantomex as she stayed at his side. |

Fantomex was in his deep trance state creating the illusion of a crashed EVA from all aspects of reality. He was able to create everyone's
psychic presence all the way down to their trained psy defenses. Which really sold it to Stryfe that they were still there.
Fantomex had been in situations like this in the past but this was the first time he felt safe and protected doing so.
“Thank you JJ. I feel safe with you.” Fantomex said in a tone that sounded mechanical like a machine.

“I am glad you understand why Storm and I did what we did. I do feel that we did things different if we had to do it over again. We were
still able to raise you and watch you grow up so I feel very blessed to have that.” Forge said to Ravager as the secret was now out about
Storm and himself being his parents.
Both of them had raided different things from tools, computers, guns and ammo and lots of drones. Both Jackson and Forge were creating
armed drones that both of them could control.

“I have grown up at the school and now I am an X-Man myself so I understand the choice you made to protect me. Like you said I still
had you and Storm growing up especially when I came to the school.” Jackson said as his mutant ability and his enhanced body had him
work on the drones at a fast pace. He had already had a few drones done.
“And what I want to say is that we work great together, Pops!”

Yuna stayed close to Domino as she was becoming a mentor of Yuna. They had already formed a friendship by hanging out for the weddings.
Domino’s experience as a mercenary and a long member of X-Force and the X-Men was something that Yuna admired that was not her dad.
Yuna stood silently with her hand resting on the hilt of her sword. With Copycat’s sudden return from the dead has stirred a lot of emotions
between Domino, Deadpool and that group that had that long history together. Yuna secretly loved hearing about their past and their experiences.

Bethany stood by Citian's side as they entered the battlefield in New York. She vaguely remembered Stryfe from one of the altercations before Bethany "blipped" to that other dimension with Finola Marlowe. She was lucky that everyone around her was angry about the arrival of this interloper and his goon squad, and she used the energy to power herself for the oncoming attack.
{{I do not plan to die today, but if I do, I am glad it is in this world at your side}} Bethany said telepathically to Citian as mystic armor started to form around her. {{May The Goddess watch over us all}}
As a mace formed in her hands, Bethany stepped back and prepared for her first strike, only to be pushed back by some sort of psychic wave. Blood dripped from her nose as she fought the images she was suddenly seeing.
"I'm good! I think I am, anyway." she shouted as wiped her face and looked back at the original five X-Men. She was lying. Her hand holding the mace shook slightly, and she gripped it all the harder because of it. Whatever she saw was connected to the world where she had been, and she knew it once she saw the face of one man. "Everyone, we may be dealing with some sort of multiversal bull. I'm feeling things I haven't felt since I got back here, and that can't be good."
