Alex stood his ground and backed Jean and his younger brother Vulcan with a full blast into the smaller sentinels. His blast destroyed only a
few of them while the other ones already began to regenerate. Two sentinels flew into the portal gate to Krakoa but the portal did not work
for them. They simply passed through the gate to the other side. Still remaining on the island.
“The gates only work for mutants or who Krakoa recognizes as Krakoan!” Havok yelled out as he took another blast at the sentinels that were
now heading toward him.
“I might need some help here!”
her towards Havok.. Once his hand let go of her she became fully tangible and flew down at a faster
speed towards the man-sized sentinels that were about to surround him..
(SNIKT!!)
Wolverine popped her claws and sailed into them slashing away..
“Looked like you needed assistants!” She spouted out to Havok as he looked relieved to see her..
Alex continued blasting them as the ones he already took down were starting to get back up almost fully repaired.
“This is not good at all!”

“These sentinels are healing like Wolverine!” Genn shouted as unsheathed his sword and began slashing the sentinels. His blade cut deep into the machines
but Ghost turned the tide of the battle as he phased through one and it exploded. As he continued to fight the three of them noticed that the sentinel that
Ghost phased through was not healing or repairing itself. So Ghost flung himself into another.

“Let’s do this babe!” Quentin said as Everly and him went through her portal once the last person went through.
“Say hello to my little friend!” Quentin shouted as he came out of the portal creating a missile launcher from his telekinesis and shot a missile into one
of the big sentinels causing a big explosion. He then created a big Cable like rifle and started shooting sentinels.

Ray was in complete shock when Hope ran over to him and grabbed him away from his friends. He didn't even get a chance to think about what she yelled to him before the two of them teleported away. And when they came to their destination, he stood, looking around confused before it finally kicked in as he stared at his sister. Ray's eyes darted from Cable to Karenza, then he looked at the Sentinels, and then back to his sister as she held a rifle at their teammates. "Naomi?" He said to her just as the shockwaves echoed as the Juggernaut appeared and started to rip through some Sentinels. When she didn't respond, he tried to talk to her telepathically, but got nothing but feedback, like her brain wasn't turned on or was being blocked by something? "Naomi!" Even with all of the information Hope provided to him, it was still taking awhile for him to process it all. He started to walk toward his sister, but she quickly fired on him, and he just barely got a TK shield up in time to block most of the shots, but he was struck in the arm and fell backward. Instinctively, he shot an energy blast toward the gun to knock it out of Naomi's hands, but that just made her charge at him head on.
down between Naomi and Ray to protect him.
“Ray you okay? You look hurt!” She called out to him as she used her body to shield him from the constant blasts from sentinels and Orchis soldiers. |

Kari was very glad to see reinforcements arrive for the battle, and watching the Sentinels unable to use the gate took a tiny bit of pressure off for the moment. She could concentrate on trying to dismantle some of these stupid machines, but the fact they regenerated was beyond annoying.
Then she watched as Ghost used his powers to disrupt some of the Sentinels.
{{Nathan, Ghost may have found a way to shut these things down. Everyone who can, keep your eyes on Ghost. Assist him in whatever he needs}} Kari said via the team's link. {{Cass, you and Curran stay with Major X. Blast your way through to give Hope more time}}
"So, is anyone else I know still around?" Rhiannon shouted as she tapped her dragon's side, and it started to spew molten rocks onto some of the smaller human-sized Sentinels.
"Dante and Daiyei are back, and so are the MacLeods," Kari replied to her cousin as she sent a wing of cosmic light and darkness through a larger Sentinel to see if she could disrupt them as Ghost was doing to the smaller ones. So far, she seemed to be having little luck. "We can do old home week later."
"Fair enough," Rhiannon replied as she banked and rammed her mount into the side of the Sentinel Kari had tried to disrupt."Tag team?"
Kari nodded as she and Rhiannon flew around the large Sentinel and kept hitting it to keep it from attacking the others. "Any chance Ruarc might be on his way? We could use him."
"He and Rhys had a falling out, and he's been coy with me for ages," Rhiannon replied before she dodged a blast from the nearby Sentinel.

Rhiannon was not about to tell the throng of those battling for their lives that her brothers were both being childish beyond words at the moment. That could wait for a long drink and perhaps a plate of onion rings at Harry's, assuming Harry's was still standing that is! One could never be too certain about such things.
"I am not even sure how you found us," Rhiannon said to Kari as she banked her dragon and dodged another blast. "Oh, the cosmic birds. Power boost. I'm not thinking all that clearly."
"We have a lot to catch up on," Kari replied as she barreled toward the Sentinel again and slammed both wings into it. "These damned things!" she shouted as she got thrown back as she was hit by the Sentinel's arm. "Crap! I'm fine-ish. But that hurts!"
"The more things change," Rhiannon noted as she looked to see if anyone else might be joining the fight. "I'm trying to get Ruarc here, but he's being a toad about things, as usual."

All of this was supposed to be to see if her father Cyclops was possibly resurrected by the Phoenix Egg
that he had inside him when he died.. She was sure that he would be.. Rachel had even died and the
Phoenix had brought her back as well as her mother.. Rachel was damn well confident that she was about
to see him again.. She was also planning to investigate for any possible clues to where Forge was.. All of
that went out the window when they arrived on Muir and it was occupied by an Orchis force.. Everything
was moving fast now as her boyfriend Ravager and her followed behind Cable and Karenza.. Like everyone
else she was surprised by Omega Sentinel and Naomi.. Before Rachel knew it she threw up a telekinetic field
to shield everyone she could as particle.. Pulse and laser fire was coming from all directions.. She looked over
and Karenza was weaving her magic that brought two dragons with riders through.. Suddenly other X-Men were
showing up like Namor.. All of it happening in minutes of one another.. Ravager announced to her that he was
going with Hope and ran behind her and Namor.. Rachel made a choice and ran with her boyfriend and leaped
into the ocean.. Before Jackson and her reached the freezing waters she formed a telekinetic sphere around
them both..
“I am going to do whatever it takes to get my father back. He better not hurt Rachel. I do not know how I can handle that. He does not even know that
I know or that I am even alive!” He opened up to her.

Gabriel was surprised when Karenza summoned two dragons with riders on them. (That was some Doctor Strange level of magic.) He thought
to himself as he flew as fast as he could to get over the hill to see Cyclops grave. With all the other X-Men showing up he decided to go for it.
When he came over the hill and looked down at his brother's grave he was taken back at what he saw. He saw a burned crater where Cyclops
grave should be.
(Jean! Karenza! Cable! I need you to see through my eyes!) Vulcan called out with his mind in hopes that any of them would hear him.

("Understood Kari!") Elda said through their link as she saw Juggernaut and his wife rocket past focusing on a sentinel. It made her smile seeing Sarah channeling her Asgardian abilities. )
("Persha you said this woman is your friend? What are her abilities?")
Persha reflected another of Nightmares attacks to very quickly answer. (" Her powers are like her namesake. She can manifest either partial or full including appearance of creatures she can dream up. We have to keep her occupied long enough for Trinary to remove the programming. I've seen her powers at work if we don't remove that influence on her Nightmare can cause quite a problem for us. ")
mind was attacked by a very advanced nanobots that had attached to her nervous system..
“I found the problem!.. I am trying to remove the nanobots right now and it’s not easy!” Shouted
Trinary as a trickle of blood rolled down her nose down to her lip where she tasted it..
"Get out of our head!" The scream started to sound more computer like when a human voice broke through. "Help me.....Please." |

Rainmaker was already engaged with the sentinels when lightning shot out of the gateway and a familiar white haired young lady flew through. "Rainmaker cover your uncle. He needs your assistance. " The two weather controlling women nodded to each other as Natalie flew down to help Nehzo.
"You are never alone my brother." The wakandan princess said as the winds picked up pushing the sentinel back some as she utilized some of her strength to physically knock the sentinel back giving Nehzo a moment to recover.
tried to block the pain from the blast to his back.. Natalie taking on the sentinel was what he needed
to shake off the pain just in time as another sentinel tried to blast him.. Gentle dodged the blast and
was able to grab the other sentinel by the legs and threw it at the other sentinel..
“We make a good team.. Rain!” Nehzno spouted out to Natalie..

Kari heard Vulcan's call and opened her mind to see what he was seeing. Where Cyclops should have been was an empty crater.
{{Vulcan, I'm using your eyes to help search for Cyclops}} she said in the group link as she tried to hunt for any sign of Scott. She was not only looking for her father-in-law's renewed body, but she was looking for his aura as well. {{I can see traces of his aura, but all this Orchis activity is muddying things a lot}}
As she continued to look, Kari took a breath before speaking to Jean. {{Are you sensing Scott at all, Jean? Your link was like no other I have ever seen. I'm praying these bigoted idiots haven't pulled him into that facility or out of the area totally. If they have Forge and Scott...}} Kari thought before her voice trailed off. She did not want to think about facing either man if they had been somehow transformed by Orchis. If they had subdued Naomi, the thought of them adding Forge or Cyclops to their crew was a bad one indeed.

Logan shook his head in disappointment when he saw Gabby hurry through the portal before
anyone could say anything.. He was not surprised by the move by Scout as she was a Logan..
He then looked over at his wife and his son Seth to see them all armored up..
Logan put both hands on Seth's shoulders and looked down at him.. “You sure you are up to this?.
It’s more than okay if you stay here with Daken and the students..” He said to Seth as Seth put up
one hand and popped an armored claw.. “Okay little man we are doing this..”
Logan’s clothes transformed into his Wolverine uniform and began walking towards Cosmos’s portal..
“Ro!. I am leading the charge!” Wolverine said as Storm gave the nod.. At the same time Karenza was
giving the team a telepathic download of the situation just before Logan leaped through the portal..
(SNIKT!!)
Logan popped his claws when he leaped through the portal.. Wolverine landed in a group of Orchis soldiers
that was trying to flank Cable and the others from the side.. Wolverine instantly began slashing at them
with full force as did Cair and Seth taking the unit by surprise..
((Oh shit)) were the only words that came to Cair's mind as the Howlett family unit dove into battle. She had to keep telling herself that Seth knew what he was doing. He had been part of the group that fought off Doctor Doom and Morgan Le Fay's zombie horde in Camelot. Hell, Tony Stark was even impressed by what Seth could do, and that was saying a lot.
She still hated that she and Logan had to watch their boy in fights like this. And Gabby. Laura. Daken. Yuna. Colin. Duncan. Hallia. None of their kids should have had to list "warrior" at the top of their resumes.
But here some of them stood once again, having to fight for their lives and those of the people they cared for.
Then Cair looked up and saw Kari hovering overhead. She knew the stories. Cair's grandmother had told them to her years ago. The Kinsellas and the MacFeorais went back centuries together, even if time and tide had pulled them apart. Cair to this day wondered how Kari had survived being tossed into battle at the tender age of 6, even if she had some of the best teachers in the world back in the day.
The Witchblade armor that she and Seth wore was born of the blade Carnwennan, the one King Arthur had used to slay the Black Witch. Equal parts history and mystery, the Witchblade protected them well, as it had many family members before them.
But there was more to it. Cair was sure of it. The timing to figure it all out had just not been right yet.
By now Andraste was holding a large battle axe as she dove into more Orchis soldiers and worked at dispatching them quickly. While she had not missed this sort of thing, she was at least calmed by the fact Logan was at her side in the middle of this disaster.
"Just like old times," she said softly as she watched Logan go to work. "The dance of war never ends."

By time she arrived, Naomi left a gash across his face from a punch be barely dodged, broke a hand he blocked another punch with, and dislocated both of his elbows. He found it hard to keep up with her even with his telekinesis, and especially since he didn't want to hurt her. "I'll be fine!" he replied to her with a sigh before using his TK to pop his joints back into place. With all of her might, Naomi tried to punch through Hisako's force field, and Ray could see she immediately broke her arm when she did it. "Naomi!" He shouted, but she didn't even seem to be phased by the pain at all, and her own nanite based healing factor quickly started to repair the damage. "Hmm..." Even though her arm wasn't finished healing, Armitage reached into her belt and pulled out her combat knife and leaped into the air to stab into the head of Armor's exoskeleton, using her own telekinesis to enhance her strength as she tried to break through. |

(I need to be in this Kurt. I hope you're not mad.) Dana said to Nightcrawler telepathically just before going through.
Organic metal formed armor around her body with a sword and shield. The shield had the Phoenix emblem on the front.
Suprema landed on the ground beside Havok, Laura and Ghost. She slammed her shield into a couple of man sized sentinels sending flying back into a few others. She then
spun around and sliced another across the chest.
“I hope you don’t mind that I drop in to help!”

A telekinetic field surrounded her body as Jean flew up higher.. She then drifted over to where
Vulcan was and looked down at the burned up crater that used to be Scott’s grave.. Jean felt the
essence of the Phoenix Force in seconds of her arrival in the area.. There was something else that
was left behind that Vulcan did not see.. A ball of telekinetic light that can only be seen in the astral
plane.. The last time she saw something like this was when Scott and her traveled to the future timeline
to raise their son.. They inhabited the bodies that were created for them by their daughter the Mother
Askani also known as Rachel their daughter.. Jean went by the name Redd Dayspring while Scott was
known as Slym Dayspring.. In that future they raised their son and fought with the Clan Askani against
the Empire of Apocalypse in a dystopian future.. One of the techniques that Mother Askani had taught
Redd and Cable was to create psychic balls to leave coded messages..
Jean descended down until the ball was right in front of her.. She reached out and touched the ball and
received the message.. In her head she saw a fifteen year old Cable.. The age he was when Jean and
Scott could not hold onto the bodies of Redd and Slym and was pulled back into their timeline once again..
{Hello Redd I am here and I have Slym with me alive and well.. After you guys left I had these nightmares
about the past and my future self.. I saw how the timeline was screwed up and that my future self screwed
it up when he could have fixed it.. No worries, I am here now to fix things.. I will see you soon after I fix the
timeline.. The moment that you received this the dampeners that were hiding Slym turned off and you will be
able to pick him up where I have him.. Please forgive me for doing all of this in this capacity but I can not afford
for this to go wrong.. Redd.. I love you and be safe!} As Jean watched the message she only allowed Karenza..
Cable and Rachel to see the message and no one else..
(Scott’s alive and I am getting him right now!.. Cosmos I need you to open a portal above Australia!} Jean broadcasted
psychically as Everly sent out what looked like a nebula-like cloud over to where Jean was and flew into the cloud and
disappeared..
Jean came out of the nebula looking cloud over Australia and flew down into a hidden base of the adult Cable that was in
the Outback..
The base was built into the side of a hill.. The doors slammed open as nothing was going to stand in her way of getting to
her husband.. Jean saw Cyclops inside of some sort of field at the back of the base.. “SCOTT!!” She yelled when she saw him..
The field around Cyclops turned off once Jean entered the base.. Both ran to one another and embraced in a kiss..
