"I am so happy for you!" Laura then turned to Rockslide..
"I am so happy for you Santo!" Laura then gave Rockslide a big hug.. She knew and was friends
with Santo longer than she knew her sister Rose.. Laura was still getting to know Rose while Santo
were on a team together and had many experiences with him..

Claire couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief once Jean told her. Kuja wasn't who they were looking for, but he was a familiar face. And even if they didn't have an idea about what was going on, the two of them together was hopefully a good sign. If Naomi was in danger, having someone like Kuja as backup was a good thing. "I just hope the two of them are okay," she said to both Rachel and Jean. The fact that it took the three of them to even reach Kuja was a mystery enough. The fact they couldn't stay connected to him for long did make her worry. Something major was going on, and she didn't like it. "I can't say it makes me feel too good, but if she's with Kuja or if he's looking for her, then I feel a little better knowing she has someone watching her back. Hopefully, we can track both of them. Thank you." Claire then gave both Jean and Rachel a hug.
it took the three of us just to reach Kuja and then shut down.. Something is not right.." Jean
said in response as Rachel nodded in agreement..
"Claire would you like to join us at our table?"The look on Claire's face showed that she agreed with Jean. Something wasn't right. She heard the other X-Men talk about some other weird things going on during their celebrations that they needed to investigate further, and part of her believed that whatever was going on with Kuja and Naomi had to be connected. She had a gut feeling, and wished she could use the Phoenix right now to get a better idea. But for the next good while, those days were behind her. She then smiled and nodded to Jean at the invite. "Sure, I'd love to join you," She said before following Rachel and Jean. |

Ray couldn't help but smile at the sudden turn of events as Rose and Santo moving their relationship forward. He even stood up in excitement over the news."Hell yeah Santo!" Ray said with a cheer and a grin. Ray couldn't help but think about how much they've all grown up since they all met ages ago. Being in relationships was probably the furthest thing on their minds sometimes, and here Rockslide was about to get married.
"Remind me to get the two of you a gift when we get back topside!" Ray couldn't help but be amazed that he wouldn't even be here to see this if he hadn't bumped into everyone at a night club.

Marcela hadn't paid much attention to the festivities since the weddings actually started, and she didn't bother with the food much once all of that was over. Instead, she spent most of the time reading through the Askani book she found. She knew who it was meant for, but for now, she wanted to pick up some stuff that she hadn't known. She also couldn't help but wonder if she knew about any of this in her past life, but those memories weren't hers to have just yet.
But she had a feeling that she was supposed to use this stuff, somehow.
Eventually, Marcela wandered over near a table and pulled up a chair. "Anyone sitting here? I hope not," She asked before she realized that she was sitting close to Karenza. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was you. You've come up a few times in this book. It's all very interesting," She said as she tapped the Book of Askani.

"It is so good to be home again," Kari said to Ororo before sitting down, and one of the newcomers sat in the chair next to Kari. Her eyes closed shut briefly as the young woman with the blue hair spoke to her, but they snapped open as soon as she felt Branan's Book of the Askani in the woman's hands. The woman's energy felt familiar, but Kari still had a hard time placing it because of the aura radiating off the book.
"No, this seat is free," Kari said quietly before introducing herself. "Kari Summers," she added as she extended her hand. "Welcome to today's celebration. I'm afraid I didn't catch your name? And where did you find that book? It belongs to one of my brothers. Belonged. It still seems impossible that he's gone."
Kari felt Nathan's concern as she thought of Branan, but she quickly pushed it aside. She also noticed the look in Scarlett's eyes when she saw the book. Something odd was going on, but Kari had no idea how any of this was going to play out. She rarely called on her precognition, and she wasn't going to do so at the moment.

"Happy Thanksgiving Sharia.. My heart sings with the blessing of your presence at our
table and our lives.." Saber said as he reached out held his daughters hand for a moment
before he pulled a bag from his cloak.. Saber reached out and pulled out a magic Tarot
deck that he created himself..
"So my love.. Let's see what the cards say about your future and see what name comes
to mind.." Saber said as he knocked both sides of the deck and then blew on it before
shuffling the deck.. As he shuffled the deck he went into a prayer but to everyone it
sounded like he was whispering to himself.. Then suddenly a card flew out of the deck
and landed right in front of Betsy.. Both Sharia and Betsy looked down at the card in
shock.. The card was the (QUEEN OF SWORDS) But the queen in the picture of the card
was of Betsy dressed in a Captain Britain uniform.. "It looks like your going to be the new Captain Britain." Saber said as Brian Braddock
looked over and shock as another card flew out of the deck and landed in front of him..
The card was the (King of Swords) But Brian was in a different uniform that was a very
close to the Captain Britain uniform.. He recognized the sword that was in his hands as
the (Sword of might).. The card whispered the name (Captain Avalon)..  Brian stood quietly behind Saber as the cards flew from the deck. He didn't know what to make of this change that he saw with his own two eyes.
Was this part of why they were there? Change was on the horizon. Brian knew that. But this was not some simple passing of the torch. The ways of Otherworld were hard to explain in the best of times, but this seemed to be beyond all that.
Brian looked at Betsy and then at Saber before pulling chairs out for Meggan and Maggie. "It seems Britain will soon have a new champion," he said softly to his wife. "Sister dear, what Saber has shown us must be part of the greater change coming for all mutants. I pray this change, whatever it might be, brings out the better nature in the world, but I fear the world is not ready for what is to come."

"Alex my name sake!" Havok said as he walked over and gave Major X a hug. Vulcan was also with him.
"So does anyone know where Jean and Rachel are at? They seem to disappeared." He said as he looked all around again.
"I am sure this is very hard for her with Scott passing away. Jean returns and we loose Scott it really sucks." Alex said as he looked
over to see his father Corsair sitting at the Hellfire table.
Gabriel.. In my world we did not have many celebrations like this.." The Major said as he
then turned to Scarlett..
"Thank you for letting me know about Cass.. So how are you doing today?" He asked as
he sat down beside her.. "I'm a little frazzled," Scarlett said to Alexander as she tried not to look at the Book of the Askani that was suddenly back in play. "But it's not anything that a minute to take a breath can't cure. I was trying to help one of our nieces get accustomed to all this," Scarlett continued as she looked around to see where Mealla had wandered off to. She was near Exodus, so Scarlett breathed as tiny sigh of relief. "OK, she's with that group near Exodus. I can calm down now. I'll introduce you to Mealla later. She is our brother Ben's daughter, and she seems to be carrying the weight of her home world on her shoulders. First we celebrate. I'm so glad you are here with us," Scarlett added as she took a drink of water from the glass near her place setting. "You and all your siblings. And all our extended family," she said as she waved to their Uncle Gabriel.
Scarlett tried to remember the last time she had actually felt a part of anything like this, and she really could not place it at all. It could have made her sad, but it made her more determined to keep this close to her forever.
"This is one time I am glad I am not a vegetarian," Scarlett said as she looked at the turkey and trimmings set out on the table. "And who the heck is that guy? He looks like that guy who used to be in One Direction. Harry something. Maybe he is a mutant, too?" Scarlett chuckled as she looked at Alexander and smiled. "What can I get you? This spread looks amazing!" |

"It took him long enough," Axl grumbled as he looked off into the crowd and saw Harry. That's all the young man ever wanted to be called most of the time. It drove Axl batty at times.
"Sorry," he said to Mystique as he set down his Champagne glass. "I should have warned you about him," he said as he pointed to the young man wandering over to them. "One of my latest prodigies. The only problem he has is that everyone thinks he is Harry Styles. He isn't. Trust me. But they could be twins."
"Axl!" Harry shouted as he ran over. "You are right. They all do think I'm him. I really am his doppelganger!"
"Harry Sutton, this is Mystique. Mystique, this is Harry. Pain in my arse, but the best damned guitarist of his generation that will allow me to rep him," Axl said with a wink. "But damned shy on what his power set is."
"Maybe I'm just a charmer," Harry said with a wink as extended his hand to Mystique. "But I'm sure that skill won't work well around you, am I right?"

Kendra looked at Aerfen, and she could tell her Ma's cousin wanted to crawl into the wall at the moment. "Aerfen, it's no biggie. Trust me," she said as she gave her relative a hug. "And as for you," Kendra said as she wrapped her arms around Jono, "the past is the past. Period. I've done far worse."
As she looked at everyone, Kendra wanted to just forget what had been said about Sugar Kane and her time around Jono. Kendra was with Aidan then, but she and Jono used to talk a lot as pals. She knew he was being used by the pop star, and deep down, she knew he understood that, too. She was just happy that crazy was nowhere near the team now.
"Look, Monet, I understand that the Gen X group is tight. And I get that you want only the best for Jono. You are not being weird. We all have our support systems. I have no qualms about it at all. I promise," Kendra said as she smiled at the teammates who always had Jono's back.
"No one who claims the Clans MacFeorais or DalCais as family can rightly say they do not understand such bonds," Aerfen said as she took another sip of her cacao. "I'm just sorry my banter led to all this drama. Maybe I should wander back to my brother..."
"Aerfen, nope. Not having that," Kendra said as she motioned for her to join the ever-increasing table. "Sit with us. Please. I don't think you've ever gotten to talk to anyone here outside the family. It might be good to spread your wings. Who knows? Maybe you'll find a place with the team? If Cousin Rhiannon could be here the last time, why not you?"
Kendra remembered when Rhiannon showed up and hung around with the crew that followed Dante Walker, D and Alucard. Having Aerfen here could not be any crazier than that!
"And it looks like we have another wedding!" Kendra spouted as she turned to see Santo and Rose with Kurt. "Wow!"
Kendra grabbed Jono's hand and smiled. ((This day keeps getting crazier, but in a good way)) she thought as she watched the ceremony unfolding.

"I am so happy to be here with you, babe," Jordan said as she kissed Berto in return. "This is amazing. All the people. The food. The music. It makes me so happy that everyone here is so happy. I know I sound super weird. But we needed this. A time to celebrate. A time to learn about each other beyond our usual teams. It's just so much fun!"
Jordan wished her sister Chelsea could have joined them, but she was being super secretive about things in her life at the moment, and Jordan didn't want to pry too much. Then she noticed the guy walking over to Axl and Mystique.
"Babe, that guy. The one near Axl. Looks like Harry Styles," Jordan said softly as she turned back to the group around them. "He was where I was. I guess when Siofra MacFeorais burned the place down that he escaped, too. Good. He's a nice guy. I just hope he doesn't freak out if he sees me or Scarlett. Things in that hospital got a little tense at times."
Jordan wrapped her arms around Berto again and sighed as she watched Santo and Rose. "I didn't see that coming, but I am so happy for them!"
