Aerfen took a deep breath as she walked toward Kendra, Jono and Sean. Her mental health had been an issue since the death of her great love, a demon who had been taken from her much too soon. She was not out to start a great romance. She just wanted to feel like she was not some charity case and that she might actually have a bit of fun if allowed to go "off the leash" for a bit.
"Do I smell cacao?" she asked as she walked over.
"Jono, Sean, this is one of Ma's cousins, Aerfen DalCais," Kendra said as Aerfen slightly curtsied to both men. "Aerfen, you certainly did. Would you like a cup?"
"I would adore one," Aerfen replied as she looked over at Sean and smiled. "Thank you, my dear Kendra. Cassidy Keep, in County Mayo, correct?" she asked Sean as she took the cup in her hands. "I think that's what Kari said at least. Mayo is truly beautiful. I don't get there often enough."
Aerfen turned and smiled at Jono as she kept sipping her drink. "Kari has told me a lot about you as well. From London, right? Did you ever go to shows at Rayners Hotel? I saw Dr. Feelgood there once a very long time ago!"
time. That was a crazy time and was way out of my comfort zone being in that world with her. I
am bloody glad to leave that relationship behind.. Kendra is my soul mate and the both of us easily
can slip into an old pub to watch a loco punk band and be satisfied like the crazy simple sods that
we are.} Jono said as he put his arm around Kendra..
taking wedding photos and cutting the cake.. Monet and Duskk were not far behind..
"Oh God Kendra I am glad you came into his life.. That girl was nothing but trouble!" |

Paige said as Jubilee and Gallion chuckled..
"Anyway here is Shogo.." Paige hands Shogo over to Jubilee..

Even Monet laughed when she heard the name Surgah Kane when Duskk and her came to the table together.
"Jono the one person who does not like any attention dating a pop star was not going to last. He was always on the television and all
over social media getting into huge arguments with the press." Monet said as Duskk and her took their seats.
"Let's change the conversation, Jono look's like he wants to crawl out of his skin and I don't blame him one bit."

"I remember all that!" Quentin said as Everly and him were next to show up at the table.
"I forgot about Surgah Kane as did the world. So let's find a better conversation like how good this meal is going to be or how beautiful
my wife looks in her dress and how I am the luckiest bastard in the world!" Quentin said as he pulled a chair out for Everly to sit down.

"I already feel so blessed to have a Thanksgiving with my spirit sister once again.. Thank the
Goddess.." Storm said as she embraced Karenza in a big warm hug with ghost at her side..
"Thank you for having us.." Ororo turned to see both Major X and Coda walking over to join
them.. It was surreal to see them together.. Storm was still getting to know her son with Cable
from an alternate earth..
"I am a bit nervous meeting your kids." Ghost whispered to Storm as Major X and Coda arrived at the table.

"Alex my name sake!" Havok said as he walked over and gave Major X a hug. Vulcan was also with him.
"So does anyone know where Jean and Rachel are at? They seem to disappeared." He said as he looked all around again.
"I am sure this is very hard for her with Scott passing away. Jean returns and we loose Scott it really sucks." Alex said as he looked
over to see his father Corsair sitting at the Hellfire table.

"It was so much fun dancing with you!" Xian said to Roslea as they walked together..
"I know you have a big family but I do invite you to join me at my table.. I made a promise to
join my team which is my family.. It's been a while that most of us have been together for the
holidays.. I understand if you don't but I just wanted to invite you just incase.." Karma felt a
little awkward.. It had been a long time since she had liked anyone as much as she liked Roslea..
It also been a long time she had been on a date or any relationship.. So she felt out of her depth
a bit.. "As long as we are in the same place, I am with my family," Roslea said to Xian as they went to sit with the New Mutants group. "And Kai, Thom and Kendra are sitting at this table, so it is all good. I have not taken part in an American Thanksgiving before. I missed out on the last one with the X-Men. I'm glad I am getting to share this one with you, Xian."
Roslea turned for a moment to see people crowding around Ewan and Jessie as the exchanged rings. "That doesn't surprise me at all," Roslea said as she leaned in closer to Xian. "I hope they will be as happy on their wedding day as the couples are today. Maybe that one will be back home in Ireland, and you can join me for that celebration then. I'd like that."
A whoop came from Roslea's younger brother Donal as he ran over to give his congratulations to Ewan and Jessie. "I'll wait. The mob that is my family will swallow them up and start planning everything. My Auntie Fachtna, my mother's sister, thinks of herself as the wedding expert of the clan."
Roslea was very happy to be with Xian and the others at their table. "I like the dynamic of this group here. Thank you for asking me to join you."

(That is a good idea Mom!) Rachel responded as she carefully reached out her mind and gathered the
static telepathic energy and surround the three of them with it like a cloud of smoke that circled them
in a spiral..Once the energy began to surround them, Claire took Rachel and Jean's hands as the three of them combined their powers to spread out across the planet with psychic radar in order to find Naomi. With their help, it was easier than expected to hide themselves from Ray, but they were still careful to move in such a way that he wouldn't notice. As they continued to dig across the planet for signs of Naomi, they didn't get much. But after awhile, the image of some shadowy figures started to form in their mind like they were getting close And for a split second, they were able to see one person clearly before there was a buzzing feeling that caused the three of them to break their link. Claire groaned for just a moment as she rubbed her head before she looked at Rachel and Jean in confusion. "...Was that Kuja? Did we just see Kuja?""It was absolutely him!" Jean spouted out as she stumbled back and placed her hands on her head.
Rachel reached out and put her arm around her mother to keep her steady..
"I felt something in his thoughts.. It was vague but he was thinking of Naomi.. That was all I got before
we came out of our link." Jean explained..
Claire couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief once Jean told her. Kuja wasn't who they were looking for, but he was a familiar face. And even if they didn't have an idea about what was going on, the two of them together was hopefully a good sign. If Naomi was in danger, having someone like Kuja as backup was a good thing. "I just hope the two of them are okay," she said to both Rachel and Jean. The fact that it took the three of them to even reach Kuja was a mystery enough. The fact they couldn't stay connected to him for long did make her worry. Something major was going on, and she didn't like it. "I can't say it makes me feel too good, but if she's with Kuja or if he's looking for her, then I feel a little better knowing she has someone watching her back. Hopefully, we can track both of them. Thank you." Claire then gave both Jean and Rachel a hug. |

"Looks like you have an admirer," Allen said to Brian as he scanned the crowd, watching everyone gather at the tables for a meal.
"I noticed awhile ago," Brian quickly replied as he and Allen rose their drinks up toward Aradia Priest. "She's one of Priest's children, Aradia. Unlike her father, I don't have a full breakdown. She hasn't been nearly as high profile as he has over the years."
"You sure like to stalk everyone."
"She's probably doing the same. Because of her father or because she's curious herself, I don't know yet. I'm sure we'll find out either way soon enough." He said before he finished off his drink.
"I hope it's not as complicated as everything you're involved in turns out to be. There's too much subterfuge and espionage going on as it is. You're all giving me a migraine."

"I think you are making a mistake not wandering over and talking to the man," Faith said as she looked at her sister Aradia and giggled a bit. "What harm could it do?"
"Little sister, I don't think I am up to making small talk and being flirty for a purpose just yet," Aradia replied as she finished her wine and set the glass down on a table next to where they were sitting. "I'd like to know a bit more before I start grilling the man and scaring him off. Daddy would likely get quite cross if I did."
"Are you sure it isn't because you think you're rusty?" Faith asked as she waved her hand and made the mocktail in her glass fill to the top again. "When was the last time you talked to a guy anyway? I mean about more than business things? Was it Aero?"
Faith could see Aradia set her jaw as the name of her sister's last steady boyfriend crossed the younger woman's lips.
"It isn't a crime to stay single," Aradia noted as she glanced away from her sister. "I really am only interested in protecting Daddy's back right now."
"Fine. I won't press," Faith added as she smiled at Brian and Allen. "But I don't think they bite, either. And better you talking to them than Graeme getting all snoopy."

Kari hugged Ororo and then turned to see Alexander and Jackson joining the group at the table. Scarlett was making her way back around to the group as well, and Kari noticed that her daughter was a bit jumpier than the last time she saw her. {{Scarlett? What happened?}} Kari asked before she was mentally waved off. {{If you need to talk...}}
{{Nope. Not now anyway}} Scarlett said as she came over and stood near her brother. "Cass will be sitting with the New Mutants crew, I think. I'll try to get her over here later, bro," she said as she looked up at Major X.
"It is good to be sharing another holiday with you as well, Ororo," Kari said as she grabbed Storm's hands. "Heaven knows we have all worked hard for this. I just hope that whatever happens next makes more days like this easier to come by."
Kari smiled as she looked up at her husband. With all that was ahead of them, she wanted Nathan to have the best memories possible of this day. "And before anyone asks, I'm hoping Gabby and Seth can open that box from my friend Nick soon. He would have joined us, but Nick and his wife are a bit busy this time of year. I wonder how many people would be stunned to learn Santa Claus is a mutant."

to their tables to begin their Thanksgiving feast.. "I think my family can live without me being at the same table," Thom said as he walked with Rahne to the New Mutants' table and pulled out her chair for her. "And it isn't like we aren't all in the same place anyway. To be honest, because I'm from another reality, I make a few of them a bit antsy. The extended family, I mean. I'm a Christian like my father, and some of the older family members get a bit self conscious about offending me. I keep telling them to relax, but sometimes they still stand on ceremony. It's a little weird."
Thom looked to see where his Uncle Lucian was, and the man was holding court with some of the people near the Hellfire court members. "That's...odd. My Uncle Lucian never said he knew anyone in the Hellfire membership. I'll ask him later. What are you hungry for, Rahne?" |

Rose and Jack had been off in their own little world amongst everyone else but Rose smiled when she was mentally filled in on what was happening and turned to see the engagement rings being exchanged.
"Well I think that's our cue." She said walking over and embracing her brother and soon to be sister in law. "I am so happy for the both of you. It makes me happy beyond words to see you two take the next step. "

With Kitty.. Uh.. Kate as the Red Queen has Ye more opened minded about what the direction it is
going.. A lot of us have figured out the new direction or already working in the background but Ye
is one of the few that is in the dark about it all.." Rahne said as she sat down..
"Thank Ye.. I'm a Catholic so understand where ye is coming from with your family.. My mutant
family did the same thing for a while.." She said as Thom sat down beside her and both of them
grabbed a plate..
"My enhanced smell has been driving Ye crazy.." Rahne laughed.. "The turkey and Bishop's gravy
