He's managed to go toe to toe with superhuman individuals such as Spider-Man and keep up with his strength and speed. Should multiple superhumans enter the field, his body will default to a base, low level superhuman status. Despite becoming superhuman like those within his field, he's actually unable to lift the weights that they do. While he may punch hard like Spider-Man, he's unable to lift up a car like Spider-Man.

The suit is insulated, making it perfect for use in a variety of environments, from deserts to colder, sub-arctic environments. The soles of his boots are made from Wakandan Vibranium, not only allowing him to move silently, but also absorb the shock from falls without injuring himself. The suit incorporates technology similar to the exoskeletons and prototype cyber-enhanced combat suits produced by Nathan Pliskin and Weapon Plus, though only because the schematics were stolen from a dummy subsidiary of Williams Industries. The technology was designed by Darkwing himself.
Weapon Cache: Darkwing uses a variety of weapons, carried within his combat waist harness. The items contained vary on the situation, though he tends to carry a default sock.
WEAKNESSES:
Darkwing is a normal human and has all human weaknesses.
History: Son of the billionaire industrialist Theodore Williams and Maegan Williams, Brian grew up with a privileged lifestyle. It was determined early on that Brian possessed remarkable intelligence by the age of 7, showing that he was one of the smartest children in the world. His family were known associates of the Starks, despite the owners of both businesses were direct competitors of each other, and the the Frost family. Once Theodore became inducted into the Hellfire Club, the list of wealthy, influential associates quickly grew, from the Shaw's and the Worthingtons. Growing up, Brian maintained a crush on Emma Frost, though he never managed to express these feelings.
Unfortunately, his parents were killed in a car crash when he was nine years old. At first, the evidence pointed toward an accident, but further investigation eventually proved that the act was murder. The person responsible was eventually apprehended, but he too died before the police could question him, leading many to believe that there was a conspiracy that involved killing Brian's parents, though no one was able to pin the crime on any specific person or organization. With all of the people the Williams' were connected to, various conspiracy theories came about. With no surviving relatives, Brian was adopted by Allen Pennyworth, a retired special forces soldier in the British military turned butler, as per his own father's dying wish.
Filled with grief and rage, Allen began to teach Brian self defense as an outlet for his rage, though by that time, Brian had already settled on purging the world of the evil and corruption that killed his parents. And through Allen's initial training, Brian realized that he could do it through force. The next few years, Brian focused on studying and training his body to be the perfect weapon. He graduated high school by the age of 12 and floated around the world, enrolling to prestigious schools around the world while training with various martial artists. From Wakanda to Japan, Brian cris-crossed the planet, picking up on as many bits of knowledge as he possibly could. His strong thirst for knowledge caused Brian, despite the advise of Allen, to entrench himself within the underworld. Most notably, Brian received training from the Japanese ninja clans The Hand and the Shinto Black Cult. And through the Black Cult, Weapon Plus.
Though he never was directly involved in Weapon Plus, he did receive training from some of their operatives. After The Hand, he moved on to The Caste to receive training from Daredevil's own mentor, Stick, before he returned to the United States after his 18th's birthday. Now an adult, Brian fully inherited his familiy's vast wealth as well as his father's membership to the Hellfire Club, though his status as a member wouldn't be used until years later. Despite attempting to keep the details of his globetrotting a secret, a select few within the US government did pick up on his acts. In turn, The Boss, a covert agent and hero from World War II, showed up on Brian's doorstep to "investigate" him. The investigation evolved into a mentorship from The Boss, where she spent the next three years training Brian in the techniques she'd picked up over the decades of her life. And then, she disappeared with no warning. Later investigation into what the government was doing while watching Brian turned up nothing, as all traces of information had been destroyed.
With the knowledge he gained over the years, Brian moved to New York City, reinvented himself as the masked vigilante Darkwing and bought majority ownership in Williams Enterprises, though he left the majority of the day to day operations up to the COO and board of directors. As Darkwing, he was exposed to the thick underbelly of the criminal underworld and after a near death experience, took time off to re-think his position in the world and motivation behind his acts. Eventually, he returned to vigilantism and adopted more aggressive tactics that put him at odds with other superheroes. Early on in his career, he came across a soldier named Snake while investigating a mob organization with terrorist ties. The two came into conflict with one another, assuming that they were both working for those they hunted. Almost immediately, they picked up on their similar fighting tactics and discovered their mutual ties to the woman known as The Boss. Once they realized they were on the same side, they worked together to disable the mob and their terrorist backers overseas.
Unfortunately for Darkwing, Snake continued to follow him after the completion of the mission and eventually found out about his double life as billionaire Brian Williams. Snake is one of the few people in the world that is aware of Darkwing's true indentity, and used that knowledge to drop in on the man from time to time. His success as a superhero got to the point where he was a candidate for The Avengers and their many incarnations, but his attitude and his hesitation for teamwork lead to that idea being scrapped.
As years passed and resourced piled up, Darkwing set out to investigate the murder of his parents and found that there were ties to Roxxon Oil and their PMC subsidiaries. And from there, he traced things back to Weapon Plus. Beyond that, nothing else was determined. He continued to look into Weapon Plus over the years, but was unable to find out anything solid. Midway through his career, Darkwing used his status to infiltrate the Hellfire Club after discovering connections to the criminal underworld and has effectively become a thorn in the side of the organization ever since. Like many heroes, Darkwing opposed the Superhuman Registration Act both as his superhero persona and Brian Williams. He came to blows with Iron Man and his Spider-Man, but managed to allude capture. He then broke into Iron Man's database and used his own technology against him and covertly supplied the various heroes opposed to the Registration Act, though he never directly took part in the Civil War, deeming it a waste of time and resources.
After the event, Darkwing discovered that technology developed by him over the years had been hacked from databases of dummy corporations he developed to manufacture devices he used during his fight on crime. He eventually traced this back to Weapon Plus, which somehow developed a lead that connected Weapon Plus to the X-Men and a connection to the Hellfire Club. He attempted to investigate the X-Men, but the destruction of their base of operations in Westchester put a damper on those plans. Williams Enterprises was then commissioned to donate money to the cleanup and rebuilding process on the land where Xavier's institute once stood with the hopes that Darkwing could find anything that was left behind in order to aid him in his search.

- Peak Human Strength: Darkwing possesses the pinnacle physical strength of a human man of his particular age, height, and build that engages in intense regular exercise. He possesses the peak level of strength a human can reach without being considered superhuman. He's capable of lifting at least 800 lbs.
- Peak Human Stamina: Darkwing is able to exert himself at peak capacity for at least an hour before fatigue begins to slow him down. The length of time is unknown, and seems to fluctuate. It's also dependent on the damage he sustains during combat.
- Peak Human Agility: His natural agility, balance, and bodily coordination are superior to those of any Olympic athlete that has ever competed, and is agile as it is humanly possible.
- Peak Human Speed: He could run at speeds comparable to the finest competing athletes. He's capable of reaching a running speed of 28 miles per hour, which is the fastest known speed a non-superhuman has been known to run.
- Peak Human Reflexes: Darkwing's reflexes are honed to such a degree that he has caught one of Hawkeye's arrows in mid flight when he tried to shoot him, and even managed to catch Captain America's shield.
- Peak Human Senses: His five senses are enhanced and function at peak of human perfection. His senses of hearing and touch are remarkable. Sounds most wouldn't pick up on, he'd notice, and he's practically always aware of things that are touching him. It's possible that if he practiced enough, he could hone his senses to be comparable to Daredevil's.
Strength level: Darkwing possesses peak human strength of a man of his age, height, and build who engages in intensive regular exercise. Utilizing his mutant power, he's capable of of, at minimum, Class 2 strength and Class 20 strength at maximum.

WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT:
Ballistic Combat Hardsuit Mk. V: Lightly armored, skintight bodysuit, reinforced at the knees, elbows, ankles, and wrists in order to keep the joints stable. The suit itself is a mixture of kevlar, carbon nanotube fibers, and prototype dragon skin bulletproof body armor, providing protection against gunfire while allowing heightened mobility. The mask and cape are made of similar materials. The entire suit is heat, shock, and fire resistant, as well as coupled with a rebreather to act as a wet suit.
- CDC-103ZJ9---Computer And Communication: The wiring within the suit allows Darkwing to access to a wide range of communication systems and radio frequencies, as well as uplinking to computer networks to view data, which is displayed in the suit's HUD. The suit is also capable of collecting various amounts of data in real time, from anything to physical stats on a specific person or object to combat data, and directly uploaded to the network within his base of operations. Anything collected can be uploaded to any computer network via access to his own network.
- SHK-46JW4---Defensive System: The combat suit, specifically the mask, is outfitted with a defense countermeasure that produces a significant electric shock to anyone who attempts to remove his mask. The suit is capable of electric shock five times before needing a recharge, and can only be bypassed by the gloves of the suit while the system is engaged. Should he be rendered unconscious for a period longer than 10 minutes, the suit will discharge milder current into his body in order to stir him back to consciousness. A secondary system developed after an encounter with the Rhino, the suit is capable of generating an electromagnetic force field around his body as a shock absorber against those with great superhuman strength. The field is capable of receiving multiple blows from the likes of Rhino and might even be able to withstand a strike from the Hulk. The downside that it only has a single charge. Once the field goes down, it remains inactive for at least 24 hours.
- PMX-Z929---Adaptive Defense: The base technology was stolen from Tony Stark's own mainframe. Thanks to the Iron Spider armor, Iron Man was able to effectively reverse engineer Spider-Man's Spider Sense, allowing his suit to send out false readings in order to keep Spider-Man from picking up on signs of danger, Darkwing's suit is capable of doing the same, which came in handy during his fight with Spider-Man. Going a step further, he improved on the design, allowing him to fool precogs entirely. As long as the suit produces the signal, his movements are unable to be read by short term precognition.
- SZ-SCPE76lO5---Audio and Visual System: A variety of sensors within the suits mask enable audio recording and enhancement. Darkwing is capable of recording any sound around him within 40 feet of his person, as well as enhancing sounds nearly inaudible to the average person. The audio system, in conjunction with his personal network, is also capable of vocal recognition. This experimental scope, located in the center of the face mask, is connected to the eye holes, and can act as bonoculars, night vision goggles, and thermal goggles. Night vision is done by creating its own light within the lenses of the mask. Because of this, night vision doesn't take on an abnormal tint like it does with the standard equipment, allowing the world to be seen in muted color, as if it were dusk or dawn. The suit is also capable of scanning a variety of energy patterns, from gamma radiation to mystical energy, and match them with information contained in Darkwing's database. High resolution audio, video, and picture capturing is available and is stored within a solid state contained on the suit's belt.
- 10112Xz---Regeneration/Life Support: A series of nanotubes within the suit carry the formula for the hypospray the X-Men commonly use to treat injuries. In the event of an injury that would require medical treatment, the suit will inject the regenerative serum into his body. The serum isn't capable of fully healing him from injuries, but will keep him in fighting condition until he can get proper medical treatment.
- TMP12---Power Dampening: Darkwing has a control mechanism built into his suit to dampen and disable his mutant powers for specific instances where his powers may prove to be a liability, such as mind control. This can also be used to disguise the fact that he is a mutant from certain scanners.
Weapon Cache: Darkwing uses a variety of weapons, carried within his combat waist harness. The items contained vary on the situation, though he tends to carry a default sock.
- Shuriken
- Bolas
- Handcuffs
- Electronic Trackers
- Zip Line Launcher
- Grapple Line
- Miniature Flashlight
- Miniature Cutting Torch
- Smoke Pellet Grenades
- Flashbang Pellet Grenades
- Thermate Pellet Grenades
- Webshooter
Darkwing's stock is usually limited, forcing him to replenish his weaponry with a variety of caches he has located across the various northeastern US cities he operates in. Any time he operates outside of the United States, Darkwing depends on low orbit drops, and in extreme cases, experimental teleportation technology. He tends to avoid the latter due to the energy spikes potentially giving away his location. Given his position in the superhero community and due to both superhuman Civil Wars, the conflict between the X-Men and the Avengers, and the X-Men against the Inhumans, many of his tools were created for the sole purpose of combating other superheroes, from Iron Man to Daredevil, and some of his more advanced gear may be patterned off of their equipment.

Upon finding no real foul play, he departed, though he came to their aid in instances involving their mutual target in Weapon Plus as well as saving the mutant messiah Hope Summers. There have only been casual interactions since, with most of his face to face encounters coming out of his public life as Brian Williams in social gatherings with the more affluent and wealthier members of the team.
The future of mutantkind will intersect with both the Darkwing and Brian Williams personas, and secret identities might not be secret for long.
