Two more arrivals had appeared at the already massive turn out on Atlantis but in this case it was an event that was going to change everything. They were under guard waiting for an escort to where the gathering was happening.
For Peggy this was a strange circumstance but nothing about her life recently had been considered normal. She had been randomly plucked from her own reality and transplanted here. At this point each step was into an uncharted world.
As the two stood Aspen the daughter of Namor and Crystal as well as general to the Atlantean army approached them.
"Welcome the two of you. I apologize for the minor wait but with all the guests we have had to push security just a little more. Please allow me to escort you to where everyone is." The princess said as she led the two to where everyone was.
"Well this is a strange place to end up in wouldn't you say Agent Coulson?" She said trying to sound professional for the moment. "Nothing surprises me anymore, Captain Carter," Coulson replied as he nodded to her and then looked at Aspen. "Thank you and the royal court for your gracious welcome to your home. It is my first time in Atlantis, and I must say, it certainly is above and beyond its description."
Coulson and Carter followed Aspen into the main part of the dome, and Coulson could not help but chuckle as he saw many familiar faces among the crowd of X-Men and their allies.
"I think that corner is where you will want to go in a bit, Captain," Coulson said as he pointed to the area where the Summers family was holding court. "The rumors were apparently true. While that might not be the exact Kari MacOrish you knew, she is likely the one holding your friend's memories now. I don't understand how it works, but that's how it was explained to me. And when Wolverine makes his appearance, he might be someone to check in with as well. I'm guessing he is busy with wedding business."
Coulson then turned to see where Domino was located. He nodded in her direction and then waved to her. He'd seek Domino out once Captain Carter felt a bit more at ease among the X-Men.
For her that was a welcomed feeling to say the least.
"Oh I'm sure I'll be able to catch up with everyone I have a connection to here Coulson. In fact one would say it's already started."
She then reached out to Kari through their newly re opened connection.
("Hello old friend..Its been a while.")She said with a smile as the trio continued to walk. |

Kari pulled away from both her families as she looked out into the crowd and saw a familiar face--a face familiar to a part of her, at least.
Before she had been found cocooned in the vault, Kari had been having more and more visions and memory floods from the parts of her that Merlin had scattered to the four winds so damned long ago. So many parts of her still alive and well in corners of the multiverse that few knew much about, and others who had paid the ultimate price and now were part of her once again.
The part of her that knew this Margaret Carter suddenly "woke up" as she heard her old friend's voice. Kari was going to have to do her best to sift through the memories that danced in so many parts of her mind and find the right ones--the ones that could, hopefully, give this Peggy a bit of closure if what happened between their last meeting and today had not been brought to an acceptable ending already.
{{I'm guessing Agent Coulson has done his best to explain the insanity that revolves around me, Peggy}} Kari said telepathically as she looked to where Aspen was bringing in Peggy and her companion. {{I'll do my best to fill in any blanks I can. I'll get over to you shortly}}
All Kari could bring to the fore at the moment was the last time her "shard" had seen Captain Carter. That world's Red Skull was trying to unleash what he called Hydra's Champion on their world--an oversized octopus that threatened to take over that dimension. Their Steve Rogers manned some mech unit, but he was unable to stop the damned beast, so Peggy, the one who had been given the Super Solider serum after Steve had been shot the day he was supposed to become Captain America, went after the tentacled menace and shoved it back through the portal from which it had emerged. Peggy was sucked into that dimension and was never heard from again until seemingly today.
"Nathan, another one of the time-tossed parts of my life just walked into the room," she said as she motioned to Carter and Coulson. "I'll head over there now and loop you in," she said as she kissed Nathan on the cheek before heading over to the new arrivals.

"Oh, I have no doubt it will be like Old Home Week soon enough," Coulson replied to Carter as he saw Karenza walking over. He knew about telepathic connections with the mutant and mystic communities, so he wasn't shocked by this turn of events.
He was a little more shocked to see Piper MacLeod with two small children in tow. He and Piper had formed a working relationship of sorts a few years ago when he was on a mission in the Portland area. She had healed him after he had been jumped by a couple of Hydra wannabes, and he had thrown some business to her restaurant to thank her. He still laughed when he thought about how Piper found him behind a Dumpster when she was tossing out trash from her restaurant. He waved in her general direction as what he guessed was her daughter ran to Ein Hayabusa. Then he saw Hayley MacFeorais taking a small boy off Piper's hands. Coulson finally saw the rest of the group that Piper affectionately called The Scoobies nearby. He'd chat with her later to see what was going on with that crew.
"If you want to have some privacy to chat with Kari, perhaps Aspen can take me to meet some of the members of the Atlantean Court? Or I could just go grab a cup of coffee," Coulson joked as he looked at all the food the X-Men had out for this first part of the celebration.

Axl was more than happy to flip the bird at Creed. The man was a maniac with no common sense when it came to living among the masses. "He would love nothing more than to screw this up for everyone," Axl said to Mystique as they kept moving away from Sabretooth, "and then toss Wolverine in an active volcano to make the day so much more memorable. I'm surprised you haven't had to slam him between the eyes with a 2 by 4 at least once in your lifetime."
As Axl looked back toward Maverick, Hollywood and Lu, he wondered how long it would be before Creed went after one of them, Mystique or himself. "I kind of wish I hadn't shown him my new demonic side. The element of surprise always comes in handy. I applaud your steely determination to keep things moving in a way that benefits us, Mystique," Axl added as he grabbed two glasses of Champagne and handed one to her. "May this finally be a way for the mutant community to thrive. I am sick of playing games with those who would rather have us under the boot."

If Michael were totally honest with everyone around him at the moment, he'd likely admit that he was very surprised and equally as pleased that Brian was going to take him up on his offer to join the Gray Court. "Thank you for accepting my offer, Brian," Michael said as he shook Brian's hand. "We can discuss your rank later, but I am thinking Gray Bishop would be an excellent fit."
Priest turned to see where Cillian was now, only to see Faith blazing a trail toward him and away from the Howlett family group. "Faith? What's wrong?"
"Papa, it's...it can wait," she said as she turned to see everyone in a celebratory mood. "Did Aradia arrive? She texted me this morning...she was feeling bad about Aidan. We've been talking, and she thinks you will need the Gray Warrior Princess soon. She's coming home."
Michael was in shock when Faith relayed the news about Aradia. That meant the only slot left to fill was the Gray Knight. He'd need to speak to Emma later to give her this news.
"Brian, you have brought me good luck," Michael said as he lifted his glass once more. "To the Gray Court's resurrection! To the continued growth of Hellfire!"

to need to adapt and control perception of us.. So whatever Charles and Erik need of us we will
do.. If things go right then I may have a chance to get Irene back." Raven looked over at Axl
wondering how he took what she said.. If she had her way she would have them both in her
life forever.. "You and Irene are the future I want to build from." She added so he would know

“I’m so proud of you Bishop. I feel like a bee feeling so drawn to that suit of yours.” She said while
resting her head on his arm. She then turned her attention to Claire and Rain. “Oh we don’t mind.
At least I don’t. It’s always nice to see some friendly faces.” Terra said with a joyful smile.
You have a choice and I hope you join us." Bishop asked as he knew that she would say yes, but it was still her choice to be made.
"We will learn more today what that team will be doing. It will be a little different then what the X-Men have been doing sort of."
"Seriously, I am very excited to be on a team of any kind and experience what it is like and to have a
place in all of this. So do we know who will be on this team of ours besides Kate and yourself?" |

to Lazuli as he sat down and looked over and noticed one of the bottles of Champaign was missing..
"Shit!. Emma is going to have a cow when she notice's one of her expensive bottles are missing..
Anyway you have my lovely boyfriend and I around to annoy you.." Iceman laughed..

The look on her face then became more serious.. “We have hope to finding Forge.. The jellyfish
drone was created by him and that is a clue.. When this is over I am going to try and get Doctor
Nemesis to allow me to hold it.. If I use my powers I should get an idea about where he could
possibly be and his state of mind..

“Seriously I looked all over for you and I could not find one clue of your disappearance.” Maverick put down his gun and stepped back from
Sabretooth. Maverick’s hand still rested on the grip of his gun just in case Creed decided to attack. A part of Maverick was hoping he would.

was going to let you know I was back after this celebration.." Jason said as Maverick nodded his
head that he understood even though he had a look of disappointment..

Apocalypse appeared in astral form in the tent standing before his son Duskk.
"I pose no threat X-Men!" En Sabah Nur's voice rang out through the tent. "I am here to see
my son on his special day." He said as everyone in the tent looked surprised. Logan almost
popped his claws and Banshee almost launched a sonic scream but both men stopped themselves.
"My son it's good to see you. I thought you had died.. A trick by Sinister and I now know what
you had been through at his hands. I am sorry for that experience but it had made you strong
and worthy of the blood that runs through your vanes. You are the only child of mine that is also
Fay. You are special even among mutants. I will be watching your wedding from my location as I
know the X-Men clan is not ready for me to be among them just yet. I wish you blessings on your
ceremony with your chosen mate. Monet is most worthy of you.. A powerful mutant and a warrior
heart.. I look forward to spending time with my Grandchildren in the future and we will have that
time.. I promise our family will be reunited soon.. For now I will watch from a far.." After Apocalypses
spoke he faded away like smoke from a fire.
gently onto Duskk's shoulder and a fatherly look about him even in the tone of how he spoke..
"You okay Lad?.. I know you must be going through a lot right now.. You just met your parents for the
first time before your wedding.. If you need an ear I have two.." He said as both Duskk and him chuckled.. |

“I was about to say you have good taste..” Bradly responded to Duncan..
“Well I better get going and join Henry.. Our little ones are hanging with his little ones plus I
need to fine Modem and get my breakfast.. So good luck on your big day!” Nemesis walks over
and gives Revolver a hug and then Poltergeist before leaving the tent..
"I think Storm has competition on being a Goddess." Nemesis said as he walked over and the two of them kissed..
"Did you grab breakfast luv?. We should grab something as that aroma is making my stomach growl like Henry when
he is having a mood.. And trust me he is always in a mood.." |

There were things going on that Ray noticed, but he purposefully ignored. Thanks to his energy sensing and telepathic abilities, he could feel surges all over, especially the astral projection. But since he wanted nothing of it, he didn't pay attention to who it actually was making their appearance known. He wouldn't have been happy if he did.
Instead, he paid more attention to his friends. He wasn't much of an ice skater, that was Naomi's thing more than his. But Ray wasn't going to pass up a chance to relax a bit. "Sure, I'm getting on the ice," he said, replying to Hisako. "I'll try not to fall and kill myself before my sister gets here to laugh at me." He chuckled and then checked his watch.
He was surprised Naomi hadn't shown up yet. But she had a habit of running late sometimes.

It was then she noticed a silver haired man come over to the group. She didn't recognize him but Kari filled the Captain in. " Nathan is it? I'm very happy to meet you. Kari filled me in on who you are. You've got a wonderful person to stand beside you. I haven't seen her in a very long time. As to the confusion? It is a little bit but I'm starting to get my bearings. " |
