exactly what it grows into under this leadership!” Ghost continued to say as he started to fix his plate.

Both D and Dante didn't hesitate in joining Wade and the others at the table. If D weren't there, Dante probably would've declined, and Daiyei could see it on his face. Having someone who'd known him for centuries helped to keep him comfortable. Dante didn't bother to really go for the food. D, on the other hand, started to eat like he hadn't had real food in forever. But being in space did that. "It was the first time I really felt lost doing it," Dante said in response to Deadpool. "Back when we had our dimension hopping with Althena...." D looked over at Dante as he paused since it was obvious he didn't want to think about what he saw happen to her, "It felt different. I guess things change when you see the end and beginning of time.""Can't relate," D stated after finishing his bite. "Traveling in space probably isn't that bad in comparison." There was a meow from D's jacket as he sat, so he reached in and let his pet out from snuggling to eat off of his plate while he listened to Deadpool. I'm sure we plan on staying. We still have to find Alucard, and Kuja's still missing too. I don't know about X-Force, though. Wetworks were never really my thing."While his flerken ate off of his plate, the piece of Althena's head ornament that he kept in his coat pocket began to vibrate.

would understand.. And speaking of Beast he is apart of this X-Force leadership so I wonder about
the wetworks part of what X-Force was going forward.. A lot of questions.. Can I pet the kitty?. I
hope it’s a lot nicer to me then Gambit’s cats.. He has a cat he named Lucifer and I tell you that
cat lives up to it’s name.. It’s a demon in fur kind of like my ex wife.. Oh I was married to a demon..

joined in after the Professor..
“Should we grab a seat at the table and enjoy the meal that is awaiting us?” Carrie had been right about this entire event, and that made Victoria smile inside.
"Yes, thank you both very much for the invitation to the weddings and your announcement today," she replied to both Xavier and Magneto. "I must admit I was pleased as punch that you asked me to come along. Some of my distinguished competitors will be spitting tacks when they find out, so I do appreciate the gesture. Especially that madman Jameson at The Bugle."
Carrie shook her head as she glanced at Victoria, and the publisher couldn't help but laugh. "And thank you for the kind words, gentlemen. Carrie needs much less planning to pull off anything. I have handlers who always fuss about my look, and I think I am about ready to tell them to jog on. I think after today we will all have much more to think about than what huge piece of jewelry does not go with this dress."
Victoria looked at the table and all the food that had been set out for the guests and nodded to her hosts. "Yes, please. I'm famished."

“You know JJ I forget how much fun it is to be among the X-Men. I need to learn how to balance my private life and the X-Men.”
He said and JJ knew exactly what he meant about private life. Fantomex loved the thrill of a good histe. The more complicated
the better the histe was. If he was going to be back in the X fold he would still have to keep to his thieving lifestyle, unless the
X-Men needed his special skills on future missions. The idea thrilled him and gave him hope.
"Oh, I know what that means," JJ said with a wink as she thought about Fantomex's life outside the hallowed halls of Xavier's mansion back in the day. "I know you tend to fly solo on all that stuff, and I understand why, but if you ever want company, my skill set might come in handy."
JJ smirked as she phased her hand through one part of the table and had her fingertips pop up a few inches away and wave at Fantomex.
"I am not as good as Ms. Pryde, but as long as I am not phasing bullets out of anyone, then I'm peachy. But as I said, I understand if that part of your life stays private. Everybody needs something to offset the crazy we live with every day around this bunch."
JJ thought for a minute about what her sister, the ex-cop, would have to say about all this, but then she turned to see her and Jason over with Victor Creed. "Oh, hey now. My brother-in-law is playing referee for Maverick and Sabretooth. That is not going to end well. Care to make a wager on how long Creed stays on the side of the angels?" she asked Fantomex as she ate another strawberry from her plate. "Or is that stuff forbidden now?"

Michael knew Emma had seen everything that went down with Shaw and the newly-minted Red Queen through the link they had established, and he was happy that things had calmed down quite a bit now. "Sebastian, Kate, yes, we all must do better. That is one reason why I have invited Brian to join the Gray Court, and I hope he accepts the invitation. No pressure, of course, Brian, but your business acumen and your strong sense of character would be great assets as we move forward."
As he looked toward Graeme, Priest saw that his major domo was a bit distracted. "Graeme, is anything amiss?"
"No, sir," Graeme said as he put away his phone. "My brother. Nothing that needs attending to today. I would not want to leave here to head to his location anyway."
Michael sighed deeply as he thought about Graeme's younger brother. They had had long talks about the young man, and they would likely be doing so for years to come if he kept getting mixed up with some of the lesser lights in Bagalia. "We'll talk later, and if you need to take the jet, we can make that happen." Priest then looked at Kate and smiled. "I knew you were destined for even greater things, Kate. A toast. To the glory of the new Hellfire! And to a new day for all mutants!"

Kennis was not exactly thrilled to be here for the weddings and the announcement afterwards. After the mess with her mother-in-law Siofra, she knew she would have a lot of explaining to do to all her children and likely most of the Summers family as well.
"Of course Siofra would flee to Bagalia," Kennis said quietly to Kari as she gave her daughter a hug. "And I owe you more than a few words of explanation..."
"After the weddings," Kari replied as she looked from her mother to her cousin. "Aerfen, I'm glad you're here. I'm going to need to ask you about some of the old books back at your home. It can wait for now. Things just got very complicated..."
"Siofra," Aerfen said as she rolled her eyes. "But that isn't all of it. I can tell. No one else knows, do they? And what exactly is it that old ba...what is your grandmother trying to do? That evil place...your stupid cousins with the weapons..."
Kennis looked at Aerfen and then back to Kari, and she did not like the vibrations she was feeling from either of them. "Aerfen, we can discuss Conri and Saorla another time. No one wants to think about them right now."
The look in Kari's eyes spoke volumes, and Kennis knew there was nothing she could do about it at all.
"Nathan, I'm sorry...for everything..." Kennis said as she turned and hugged her son-in-law. "Thank you for letting us come today after everything that happened with Siofra."

Keir woke up later than most of his family, and that gave him the advantage of skirting around everyone from his bloodline as he "dipped" into many conversations around the dome. The one thing that made him sick to his stomach was talk of his grandmother bolting for Bagalia.
He knew he would need to fess up to a few things eventually, but today was not going to be the day if he could help it.
"May I join you? At least long enough to say hello to my niece and nephew?" he asked as he approached the Howlett family group. "Colin, Faith, I'm glad you made it here."
Faith stepped back as she saw her uncle and looked toward Daken, then Laura and then toward Cair. "I'm going to go talk to my father," she said quietly as she gave Colin's hand another squeeze. "Colin, listen to Daken and Laura. Do not bolt again. That's how this whole mess started."
"Faith?" Keir asked as his niece could not seem to get away from him fast enough. "Colin, what happened?"
"Siofra," Colin said as he spit on the ground. "When this is all over, perhaps the grown ups can have a chat about what No Good Granny is doing with her millions of Euros on the black market?"
"Mamo? I have no dealings with her Bagalia accounts. That's all on Conri and Saorla," Keir said as Colin kept staring at him. "What?"
"Not how you make the millions. That's all legit, as far as I know," Colin growled. "What she spends it on. I know it isn't on knitting needles and yarn. And I do not mean her boy toys either. No one needs to hear about that!"

INSIDE THE GROOMS TENT..
Duskk found himself lost in his own thoughts as he ate his breakfast. He was filled with so much
emotion with learning his true origins and meeting his mother for the first time. Mr. Sinister had
stolen so much from him.
Duskk then felt a psychic pull in his head. He looked up to see the astral form of his father
En Sabah Nur the mutant known as Apocalypse. Duskk found himself stunned and did not
know what to say.

Apocalypse appeared in astral form in the tent standing before his son Duskk.
"I pose no threat X-Men!" En Sabah Nur's voice rang out through the tent. "I am here to see
my son on his special day." He said as everyone in the tent looked surprised. Logan almost
popped his claws and Banshee almost launched a sonic scream but both men stopped themselves.
"My son it's good to see you. I thought you had died.. A trick by Sinister and I now know what
you had been through at his hands. I am sorry for that experience but it had made you strong
and worthy of the blood that runs through your vanes. You are the only child of mine that is also
Fay. You are special even among mutants. I will be watching your wedding from my location as I
know the X-Men clan is not ready for me to be among them just yet. I wish you blessings on your
ceremony with your chosen mate. Monet is most worthy of you.. A powerful mutant and a warrior
heart.. I look forward to spending time with my Grandchildren in the future and we will have that
time.. I promise our family will be reunited soon.. For now I will watch from a far.." After Apocalypses
spoke he faded away like smoke from a fire.

"Nathan!" Ronan said as he went to give his son-in-law a hug before he stopped to kiss Kari on the cheek and hug her. "It has been too long!"
Ronan looked back toward Kennis and saw her trying to keep Aerfen more or less to rights as they moved among the Summers group. "Aerfen? I can get Ardan..." he started to say as his niece shook him off. "But if you need me to, just say so."
The Swordbreaker took a quick headcount and saw that D and Dante were nearby, as were the MacLeod sisters. Hayley was near them, but Adrian was nowhere in sight. "Kari, where is..."
"I'll fill you in later," Kari sighed as ash reached over to give her mother a hug. "And I'll fill you in about the mess with Mamo. You may want to check on Rory later. He got the brunt of her anger before she took off for Bagalia."
they grabbed each other by the forearm instead of the hands.. It was also the same way the Askani
greeted one another.. Most of the Askani’s traditions were ancient pagan in nature..
Jean said as she gave him the same hand shake as Cable did but Ronan pulled Jean into a big warm hug which
brought a smile to her face.
Suddenly Jean.. Cable and Karenza felt Apocalypse's astral form arrive in the tent.. Ronan saw the three of them
become silent and have the same look in their eyes as all three of them listened to the psychic conversation that
he was having with his son.. |
