OOC: I am being vague about the number exiting the vault in case anyone needs to bring a missing character into play.

As Blink opened the portal, Kari looked behind her to see that the remaining cocoons had been opened. Her brother Ewan, a centuries-old vampire, had stumbled as he tried to exit his personal prison, but her adopted daughter Kendra Athonlea and her sister-in-law Enya Sun had gotten him to his feet and pulled him through. Kendra ran like a literal bat out of hell to find a blood bag to help her Uncle E get to rights again. "Ma! Unc got desiccated a bit in that screwy mess! Hankster! Cece! Blood bag, please!"
Kari felt a wave of embarrassment flood Ewan as Kendra ignored almost everyone in her way to help him. {{We're home, little brother. Just rest assured all will be fine now}} Kari said in their link before standing to look at the faces she felt more than once that she would never see again. She could not help but see the faces that were no longer there, and she did not simply mean Scott's. There were family members and friends that were no longer here, and new ones had stepped into their place in that moving tableau that was the Family of X. To be honest, she did not know how many of those missing faces had been visions sent by Cassandra Nova and the Shadow King, and she did not want to open any wounds that might never heal.
"I have got to stop doing this disappearing thing," Kari said to everyone, but she focused on Jean, Ororo and Logan. "I'm beginning to think the bad guys really hate having us all together," she added with a slight chuckle as she went to hug Jean and Ororo. "It's good to be home, ladies. And Logan, I'm sorry they got caught up in this."
Kari motioned behind her to where Cair and Seth stood. The last time Logan saw Seth, he was a toddler, and now he was almost 13 years old. Kari could not explain how that poor child and his mother got pulled into her mess, but whoever had done this to them was going to pay.
"Wade, did you say Inhumans? Oh right, the mists..." Kari said as her heart sank. "We saw that coming. Enya and I had a lot of visions during our imprisonment."
Kari gulped as she tried to think of all the visions she had had and wondered how many were actually true.
"I'm sorry that I sound like a babbling idiot, everyone," Kari said softly as she realized someone else had not chimed in about her return. "With everything going on, I neglected to ask anyone about Emma."

"Sorry, not sorry!" Kendra shouted as she finally found the blood locker and rummaged through for a pack for her Uncle Ewan. OK, so he wasn't really her uncle. Kari and Nathan weren't her parents. Everything had gone boots up and back again in her life, and she was still no closer to finding out who made her and why. That was all going to have to wait.
"Got it!" she yelled as she ran back to Ewan and slammed a metal straw into the bag. "Slow sips, Unc," she said with a decidedly lopsided smile before getting back to her feet and running to Cable. "Oh God, I missed you so much, Pops!" she shouted as she gave him a big hug. "I am so damned pissed at that jerk Nova and Shadow King. They got in my head good. You'd think I'd have learned to psi-block better by now!"
Kendra then looked over at Deadpool and smiled. "You! You! I wish I had been able to bring back things from wherever the hell we actually were at first. You would have loved this big gun I saw, Wade! It had a chainsaw on the end of it, like in Gears of War. It totally rocked!"

Kari stopped to hug Michelle tightly before the rest of the team started filling in around them. "It is good to be home," Kari said softly as she broke the embrace. "We lost hope so many times that we'd make it back, and sadly, now I know why," Kari said as she reached up to wipe the bloody tears from Michelle's face. "I'm sorry for the pain this caused for everyone, and I'm sorry for the years lost. Even to an External, the loss of so many years is heartbreaking."
As she smiled at Michelle, Kari tried to piece together so much of what had been that likely now was gone forever. "Warpath? You are still together, right?" asked as a few stragglers who had made their way out of the portal started to move among the team. "Excuse me for a second," Kari said to Michelle as a tall blonde woman came over to them. "Michelle, this is my sister, Roslea. We brought her back during a short stint on Avalon. She's remained hidden on the Holy Isle for centuries."
The blonde nodded and smiled as she looked at Michelle. "A pleasure," she said as her familiar, a grey Persian cat, rested in her arms. "Let me set this little minx down for a bit," Roslea added as she looked around the room. "So many people here called X-Men. It boggles my mind."

Genn knew of Karenza and a few of them that came back from the dead. He learned about them through many
nights of drinking with Logan and all his tails of the X-Men. Also the many news footage's and documentary on
the X-Men. Ghost was thrilled to see such legends return back to the fold and he had an opportunity fight by their
side.

“KARENZA!!!” Quentin jumped up from his seat with excitement and quickly calmed himself down.
He sat back down pretended that he did not care but he did. “So Everly did you have a Karenza in
your world?” He asked his girlfriend as he was curious to what her answer would be.

Monet was very pleased by joining Jean’s team for this mission. A few moments later the one thing that Monet did not
expect to happen unfolded. Karenza and many familiar faces that she thought was long dead were alive. The surprise
quickly faded with all the sudden resurrections of late. Monet was very pleased with seeing Karenza as she was a
strong inspiration to her when she was younger. (Jubilee Karanza is back from the dead and a few others too.) Monet
telepathically told Jubilee who was outside gathering the students. “This days is full of surprises my love” She said to
Duskk as he was trying to absorb what was going on. He had not been around during that time and she was a student
at the time.

Hisako lead a cheer with her Junior X-Men team. She was overjoyed by seeing Karanza and the others.
She was very young a student the last time she saw all of them. Kari was one of her teachers and helped
her on her way to being where she was today. “Welcome back Kari!” She yelled out to her. “This day just
get’s better.” She said to the rest of her team.

“Talk about perfect timing! I would like to remind everyone that I said Karenza would be back from
the dead. I should of put money on it.” Glob said after Armor as he felt like this was a good sign for
the future.

“So that is Karenza!” Dana could not hide how excited she was to see the woman she heard so many stories about.
She looked over at Peter to see how shocked he was. “This is a good day Big Red.” Colossus was still in his own head
and did not respond. What Suprema saw next is what really surprised her. “That’s my dad’s wife that died!” Dana said
when she saw Cair and then Seth. “I have a younger brother too!” She wanted to rush over and introduce herself but
there were already a lot of people surrounding them.

Old Man Logan sat down alone in the corner watching everything that was happening. His old heart began to beat
faster when he saw Cair and Seth. In his world he watched them die by the Hulk Gang. He was happy that this worlds
Logan had them return to him but it brought up a lot of emotions. He then guzzled down the rest of his whiskey and leaned
back in his seat.

“This is the greatest day ever!” Bobby shouted out as he jumped up from his seat. “Welcome back!” Iceman was so happy
to see his old friends return from the dead. “The woman with the red hair is a combo of Xena and Cable and of course she
is married to Cable.” Bobby explained to his boyfriend but Duncan looked a bit confused. “She’s Citian’s mom.” Duncan nodded
his head.

“Wow Karenza and Adraste!” Rose said out loud as she got up from Rockslide’s lap and stood watching. “I forgot
that I had another brother out there.” She looked over at her sister Suprema and saw that she was also grasping
with sudden surprise. Rose then wondered if Adraste would like her and her sister. She can only imagine the shock
that she was going through.

It took Rogue a few minutes to get herself in control. The tears came down like a rain storm when she saw
her friends that were the same as her family return from the dead. She turned to her husband Gambit and
saw his tears. “Oh Remy!” She took her husband into her arms and they held each other for a moment. “Can
you believe this?” Before he could respond she dragged him by the hand over to Karenza. “I so believe in miracles!”
She gave Karenza the biggest hug. She then reached out and placed her hand on Adraste’s shoulder. “Good to see
you Sugar!”

“My memory is in fragments.” Psylocke began to explain why she had her original body back. My body was destroyed
so Saber and I used the energy in the astral plane and constructed a new body for me. It formed into my original body.”
She told the X-Men that were around her as she clung to Saber.
