“Okay team we have the green light!” Magik announced as she waited for her team to surround her. Once they did, Illyana created
a big disk of light under the whole team. The team sunk down into the teleporting disk. Once submerged in the light it felt like they
spun upside down and then back right up again as they came out of the ground inside the base. The inside was dark and smelt very
dusty.

Aurora instantly created a ball of light the size of a basketball and moved it to the center of the room creating enough light to fill the
base. She stayed close to Daken as they began moving through the building. The area they were in looked like a command station with
a lot of computers and screens. “So far it looks clear!”

Warlock sprung into action as he made his way to the main circuit control center and shape shifted his left arm into a long prong
and inserted it into a jack point and began the process of repairing and getting the power up in the base. {Self is repairing the grid
and the power will be active in a cycle of five minutes!} Warlock announced.

“No sign of X-Club! They should have already been here! This is not a good sign!” Jamie said with concern as he folded his arms and
waited for everything to play out. Old Man Logan, Daken and the others were still moving about to make sure everything was secure.
It was a big base with many rooms but with all the dust and dirt it was clear the only beings that were around were the cockroaches
and rats that were scattering all around them to find dark places to hide.

Kendra had joined Jono as Magik transported everyone to the base in Genosha. The base looked like it had not been visited by anyone in ages, and that was a very bad sign if X-Club was supposed to be there.
As she looked over at Old Man Logan and Daken, she thought back to a very brief time ages ago when she had hoped a DNA test she had taken would reveal Logan--her reality's Logan at any rate--was her dad. Hank did not give her any joy that day, and they were still trying to figure out if there was any way to decode her parents' identities through the magic of science.
She was grateful that Kari and Nathan and their huge family were her family now, and she thanked God every day for the gift Jono was to her.
((I forget how much Genosha scares me)) she thought as she looked at Chamber. ((I'm keeping my eyes and ears open, babe. I just wish we knew where the X-Clubber were)) she said as she held a small axe at the ready. It had been in one of the goody boxes from the Buckland armory, and it actually felt good in her hands. That freaked her out a bit, too. She was more of a mace girl in battle.

Midnight stayed close to everyone but held up a finger as a flame gently sparked from it. "This reminds me a lot of the underground tunnels we used to use to avoid detection on the surface. Not the biggest fan. " She said softly.

(SNIKT!!) Akihiro popped his claws and stood for a moment and looked all around.. The dust
and other bad odors kept him and Old Man Logan from getting a good scent.. Daken rushed
to the right side of the building and opened one of the doors and rushed into the room with
Aurora behind him creating a sphere of light in her hand so they could see.. Inside appeared
to be a massive laboratory.. “This room is secured and it is the laboratory center of the base..
X-Club will put it to good use!”

“That is what we are going to do Jono!” Mirage responded as she unsheathed one of her long
knives, a gift from Storm. Like Warpath her knife was made from vibranium.. She maneuvers
the blade behind her hand with the blade resting up her forearm.. It was a technique Storm
taught her during a training session.. While Old Man Logan went through the left door.. Dani
kept moving straight into a long hallway.. Aurora’s light sphere in the center lit up most of the
dark hallway but not all of it as she entered into darkness..

A bright light shined down the hallway as Karma hurried and joined Mirage with a small flashlight
in her hand.. “So far I am not picking up any thoughts of anyone around!” Xi’an said as her eyes
and around her head glowed a bright pink light as she telepathically scanned the area as they
continued to walk down the hallway towards two big doors..

“One step at a time Chamber! I am concerned too but we need to secure the base and get it running before we can move onto the
next step which is finding X-Club!” Magik responded to Jono as she shared his concern as she watched both Karma and Mirage
disappear into the dark hallway.

“Ladies, I hope you do not mind if I join you!” DireWolf said in a deep beastly tone as he hurried down the tunnel to join Karma and
Mirage. The Phoenix fire from his sword lit up the tunnel with an orange light. Whatever was behind the doors he was ready to join
them in a battle if it turned to it.

Old Man Logan slammed opened two huge metal like doors and entered a darkened room. The light from Aurora’s sphere of light creeped
in as he stood with his claws out. It was better to get a scent in this room compared to the mane room they arrived in. Logan did not catch
a scent of anything alive beside a few rats. As the light entered just a small portion of the room he was able to see a few racks of guns. The
room was an armory of sorts or at least appeared to be. “All clear!” He said into his communication badge.
