“Ladies, I hope you do not mind if I join you!” DireWolf said in a deep beastly tone as he hurried down the tunnel to join Karma and
Mirage. The Phoenix fire from his sword lit up the tunnel with an orange light. Whatever was behind the doors he was ready to join
them in a battle if it turned to it.

as the doors flung open the power turned on through the whole base and what was before them was a
hanger bay. There were four Genoshan style combat ships and twenty hover vehicles all armed with huge
Gatling-guns on the front. “All clear! We found a hanger bay and some toys we might want to play with!”

“Power to the base is now up in running!” Warlock announced just as the lights flashed on through
the base. A few minutes later Warlock began to receive a cryptic signal from Wiz Kid. “Emergency!
X-Club is in a dangerous situation!” Warlock said as he created a holographic map showing a subway
station tunnel and the exact location of the team. The holographic image also showed the sentinel
above them. On the side a quick recap was written by Wiz Kid of the citation they were in with the
probe and Prodigy.

(SNIKT!!) Akihiro popped his claws and stood for a moment and looked all around.. The dust
and other bad odors kept him and Old Man Logan from getting a good scent.. Daken rushed
to the right side of the building and opened one of the doors and rushed into the room with
Aurora behind him creating a sphere of light in her hand so they could see.. Inside appeared
to be a massive laboratory.. “This room is secured and it is the laboratory center of the base..
X-Club will put it to good use!”
around her keeping the room lit up until Warlock turns the power on. “This looks like the type of technology that Beast and Forge uses!”
give them that edge.” Akihiro said just as the power turned on. A few minutes later they heard Warlock
and they rushed out of the laboratory to where Warlock was.. |

Roslea hated this place as soon as the team arrived there. Kari had been right. The dead were making their presence known in ways Roz was doing her best to tamp down. This did not need to turn into some crazed version of a paranormal television show.
The scurrying rats did not do much to calm Roslea's nerves as she waited and listed to the voices of those no one else could see.
She then turned and watched as Xi'an, Dani and Jason made their way into a hallway and was thrilled beyond words as the lights came on. Whatever they had found seemed to be of use to the team, so that was indeed a blessing. She also prayed that whatever they were going to do did not tip off the Orchis troops around the island.
{{Souls, I will try my best to help you find peace}} she thought as she passed the spectres only she could see as she awaited the words of the team leaders on what to do next. The wrong move could doom them all.

“All this technology hidden away like this!” Aurora responded to Daken as she looked around the laboratory with a few light spheres moving
around her keeping the room lit up until Warlock turns the power on. “This looks like the type of technology that Beast and Forge uses!”

“I Know Illyana you and Cyclops wanted to keep a lid on us being here in Genosha but that may not be an option now! These tunnels
are like a labyrinth and created to be hidden. We still have a chance if we open a portal right now and grab them and get them here!”
Old Man Logan said as he came out of the armory and headed out to join everyone.

Roslea smiled at Jolie and her very true sentiments. "I have not heard French like that for a very long time. The talk of spirits. It reminds me of friend's of my brother Ewan back in the day. You are right. Spirits never truly rest."
As she heard Old Man Logan, Roslea shook her head. "It looks like this is getting more complex by the second. The spirits will have to wait while we attend to our teammates. I am sure you will do our family proud this day, Jolie. I will have your back."

others. Even though he was trained in physical battle he was still new to his mental powers. Jason could barely control his Wolf-Phoenix.
After his sudden trip back to the White Hot Room had brought all his childhood memories back and was connecting more to his Phoenix
and his mental powers but he lacked the skill that his mother Jean or Rachel and the rest of his family on his mothers side.

“Sorry Mara but Jason is right.” Magik responded as she closed her eyes and became silent for
a moment before she spoke again. “Emma is going to do it but I need you Mara and Jason to
anchor her into Prodigy’s mind.” Illyana said as both Jason and Mara nodded that they would.
“Good I believe in both of you and Emma will need your help. This is her level of experience..
Madrox and Warlock this base is under your control when we are gone. I need you both to get
the laboratory up and running as fast as you can. X-Club may need to use it sooner than later.”
Both Jamie and Warlock nodded and headed for the laboratory.. “To the rest of you, prepare for
the possibility of combat we are going in!” Magik opened a portal and lead the way through with
the rest of the team following behind her..
