Xi’an put her arm around Jolie, “You are family now and I am looking forward to building a strong
friendship with you.” Karma said with a smile and then looked over at her girlfriend and waved at
her again seeing that she was surrounded by her friends and family. Xi’an was just happy that
Roslea did not look mad that she was late coming to the wedding.

island where all of us could celebrate.. As we speak there are many celebrations going on in
Krakoa with bonfires and fireworks.. A lot of our people have not experienced this type of
freedom before.” Emma said as she joined them.. “It is nice to see you Kendra.”

Too bad Jubilee and Monet could not be here for this.. They would have had a lot of fun with
this..} Jono said to both Emma and Banshee.. {I wonder what they are up to right now in
whatever world Nate Grey has created..} Chamber found himself really missing Jubilee and
Monet.. He was glad that Paige was on Krakoa taking care of Shogo..

“I do not see Excalibur a part of the long game for us Chere..” Gambit responded to Rogue
being cuddled against him with his arms around her as they laid in the bunk together.. “I am
looking forward to what unexpected adventure Excalibur will bring to us both.. I think we know
that we will be rejoining the X-Men team in the future.. Saber and Betsy want us on the team
and both of us are starving for something new.. I am also looking forward to time in our home
and with our babies..” Gambit’s thoughts quickly drifted to his cats that Rogue and him saw as
a part of their family..

Akihiro’s life has always been a life of chaos and pain created by Romulus.. He had done many
things he was not proud of.. He understood that he had become a monster by design and followed
through his puppet masters intentions.. Only a few times he had found happiness in his life.. Aurora
and his current life with the X-Men had become the most happiness that he felt since he met Carl Valentino
back in 1967 when he lived in Canada.. They both had a one night stand and because of Valentino’s
mutant ability of oneiromany Akihiro had a dream that they shared a whole lifetime together as romantic
partners.. The dream was very real to both of them and was too much and they separated.. Carl was too
afraid to be open about his true sexuality and Akihiro was still under the influence of Romulus.. Even though
Daken ran away he experienced a long loving relationship for the first time.. Over the years he kept an eye
on Valentino.. Akihiro watched as he married and had children and grandchildren and then passed away..
Now with Jeanne-Marie he found what felt like true love and he had a family and a purpose with the X-Men..
As he faded into sleep he understood that he was truly happy..

We need to be at our best!” Wade responded to Vanessa as he turned to face everyone at the bar..
“Good night we are headed to the bunker.. Good luck in Genosha!” He spouted as Copycat and he
headed off to the bunker together.. Deadpool was excited to wage a battle with Orchis.. He was looking
forward to pay back..

his head to Peggy Carter.. He then positioned himself so he could talk to Havok and Carter
at the same time.. “Yes we are going to do the classic trojan horse plan.. And yes if things
go wrong we have a Juggernaut and a Suprema..”

“All of this tech comes from my older self.. And from what I understand my future self has bases
like this hidden all over the world and a space station! By the Holy Askani Mother that is what you
would say in this timeline is cool!” Young Nate said as he studied the worker droids.. He recognized
them from his world.. Tether Blood his friend had a few that worked on all his crafts.. These droids
appeared even more high tech then the ones his friend had..

if he has shared his tech with him..” Major X said as he walked in behind Carter.. He was back
to full body armor without his helmet.. “I came to say that I will be sleeping on Graymalkin station
and will be here in the morning.. If you need me sooner I am all wired in so just send a message
to the station..”

Claire sat with her drink as she waited for the small ceremony for Jessie and Ewan, she couldn't help but look at how happy everyone looked for them. She glanced around and could see how happy all of the families were together. The X-Men were a family as a whole, but the actual family units were as tight as ever, and she couldn't help but feel sad about it.
She was happy for the new family to come, but she looked across the room at her son who was coming up with battle plans for revenge and her daughter was dead, with old Weapon Plus programming running her body. Her whole idea of family was broken, and she finally had a moment to herself to think about it.

“So you are the mutant version of Captain Carter from another dimension?” Havok responded after Cyclops had greeted Carter when she arrived.
“Welcome Captain to the X-Men, it is good to have you here.” Alex said before turning to his nephew the younger Cable. “Yes, your older self Cable
is a bad-ass warrior and time traveler with resources that are beyond our understanding!” Havok then was startled when Major X suddenly appeared
and made his announcement. Alex found himself fascinated by a son of Cable and Storm from another world. He also was named after him which
meant that his dimensional twin meant a lot to this Cable and Storm before he died. It made him think about his relationship with older Cable and
Storm in this world. They were close but not close to the point that they would name a child after him. It was wild to him how much he looked like
Cable and Storm. “First a Captain and now a Major! This does feel like we are going to war.”

{Just hang in there as much as you can Bethany. We will save you from Orchis and all the other prisoners very soon!} Quentin said before
floating up out of the cell and above the base. Quentin took a moment and collected the thoughts of sleeping soldiers and other operatives
in the base to learn the layout as best as he could before fading back to his sleeping body. His subconscious mind then passed the information
about the base and Sunkiller into everyone's mind that was opened to the information as they slept.

Her mutation manifested when she was pulled through and the serum merged with her newly formed mutant genes. So the abilities and physical stature she possesses are part of her mutation.") Hanna said to him. ("Kari and a few others only found out recently by pure accident when her psi signature changed. ")
Carter took a moment to take it all in but then smiled. "I guess the universe has a plan for us all and it makes sense. I'm among long time friends and those that I consider family. I'm indeed where I should be." She said. |

"It's good to see you both. Thanks for coming here for Uncle E and Jessie," Kendra said to Emma and Sean as they waited for the ceremony to start. "I know this is all sorts of, well, wicked X-Men nuts with the battle tomorrow, but sometimes you need to just live, I guess," she added as she waved at Hope and Scarlett, motioning for them to come over. "Jono has reminded me of that every single minute since we were found in that stupid vault."
As she turned around and looked at those gathered in the room, she noticed Claire sitting off by herself. Kendra had lost track of Ray, but both mother and son had to be thinking about Naomi. ((Ma, you might want to check in on Claire later)) Kendra thought as she glanced over at Kari. ((That mess with Naomi...it's gotta be unbearable))
"When this is all over, Emma, then I am sure Uncle E and Jessie will want the blow out party they deserve. Until then, we do what we always do. We fight to survive," Kendra said, her voice dropping at the end so as not to upset too many of the guests. "And to send the bastards to hell. Sorry. Not gonna doom and gloom on everyone."
Kendra reached over and grabbed Jono's hand, kissing it for good measure. "Thank God I have someone in my life who won't let me."

"Hope, no one will mind if you have champagne," Scarlett said as she saw Kendra waving them over. "And if anyone gets weird, they answer to me. And Kendra."
"You two," Kendra said as she scooted closer to Jono so that Scarlett and Hope could slip into their little group. "I'm glad you are here. I don't get to talk to you enough."
"Well, we've all been a little distracted," Scarlett said as she sipped her glass of champagne. "We need to fix that. It's been...hard to process stuff," she added as she tapped her forearm and nodded in Kari's direction. "And Mom may be used to battlefield weddings, but most of us aren't. And..."
"Pops, yeah, I understand," Kendra said as she slipped one arm around Hope and the other around Scarlett. "Look, I'm never gonna be Pollyanna about this stuff. I usually swing my mace first. But we have family and family beyond that," she added as she looked toward Jono, Sean and Emma. "Tonight we thank whatever creator or deity we want that we are here. We pray for the safe return of the rest of this family. Then we kick ass."
"Since when did you get all speechy?" Scarlett said as she put down her glass and wiped her eyes a bit. "I thought that was your specialty, Emma? The right word when we need it most? And I'm not being funny. I swear."
