Persha shot through the portal coming out the other side her emotion which she usually kept in check was unleashed . The energy of the Goblin force erupted around her taking its familiar shape of a large bat like entity.
2 sentinels flew up toward her but she crushed them like beer cans. If they reformed or not she didn't care. Her focus was on one thing and one thing only. She went full force into the Shadow Kings creation . As she dropped inside she heard a laughter that sounded like a mixture of a man and her mothers.
"You have darkness little one......So much potential. Why be a slave when you can become a goddess?" The voice said as the spiders started to surround her.
"Spare me the join the Dark Side speech. I may be a being forged of darkness but I am not that." She responded as she channeled a blast of energy all around her exploding outwards causing a chunk of the spider dragon to explode outwards before it rebuilt itself.
"You are strong little one but it was foolish to think you can best me in my own realm."

Hayley already didn't like the sound of this whole team thing when she set foot on Muir behind Brian Braddock, his wife Meggan and Sydney.
Yes, Sydney was all gung-ho and ready to jump into battle.
That had to be a bad idea.
"Before you jump into death's gaping maw, would you please slow down!" Hayley shouted as she grabbed Sydney's arm and pulled her back. "Here. Take this," Creidne said as she handed the second-youngest MacLeod sister a sword. "Adrian helped me pick it out. Before things got weird between us. With our screwy spell, it seems to be more attuned to you than to me. Just please don't break it or lose it."
"I won't!" Sydney said before a blast sent them both flying into the air. "Don't tell me Danu is playing games. She didn't let you do the wing thing. Not today! Not cool!"
"No, but she doesn't want me going into that damned mess the Shadow King set up over there. I am not listening," Hayley said as she broke into a run and found herself in the middle of darkness. She could hear everyone around her, but she couldn't see them.
"Kari, if you are near me, I am coming!" Hayley shouted into the black nothingness before her as she tripped over something. Someone. She wasn't sure at the moment. "I am not falling prey to this garden variety shite today. This is not real. None of this is real!"
If anyone could see Hayley at the moment, her greatest fear was all around her. It wasn't finding the corpse of Adrian Tepes. It wasn't a repeated replay of burying her daughter Annaliese. It was simply being alone and screaming into the night with no one to listen to her. She was lost and didn't seem to even know it yet.

Brian ran through the portal and felt a knot form in his stomach as he saw what had become of Muir Island. How in the name of all that was holy had this happened to a piece of the British Isles?
Before Braddock could sink his sword into one of the Orchis troops, Meggan used her magic to impale some of the human Sentinels on spikes she forced to jut out from the earth below their feet. "I think Kari tried the same trick," she said quietly as she could feel the island's "pain" as they leapt into battle. "Something happened..."
"Duck!" Brian shouted as he sung his sword and sliced into the chest of one of the Orchis troopers. "Meggan, go join Kylun! Maybe you can figure out a way to control the fight from up above the fray. And I will avoid that black hole as best I can!"
Brian and Meggan were no strangers to this insanity, and neither were Saber, Betsy nor any of the other members of Excalibur, but it hurt his heart so see what was happening here. He spun and looked at the horizon just past where Elizabeth was locked in battle and saw a sight he was not prepared for. Merlin riding a dragon up into the clouds with some X-Men on the mount behind him.
"Betsy! Merlin the White is here!" Brian yelled to his sister as he barely evaded a particle blast. "He has a lot of explaining to do. I'm glad he's here, but..."
As another blast flew through the air, Sydney MacLeod put up her own barrier to protect her new team. "I'm rusty. I know! I'll get better!"
"Thank you!" Brian shouted back in reply as he kicked back another trooper that was getting much too close for his liking.

{There was some sort of reality warping in that area where Angel was standing.. A powerful
being or entity with a lot of power was here only a few minutes ago..} Kaun-Yin conveyed as
he looked over where the broken glass was..
{Brother Shin and Zan stay here and heal this person and help protect the island.. I am going
to Muir island if anyone wants to join the portal will only be open for a short time..} Kaun-Yin
said as the energy around his helmet began to glow brighter and crackle with energy as
Kaun- Yin waved his hand and a wormhole formed right before him and he stepped through..
On Muir island in front of the Science Facility Xorn’s wormhole formed and Kaun-Yin stepped through
as a giant sentinel aimed its photon cannon on the palm of its hand at Xorn.. A massive blast from the
open eye slots of his helmet at the Sentinel caused a hole in the center of the sentinels chest..
{Hello Wolverine I thought that you and the others may need a little help!} Xorn said to Logan as he
blasted another sentinel that was about to blast Logan.. Cair and Seth..
"Thanks for the save, Dad," Seth said to Wolverine just before Kaun-Yin Xorn arrived. Seth watched in awe as Kaun-Yin blew a hole into one of the Sentinel's chests. "You arrived at just the right time, Kaun-Yin," Seth said as he tried not to look at the spider dragon and what was going on in and around the thing. "Dad, I never want to see that sick, twisted guy again."
"Honey, what are you remembering that you aren't telling us? The Witchblade knows something is off," Cair said as she sent out tendrils from her armor to choke the life out of two Orchis troopers.
"That sicko was trying to do to use what he did with Galen and Dan Summers when they were babies. Galen told me about it. We were feeding that creep, and I want to smash him into the ground for that," Seth said as his own Witchblade armor started to get a bit too active for his own good. "I won't. I know I'm not strong enough. But I want to."

"Oy! MacLeod! You let two goddesses walk into that muckety pitch?" Jon growled as fire formed in his hands before he sent it flying toward two Orchis troopers.
"Since when did you join Excalibur?" Sydney yelled as she swung her sword and felt a magic blast burst forth from its blade. "Holy frijoles! Adrian got Hayley one kick ass sword!"
"That was a gift from the Dark Prince? Really?"
"Jon, don't call him that! If he were here right now, Adrian would be fighting to keep us all safe. He is not like his creepy old man!"
"Another romantic. Gonna get you birds killed," Jon mumbled as he set another batch of troopers alight. "I hate these bigots! Wish we'd sent them all to hell ages ago!"

Naomi was too fast for Hisako to dodge and the hit was so hard that her armor shook like jello and both her and Ray went into a back roll and hit the ground flat
on her back. Hisako almost lost her armor but she was able to keep it up.
“Oh my head.” She moaned as she had the worst headache and knew that she was not going to be able to keep it up much longer.
“Ray, hang on, I have one last trick to do!” Hisako got back up on her feet. She had watched Rockslide and other big mutants copy the Hulk by slapping their hands
together as hard as they could causing a sonic attack. It was something she was going to experiment with in the danger room but had not yet until now. As she went
to clap her hands together something unexpected happened. At the same time Naomi in super speed launched at her again just as Armor clapped her hands together
catching Naomi as her hands came together with her in the middle taking all three of them by surprise. There was a loud boom sound and Naomi fell to the ground not
moving.
“Oh my God!” Hisako yelled out and was frozen in place in shock by what had happened. She was not sure what to do. Naomi could spring up at any moment or she
needed help.
Ray cried out as his sister fell and hit the ground, landing on some debris. Even though his sister had a healing factor, he wasn't sure she was going to be getting up from that. She took that attack head on and didn't use her telekinesis to shield her. His arms mostly healed and he was getting ready to climb down from Hisako's exoskeleton when there was a loud sizzling noise as someone was teleporting in. Anyone familiar could tell that it was a knockoff version of Cable's bodyslide technology, and one Ray was familiar with. But the person who appeared wasn't someone he recognized. "Damn, the module burnt out," the older, bald man exclaimed as he and four ORCHIS soldiers moved toward Naomi. The four soldiers were armed with assault rifles, and one of them pointed his rifle directly at Armor. "This was supposed to be a simple operation." The man turned and looked up at Hisako and Ray. "You decide to leave Portland and this is where you end up. I have to admit, I was not expecting you to come out of retirement. At least not so soon anyway.""Get away from my sister!" Ray shouted before he let off an energy blast, but it was deflected by a force field. "Cut that out, will you? This bootleg module won't be able to throw up another one, and you might end up striking Dominique." The man replied. "Her name isn't Dominique!""Sure it is. She's Dominique I, the third product of the Armitage line of Weapons. Barely any different than you, Raiden. No matter what failures that thief coaxed you into being. The Weapon Project might no longer exist, but I'm just taking back what was stolen from me.""Stolen?" Ray asked, confused, "She was stolen from our mother by my piece of shit father!""Who stole her and you from me!""And who the hell do you think you are?!""Me, I'm Nathan Pliskin!" Ray was shocked to hear his father's name, because this old man was not his father. "That lackluster spawn of mine proved himself to be an utter waste of space, just like you, your uncole, and the other Terrible Children. That 'son' of mine proved his worth by taking a bullet, Dominique will no doubt prove her worth when she's not splitting her attention. And you too may end up proving your worth Raiden. Or maybe you'll die as quickly as your father did. Say hi to Claire for me."Nathan tossed the broken tech module to the ground and caused it to explode. With teleportation no longer an option, one of the soldiers scooped Naomi up off of the ground and began to retreat along with Nathan in order to regroup with the other soldiers. The three remaining started to open fire on Raiden and Armor. They knew it wasn't going to do much, but it would help with the escape. Curran was held back by Cass before he could run after Alexander and Natalie, and after seeing what happened to everyone else, he was glad his sister had done that.
As he turned to see Excalibur enter the field, he saw Ray and Hisako going at it with Naomi, and then some old guy teleported into the fight with more Orchis troops. "Who in the actual fu..." he started to ask Cass before he heard Ray and the attacker getting down to the brass tacks of this fight.
"And who the hell do you think you are?!"
"Me, I'm Nathan Pliskin!"
"Oh, that's not good. Sis, we gotta go help them!" Curran shouted as he ran, TK shield faltering, to where Hisako and Ray were being shot at as Pliskin tried to make his escape. "Why the hell is this happening now!" Curran screamed as he felt his shield shut down. "Cass!" he shouted as a bullet grazed his left arm. "I'm OK. You got any of those things Mom made?"
"You can't use them! No magic! Take this!" Cybernary yelled as she rolled a small metal ball to her brother. "Hit the blue button and toss it!"
"Blue button. Blue button," Curran mumbled as he primed the ball and tossed it at the Orchis troops. It exploded and covered them with something that looked like amber. It would not stop them entirely as far as he knew, but it would slow them down. "Ray! Hisako! Cass and I can handle these creeps."
"Or we can help you get Naomi back," Cass said as she leveled her rifle and shot one of the amber-covered Orchis trooper. "Then we may all have to deal with that crap from the Shadow King."
{{What happened to your TK?}} Cass asked Curren as he checked his own gun.
{{No damned clue}} he replied telepathically to his sister as they waited to see what Ray and Hisako wanted to do next.

flew down low in what both Rogue and Gambit called a battle run. A fighting technique they created together over the years as X-Men. It was an offshoot
of a version of a fastball special that she did with Colossus.
As they came in low Gambit charged a bunch of cards that were placed between his fingers. He tossed the cards one at a time but very quickly at the sentinels
that were in a direct path in front of them. The front of the fleet of sentinels disappeared in the multi explosions that lit up the area. Rogue released Gambit from
her arms as he fell into a roll and landed beside Meggan and Brian as she sailed into the explosion. It was not long before her fist sunk into a sentinel when she
made first contact. Rogue did not hold back as she slugged away at the machines. |

“Merlin?” Betsy repeated her brother's words as she looked up and saw both dragons heading up into the sky. She did see a glimpse of him. She smiled
as she was so happy to see him again and not the dark version of him that replaced him in Otherworld. She hoped he would stay and aid Excalibur in the
future.
“Brian that is a bloody miracle!” Betsy said as she hurried over to her brother, Meggan and Gambit. She stood with her shield up before her and her sword
to her side. The sentinels would be coming out of the fire and smoke at any moment.
“We need our Merlin to ascend to his kingdom that was stolen from him!” Before she could say anything else the man sized sentinels came through the flames
right at them. Betsy dived into battle using her shield to block and follow through with her sword just like her father taught both her and Brian when they were
kids.

Back on the Orchis Hover Carrier.
Dana was not worried by the blasts from the Orchis soldiers' guns as it did no damage to her organic armor that covered her whole body like Colossus
but it looked like a cross between an old English knight's armor and a samurai’s battle armor. She walked calmly towards them and then they scattered
to the side suddenly which caused her to stop walking. She knew something was about to happen when a juggernaut sized sentinel stepped through the
door and shot a bigger blast at her. Suprema barely was able to raise her shield up in time to block it. The blast caused her to slide back a bit. Four more
appeared and began to unload on her. It took everything she could to dodge or block each blast with her shield.
(Mom it may take me a bit to get to you. I am encountering heavy attack by these smaller sentinels.) Dana said to Jean telepathically.

A hurricane wind-like blast hit a group of Orchis soldiers as they came out of sliding doors, sending
them flying down a tunnel smacking into more soldiers as Storm landed on the hanger bay.
“We should hold this until Cyclops and the others arrive.. They are on their way now!” Ororo spouted
out as she made her way to both Vulcan and Jean..
“But Suprema is under attack and I need to get to her!” Jean said to Storm as she used her telekinesis to send big cargo boxes at the soldiers that were still
standing. She then flew across the bay and through the doors with a shield in front of her smashing into more soldiers as she began her trek to Suprema. |

“It’s been a while since I fought a battle in some sort of shadow dimension! I have heard Mother
tell the stories of the Shadow King when I was younger before I lost her. We can do this together.”
Alexander said to his sister as he focused energy through his sword and flew at the spider and swung
his sword at the creature.. The creature used its legs to block the sword and to slash at Major X but
his armor protected him from the razor sharp legs. He turned to see Wind Dancer breaking Storm out
of the web just to see her transform into a giant spider and slash his sister.
“Natalie!” Alexander yelled out to his sister when he realized that it was a trap and pulled her into his
arms and used his armor to protect her from another attack..

“The Shadow King.. I know the stories I had never been on the other side of him before.. Knowing
he is up there and so is Cassandra Nova is very serious but we have a task we will complete.. The
information on the station is too valuable to fall into Orchis’s hands.. Are we ready to move?”
took both of his pistols and deconstructed them both and reassembled them into a rifle in a matter of seconds.

“You know this is not a good tactic move at all!” Vulcan shouted as he unleashed a massive blast down the hall at the soldiers and sentinels. They could not evade
