“Do we know if this area is secured from whatever was able to take Magneto?” Duncan brought
up as he was feeling very concerned about the current situation inside the White Palace.
Poltergeist stayed close to Iceman as he was ready for any kind of action if anything went down.
He had been with the X-Men long enough to expect the unexpected.

“I agree with Lazuli. I do not feel any other being is among us besides those who are here right
now. Whoever had taken Magneto was very powerful to pull this off in front us like this. This energy
that was left behind like this is because of the power level that it was!” Exodus said as he did a scan
of the area as well.

“Nate Grey!?” Iceman repeated Bishop with a look of confusion on his face.
“Why in the hell would Nate take Magneto and try to be mysterious about it! This makes no sense to me at all! This day is becoming
stranger and stranger as it goes on!” Bobby ranted and then felt Duncan place his hand on his shoulder to calm him down and it did.
He smiled at his boyfriend for being there for him.

"Those of us along the Summers and Grey lines can feel each other. Not just by our mental connection but think of it as when you walk through water. You create a ripple. It's the same thing here. Our family creates a ripple when we move through reality. It's strange i didn't pick up my brothers but he was always quite strong at masking his signature. Even as kids." |

Sam had been quiet as he watched Kate "in her element" with all the new organic tech, but then the disappearance of Magneto and now the idea that Nate Grey was the one who spirited him away was a bit too crazy to believe. He walked up behind Kate and Brian and looked at the space where Magneto had been earlier.
"OK, if it was Nate Grey, then at least we know Magneto wasn't kidnapped, right? Nate is a powerful guy, but he might have needed an assist. Where or with what? I have no idea. Why he was all shifty spy about it? Also no clue."
Sam was stumped by all this. "It's a good thing those news ladies stayed back at the bonfire," he said under his breath before looking over at Michael Priest. "Wait, can't you do some of that magic rewind stuff? Like see people's auras or something?"

"If you mean following a person's motions once they are gone, yes, I can," Michael replied to Sam, "under most circumstances, but there is literally nothing there for me to see. Nate Grey's psionic abilities are on a level that allows him to obscure many things. I wish I could be of more help."
Michael then looked toward Emma and smiled. "I'm glad Scott is back among the living," he said as he moved closer to her. "I also know his return was one you were not likely prepared for today. If I can be of any help, any at all, say the word. And if that means giving you space, by all means, say so."

“I was not prepared for any of this is true. We have arrived at the moment and I will do my best to get through.” Emma said as she stepped
closer to Priest.
“Thank you Michael for looking out for me. I am happy that Scott is alive and he will be happy with Jean. Life has a funny way of pushing you
forward and I am going forward.” She smiled at Priest and enjoyed his company at this time. She did not want to show it to everyone how raw
her emotions were. Micheal Priest was one of the few people that truly understood her.
“We will carry on without Magneto! We have to assume for the moment he is in safe hands with Nate Grey. We need to return our attention back
to the other crises for now!” Emma announced to everyone.

A hologram image of Sage appeared in front of Sebastian Shaw. Sage’s computer-like mind allowed her to multitask many things at one time.
She was able to be physically present with X-Force and what they were doing and be a holographic image at the Crystal Palace.
“Hello Sebastian. To answer your question is that the Shadow King has expanded his pocket dimension around Muir island and we lost contact.
The New Mutant has arrived at the Xavier institute to defend it from an Orchis attack. X-Force is about to go hunting for Ahab’s ship.” Sage
reported to Shaw and everyone.

Michael's eyes grew dark at the mention of Ahab. That was one name he wished to not have heard today. Then he noticed Sam staring at him again. "Yes, Sam?"
"You used to have a mercenary force, right? Any chance you still have that bunch running around anywhere? Might come in handy to have a backup group to drop in where no one is expecting them."
"Daddy let most of them walk a few years ago," Aradia replied before her father got the chance. "The ones in my security detail stuck around until Graeme called them back. I didn't need them anyway. Where did they end up, Daddy?"
"They were hired away by Conri and Saorla O'Cathain," Michael noted as he got a cross look on his face. "Except for a few still in my security detail, the rest have relocated to Bagalia. It is hardly an army anymore, Sam."
{{It is the one mistake in recent years I wish I had not made}} Michael said privately to Emma. {{It is also one that Graeme can rectify if needed. Whatever people I have, I will dispatch them as needed}}

As soon as Sage announced Ahab's ship and a potential ORCHIS attack on the old X-Men mansion, Brian placed his scanner on the wing of the glider and climbed on top of it. From there, he opened up a panel in the center, revealing a small locker. It only took a couple of seconds for him to dial in the combination and open it, revealing his combat suit. He didn't even bother to look over the others in the new Hellfire before he started to strip down out of his regular clothes and down to his underwear.
This new organization that they were forming and that he was asked to be part of wasn't meant for fighting. After all, they asked for him to join Hellfire, not the X-Men. But a fight was coming, and he wasn't going to wait and quickly put on his costume, which was pretty fast for how many armored and connecting pieces there were. Darkwing stood up on the glider and secured his boots and belt into place before pulling on his mask and double checking to make sure his connection to his network was stable.
"Give me the run down on Ahab," He said to his computer before getting in information dump into his ear and through his HUD. He figured that the information would be a bit outdated since it's what he stole from the X-Men when he broke in and has a scuffle with a couple of them prior to the birth of Hope years back, but it would give him enough until he was able to connect with Krakoa's network in a way that he would prefer, and probably one that this new government wouldn't want him to have.

Bishop, Lazuli and Callisto walked out of the hallway after Darkwing and took a moment to watch him get into his uniform and get to work.
This is exactly how Lucas felt as well. He was not the type of person that is comfortable waiting around so began to speak up so he could
move things along.
“I am still very concerned about the Nate Grey and Magneto situation but Emma is right we have to deal with the current danger. I do not like
what is going on at Muir island but we have a strong team of X-Men on the island. In Fact all the X-Men that can take on the Shadow King are
already there. So we are going to half to let this play out for now. I believe in our telepaths to bring down the Shadow King.” Bishop spoke as
he faced everyone in the room next to the mane computer.
“So we know that X-Force is going after the ship and Orchis has a force about to attack the institute. The New Mutants are already there and they
are going to need help. We have soldiers that are trained by SHIELD and other military groups and sentinels. They will need help so I am suggesting
that the Marauders head out and join the New Mutants in this attack. I also would like us to come in from behind and attack Orchis and box them in!
So that is my offer to both the Council and my Captain!”

“I agree with Bishop and I would like to take The Marauders in for a counter and support!” Kate
spoke up and looked around at the other Council members as they all gave Kate a nod that they
approved of the action.
“Since Storm and Ghost is on Muir and that I do not have a full team just yet I am open to anyone
joining us!” Kate announced as the rest of the Marauders began to fall in around her.
