Dana had followed everyone else into this new area, and if she were being totally honest with herself, she'd have admitted how much this all threw her off. She had not come back wanting to stay. She came for the weddings. She had not come back hoping to reconnect with Pete. But here she was.
The question now was what was going to come next?
"This is utterly beautiful," she said quietly as she watched everyone reacting to this new living space and to what was going on around them. "Pete, did you know about this?" she asked Wisdom as she turned around to get the full view of this wonderful island. "Scratch that. I know the drill. Let me rephrase that. Does this stun you as much as it stuns me? It is not what I expected. But I am glad I decided to hang around a bit longer. I would not have wanted to miss this."
Dana chuckled under her breath as she watched some of her brothers scoping out the island. "They aren't ready for this. I pray they don't make a mess of things. You know all too well how my family gets."

Magneto and Emma had a private meeting with the heads of the the United Nations but information about that
meeting had been private.. Which made both the Queen and the Prime Minister very nervous.. That is why they
sent me here and to be honest I don't think this is going to go bloody well back home.. The leadership of the secret
intelligence Service is not the same as it was in the 90's where we had some level headed leaders.. This new leadership
is not going to like this at all.. I am sure they will have me continue to work this in some way.. As for your family I can
already read their faces.." Pete conveyed to Dana as he looked a bit shookin by it all..
Dana nodded to Pete as she listened to what he was saying. "We can talk about my siblings later. With what has been going on in the monarchy, I am not surprised that they might be a tad upset by all this. And as for the PM, he can be a true wild card. If indeed all nations can benefit from the creation of this mutant nation, then it should all be for the good, but..."
If nothing else, Dana was a pragmatist. She knew this state craft was daunting, and Pete was doing his level best to juggle both worlds so no one would be in the crossfire. People never seemed to understand that, and she wanted to belt a few of those people in the mouth because of it.
"I know reality is seldom easy to navigate. I also have a feeling that my studies in Latveria might be put on hold because of all this. If you need an assist--as long as it does not tick off your bosses--then I'm all in. Unless you have others who are planning to help you? Do not want to step on any toes with my pointy shoes."

"A farm? That's cool!" Hisako said as she walked over and joined Glob and looked over the map. She then looked over at Ray.
"Ray what do you think of our new home? You need to promise to come visit and we can go camping on the beach and go fishing maybe?"
Ray kept quiet for a bit after Hisako's question. He didn't want to make anyone worry, but he knew they'd see the concern on his face eventually, so he didn't bother to lie. "I don't know quite yet," He said as he knelt down and picked up some crazy looking leaf off of the ground. "Just standing here feels like heart burn. I can feel Krakoa draining my energy. Not a lot, but enough. And I don't think the island likes how it feels, either."He then used his TK to blow the leaf away and watched it drift in the wind. "But I'll come visit for sure." |

for him.. He then looked over to Dana and felt a strong connection to her.. He really missed the old days
when they were a team..
"I know they feel I will be loyal to them.. I worked very hard to make them feel secure in that but I also
know some of them will always see me as a threat because I am a mutant.. In truth I am Loyal to the United
Kingdom.. I am also loyal to Krakoa because we live in a world that we have these refugees that need this
place to survive.. I have seen the woman and the children that did not make it.. I saw the mass graves and
then their is those that are locked away in hidden labs for experimentation.. It sounds like you have a new life
now and I don't want to take you away from that.. I am going to need help to balance both camps.. I will be
reaching out to old Excalibur mates to create a network that I will be able to work with.. Both Brian and Betsy
will work well with that.. I want to enjoy this Dana but I already see the work I have to do to protect this and
