Because of the lower quality metals, the sword will break when under enough stress, but it's a good thing he has more than one.

Webweave Endosuit: Yet another piece of stolen technology, Khadafi's suit was a S.H.I.E.L.D. creation, made in their attempts at replicating Black Panther's Habitat suits. They didn't come very close before the organization was shuttered, and thanks to some poor inventory, Khadafi was able to swipe them all before anyone could notice.

- Self Repair & Healing: What little nanite technology that exists within the weave of the suit can repair punctures and cuts. There is also a low level biological system within the suit that could help with clotting and applying pressure around wounds to minimize bleeding and blood loss.

As a result, the two of them would go off to commit some unspeakable acts.
Khadafi was harmed in one of those acts by Raiden. Others were killed. Unaware that he was brainwashed at the time, he began to dedicate his life to hunting down and killing the X-Man. Fate would bring the two together much closer to the present, when Raiden went off to hunt Weapon Plus, acting as a mercenary to fund his goals. Not even focusing on the mutant at the time, he would once again become Raiden's victim, also losing in the process of that.
His hate reforged, Khadafi would focus all of his attention on getting his revenge by any means necessary.
