Thom's mind did a mental "tick" upon hearing the name Apocalypse, and he did his best to push it far from the surface of his mind. He'd speak to his mother later about this and not bring up any questions when everyone was in such a celebratory mood.
"Dani, Rahne, it is a pleasure to meet you," Thom said as he slightly bowed to both of them. It was still a habit he carried with him to this day. His parents had always told him that politeness was the hallmark of a true gentleman. "Cass told me a bit about all of you when we were in Camelot. I'm glad I finally get to put faces to names while I am here."
"He's staying," Cass said with a big grin. "Trust me. Once he gets accustomed to a place, he makes it home."
Thom rolled his eyes at his sister, but he really couldn't disagree all that much. "She's right. The only reason I wasn't here when everyone else arrived was because I was swept away in some sort of temporal vortex."
As they stood chatting, Thom noticed that the seats were filling up quickly. He also saw his Uncle Kai had kept a few seats open where he was standing. "It seems my uncle is saving spaces over there," he said as he smiled at Rahne. "Do you ladies have seats already, or would you like to go sit with him?"
That is the one place I have not been too yet.." Rahne responded as she folded her arms
in a way that made her look like a shy little girl..
"It's really nice to meet you." "And it is very nice to meet you, Rahne," Thom replied as he walked with her and Dani to where they were going to sit. "But you have been to Asgard, right? I think that's what Cass or Mum said one night around the fire. That's one place I have never been, but I have always wanted to hear about it."
"Just don't tell Rahne and Dani about all the bad things that happened to you," Cass said with a chuckle. "Thom did not have the best of luck on horses all the time."
"Not everyone gets that family horseback riding genes, sister dear," Thom said with a laugh. "Uncle Orion would not have been pleased to see me land on my backside as often as I did."
Thom smiled as he looked at Rahne. "So, other than my bad luck with horses, what would you like to know?"

"Hmmm," Claire started before taking a long sip of her drink. She looked over at Dante as he walked away and over toward her son and what was going on with him. There were about a million things going on at this moment that told her that she was correct in her decision to come back to Earth. Part of her wished that whatever it was, it would've afforded her the ability to bring the Phoenix with her, she was going to need it.
"I don't know if he was distressed," she said before she took another sip, "I mean, I'm too tired to read his mind, and I'm not Phoenix'd right now, so who knows if I'd be able to get through any psychic blocks he might have. But I can't say for sure if he's calm or freaked out. But, if he's our Dante, and I think he is, the universe died and reformed around him. Sydney, if he's seen the rock before, who's to say that you didn't give it to him in the version of our universe he remembers before things got reset? Man, I should've kept my cosmic awareness, it would've been easier to explain this."
She then glanced back over at her son and sighed as she turned back to Hayley. "Maybe handling our issues alone is what keeps getting us into this mess. I'm sure half of what Ray's angry about is because he's still worried about the Askani, Mutant Messiah stuff. I don't think he's ever admitted it, but I think your sister's evil double really freaked him out. He likes to blame Cyclops' leadership for him quitting, but I think it was more than that, and anything Apocalypse related just drags him closer to it."

Desdemona was not fully prepared for all the happy greetings she got, but she did her best to return each and every hug and smile warmly. "It is a pleasure to meet all of you, and Kurt, there is no need to explain a thing," she said as she looked down to make sure no one was covered in demon ichor. "I just spent weeks fighting rogue demons in another dimension. It had to do with another world my mother's spirit popped into because of Merlyn," she said as she motioned back to Karenza. "In this one their X-Men and some of the Avengers were all demon hunters in black long coats. It was very, very weird. Even Tony Stark was nice to me, and that was not something I was ready for at all. It is much nicer to be meeting family here. Even if I am not the biggest fan of whales and sharks."
Dez looked at Dana, Lazuli and Omia and smiled at them. "I'm sorry if I'm a bit less demonstrative than some of my other siblings. I'll try harder. I promise," she added with a smile. "Would there be room at your part of the table so we can sit and chat?"

"And Scarlett was the Dark Askani Mother, so you may be on to something, Claire," Hayley said as she looked back toward her niece. "I have never been a fan of the Askani prophecies. That book has, at times, messed up more lives than it is worth. I'm sorry I had forgotten about Ray's, well, involvement with that whole mess. I don't envy him at all about that."
"Claire may be right about the whole tough it out on our own baloney, too," Sydney said as she looked at Claire and Hayley. "Isn't that how you and Adrian got to be you and Adrian? He helped you carry that burden of the Morrigan when Kari 'died' before we all went to San Francisco, and then you got to show us your big magical house," Sydney added with air quotes around the Kari dying part. "It's why I'm not bouncing off walls with a family curse anymore. While not literally kicking my arse around the block, Dante helped me realize the curse was just someone's misguided attempt to pull one over on my clan."
"Please, I'd rather not think about San Francisco or my house," Hayley said as she tried to sigh her way out of talking about it. "Ying is watching my house now, and I pray it brings her more happiness than it brought to me in recent memory. But back to what Claire said. Perhaps that stone was the last thing Dante got before things went insane and everyone he knew died? He lost you when that happened, you loopy Scot. He lost his best friends. And he remembers it all. I know I can't imagine that level of pain."
"When you put it that way, yeah, Claire, you are right," Sydney said as she glared at Hayley for a split second. "Does that mean we need to try to keep it--whatever it is--from happening again? And I am not a loopy Scot. Not most of the time anyway."

"And another cousin, right, your majesty?" Scarlett said as she got back to her feet. "You are lucky you found someone outside the family gene pool. It's a wonder any X-Man gets married!"
Then Scarlett realized what she just said and smacked her head. "OK, I give up. No matter what I say I am going to start an incident. My apologies for not being the queen of tact or common sense. I'll try to dial it back a few notches. Back to the matter at hand. This box is apparently a wedding-related gift, if not an actual wedding gift. The funny thing is, I don't think anything is in this crate. I can't feel any sort of presence, but the holes all over the place would make anybody think there is something alive inside the box."
Scarlett looked down into one of the holes and was more or less forced back by a gust of some sort spray. "Huh? Faerie dust? And it smells like peppermint...and Christmas cookies?"
As she looked at Crystal, Scarlett got this weird look on her face. "OK, Nick? Don't open until a specific date? Holiday smells? Your majesty, does Atlantis have a treaty with Santa Claus, or did I just drink too much before we got here? This is weird...even for the X-Men!"

Rogue huffed when Pixie used her for an example. Rogue folded her arms and leaned back in her chair as she was very uncomfortable
with the conversation and now she was brought into it.
“I hate to say it but Pixie is right. I hate to think where I would be today if the X-Men did not forgive me and gave me a chance. I am still
struggling with my mother being here but I also see her trying.” Rogue looked over at her husband Gambit to see his reaction. Gambit continued
eating his gumbo and ignored the conversation at least he was trying to ignore the conversation as his body language told her he was not happy
about the Apocalypse situation at all. She knew he did not want Mystique or Sabretooth around either. So she knew that he was not open to Apocalypse
at all. |

Dylan straightened his formal white trench coat, fedora, and grey silk bow tie for what felt like the hundredth time before he made his way into the room. He would be more comfortable in his weathered brown garb, minus the suffocating tie, but his new client insisted on them meeting at this formal occasion. "I'm not a bartender dude!" Boom Boom said to Davis as she had went over to where all the
other liquor was being kept.. The fairy wine was fun but Tabitha was a whisky girl and grabbed
a bottle when Dylan walked over and asked for Vodka..
"Your a new face I have not seen before.. I'm Tabitha.." She said as she grabbed a whole bottle
of vodka and handed it to him.. "We should join the others!" She spouted out as she grabbed his
hand and lead him to the giant table that all the X-Men and mutant guests were sitting.. A giant
hour glass shaped table with one side the moon and the other the sun.. A table made of magick
where everyone seemed all together even when sitting far apart..
"Hey guys I found a straggler who likes the hard stuff like me!" Boom Boom chuckled to herself..

many mutants that have been in danger and needed a safe home.. I have invited you here for
our celebration because I have became aware of your skills and reputation.. I hope tomorrow
after I make an important speech that we can talk about your future more.. For tonight I invite
you to join us for this meal and get to know our community!" Charles conveyed to Dylan just
as a bunch of young Atlantian children were peaking into the dome to see the X-Men out of
curiosity..

time a ride a horse is when I am on the back of Brightwind when Dani goes for a fly.. And
yes I have been to Asgard many times.. My sons dad is the Asgardian God Hrimhari.. We had
a short love affaire.." Rahne said as she felt a little strange saying it out loud and looked a bit
shy for a moment..

way over to her.. "Actually, to be honest, Citian," Scarlett said as she bit her lip, "I kind of figured the last person on Earth you or anyone else in the family would want to see is me. I have not exactly been the best Summers on the planet. And...I think Grandma Siofra sent me her so she could possess Mom."
Scarlett looked between her twin brother and Crystal and tried like hell not to start speaking like a madwoman. "I know. I sound crazy. I was in an asylum for a very long time, and the only reason I got out was Grandma and Uncle Mal. I..."
As she stood looking at Citian, she winced in pain. Whatever had happened to Scarlett at that asylum was still rattling around in her head, and being here seemed to be making it worse. She was not going to let the boogeymen in her mind win. She was a Summers, damn it all!
"Bro, when the partying ends tomorrow, maybe we better talk? About all that crap that happened. How's Rysta? And did I hear I should be called Auntie now?" Scarlett asked as she tried to push all the bad juju far back from the surface. She glanced at Jordan DaCosta and prayed she was not having the troubles Scarlett had been in recent days.
hope you can have a period of healing.. Rysta is sleeping one off as she had way too much
to drink and yes my son Jett is over there sitting with the younger X-Men.." Citian pointed
to his son who was talking with Pixie..

The P.I. put down the bottle of vodka and grabbed the whiskey from Tabitha. He took a healthy swig before grinning like the farm boy he was at heart. "How about you show this prairie dog around?"

“Old prairie dog?” Dazzler said as she walked over to join Dylan and Boom Boom as she was very concern about Tabitha’s mind set
with all the booze she had drank through the day and now night.
“You don’t look all that old to me. Then again mutants grow older slower than humans.” She said as she put her arm around Tabitha
as she swayed over to her.
“Please excuse my friend she has drank a lot and started early in the day.” Alison continued while she helped Boom Boom to her seat.
Once she got Tabitha stable in her seat she turned back around and faced Dylan.
“So The Professor said your here because of your skills and reputation. So tell me about yourself while you join me.” Dazzler pointed to
two empty seats at the table with two bowels of hot gumbo ready for anyone to dive into.
