While she has psionic and magic manipulating abilities her powers manifested more on the elemental side. She can manipulate plants and vegetation creating new species or manipulation of current plants to her desires.

Telekinesis: The ability to move and destroy with her mind
Mind control: The ability to control the minds of others

Personality - Brie seems to be fairly outgoing with a strong connection to the earth almost bordering on empathic. She cares quite a bit which has made it difficult for Orchis to institute the mental programming on her. Factoring in a motherly nature as well as a fierce nature to protect those she cares about.

They used available DNA sources to create their version of super soldiers as a deterent. The program was in its infant stages as Orchis was more interested in physical augmentation and as a result Brie is one of the first generation. She is one of the many being rescued by the various X-Men teams.
