Mirage and Karma came out of Magik’s portal on one of the Hover cycles with the huge gatling
guns on the front.. Dani sat piloting while Xi’an sat behind her with one of the rifles that was in
the armory.. “Hang on!” Mirage shouted when the cyborg-zombies began to shoot at them.. She
evaded the gun fire as best as she could as she banked to the side and around the structure of
what used to be a building.. The hover cycles took some hits but nothing serious.. “I am going to
bank around and get them from the side!” Dani shouted..

“I wish Tabitha was here she would love this type of action!” Karma said as she fired back with
her rifle before Mirage piloted the hover-cycle behind a ravaged building structure.. “Sounds good!.
I am going to take this on the ground!. Good luck!” Karma said as she fell back into a flip off of the
hovercraft and landed on her cybernetic leg.. She then ran for the building and kicked down what little
of the door that was left.. She quickly moved through the building and got to the other side and found
a good size hole in the wall and laid her rifle down across it.. Xi’an had a good view of the zombie army
and took aim.. She waited for Dani to come around the corner blasting her gatling gun before she opened
fire.. Hitting the army from two sides at once..

Both Daken and Old Man Logan moved together like two wolf pack animals towards the zombie army..
They were both taken by surprise when the zombies began to move quickly and fired upon them.. One
round hit Akihiro in the shoulder and went right through.. The shot spun him around as he fell to the ground..
“Fuck!” He spouted out as he rolled behind what used to be a bus.. Now it was shelter from the barrage of
bullets and time for his healing factor to kick in..

"Ah guess that's mah cue!" Ascensia said to herself flying through the portal as she was hit by a sentinels blast she smiled as her body glowed taking in the energy adding it to her strength.
"Mah turn!" She spouted with a sly grin before flying full force into the sentinels chest that attacked her.

Rainmaker took to the sky as her hands glowed she sent out a telepathic message to everyone fighting. Being here allowed her powers to become stronger due to her close proximity to the elements. ("I'm going to give you guys some cover from these abominations.") As a lightning storm picked up a heavy mist rolled in. She had a feeling the enemy they were facing on the ground had vision assistance but it would give her teammates a chance to flank .

“Okay Darlings, let's get to work.” Emma said as she felt a big jolt when she connected to both DireWolf and Midnight. There was a
big sensation that came over her physical and non physical self. It was a good feeling to reconnect to the Phoenix again without the
madness that took over her last time she had this experience. (THE ASTRAL PLANE) All three of them were now inside the astral dimension that Prodigy and Trinary shared with the girl called Jane that was the brain inside
the probe. Emma instantly felt overwhelmed by Jane’s desperation of wanting to die. Emma buckled over and both Jason and Midnight
grabbed a hold of her to keep her from falling to her knees. “Thank you Darlings! She recovered quickly as DireWolf and Midnight extended
more Phoenix power into her. “We need to untangle David from Jane!” Emma waved her hand and revealed many gold and blue cords connecting
Prodigy to Jane. The Blue cords are David’s and we need to cut them one at a time from Jane!” Emma said as she formed a knife in her hand and
started to cut one of the blue cords and then everyone could hear a loud roar as a robotic dragon appeared out of nowhere. “Of course it could not
be easy.” (THE ASTRAL PLANE) So much information was being processed through his mind that he became paralyzed by it. A small sense of relief came over him when Emma
cut the first thread that entangled him to Jane. David could tell that it was Emma that cut the thread and he had faith that he was going to be
rescued. |

The army of cyborg-zombies were now on site.. Once they saw the attack on the sentinel they
began to open fire their weapons upon the X-Men.. To the surprise of the X-Men they did not move
like zombies.. They ran and took cover and some took to the air using jet-packs..
returned fire in the direction of the zombie-borge and tried to cover the X-Men that were out there. |

behind half of what used to be a bus. Logan saw that Akihiro’s shoulder was healing from a real nasty shot to the shoulder. “You good kid?!”
He yelled out to Daken just as he could hear footsteps coming around the building that he was hiding behind. Old Man Logan sprung into
action just as the zombie-borge came around the wall. Logan’s claws went right into the chest and throat of the creature. |

Once the cyborg-zombies arrived and went on the attack, Psionica had to change her tactics. Because her true body had the bulk of her power and the Phoenix Force, Claire couldn't use her telepathy and telekinesis properly at the same time, so she went into combat mode. She wasn't a hand to hand fighter like her children were, but she had more than enough tricks up her sleeve to help out.
Claire placed one hand on the wall and used telekinesis to manipulate the matter along the walls, causing rocks and spikes to stick out in order to slow the zombies down and to make it harder for them to take aim at the X-Men. Once that was finished, Psionica began to throw up TK barriers to deflect the gunfire. Their disgusting behavior will never cease to amaze me!" she shouted at the sight and horror of the cyborg zombies.

Jason and slammed it’s tail across his body and sent him spinning into the darkness. |

OOC: Photo is to show what the wings actually look like. I had once used Hawkgirl pics for Kendra, but these wings are more her.

"OK, these World War Z things can fly? Crap on a stick!" Kendra yelled as she looked to make sure Jono was clear of her and popped her own wings. "Not wicked cool at all!"
Kendra grunted as she took off, mace in one hand and axe in the other, as the flying cyborg-zombies came after her. ((Babe, I'll be OK, and I am watching your back)) she said in her link to Chamber as she banked around what was left of a small building and seemed to be headed right back to Jono.
"Not so fast, you creepy critters!" she yelled as she hit the jet pack of the first with her mace before slicing off its head. She briefly grabbed the corpse and used the exhaust of its jet pack to push back the other cyborg-zombies closing on her. "Always pays to use good hand straps!" Kendra shouted as slammed her mace into the head of the second attacker before slicing into the third.
"Nope, not going that way!" Kendra said as she watched to see where Dani and Xi'an were so she did not wind up in their line of fire. "Back this way, you creepy Terminators!" she added as she banked again and tried to draw more of the flying horde toward her. ((Babe, you OK? I can try to get rid of these things unless you want to light them up?))

Roslea and Finola were tasked with the one thing they had never thought in a million lifetimes they would do--protect the telepaths from the cyborg-zombies.
"I know why, but Goddess, I am not my sister!" Roz said as Finola shook her head. "I am not any of them!"
"And for this day, it is likely good you are not, or you would be out there trying your best to behead these wretched things! Now, did your brother-in-law give you lessons with guns, or is it by sheer force of will that you can make that behemoth firearm work? My beloved showed me many things about his weaponry, and I am most thankful he did."
Roz glared at Finola as she tried to keep her actual eyes open for attackers getting into the tunnel and used her "third eye" to watch the goings on on the astral plane.
"Can you fight a dragon?" Roslea asked as Finola gave her an odd look. "Because one entered the astral plane!"
"How do you know..." Finola asked as she saw Roz's eyes go white as she seemed to connect with those fighting to free Prodigy and Trinary. "Of course. Are you there or here?"
"Both," Roz said as her eyes returned to normal. "And I have no idea how to help them."

((THE ASTRAL PLANE))
“Thank you Mara!” Emma called out to Midnight as she formed a crystal looking spear and threw
it at the robotic looking dragon. The side of the dragon exploded when the spear hit. “How is this
possible?!” Emma spouted out as she felt artificial intelligence taking the form of a dragon in the
astral plane which should be impossible.
