With the help of Moira Beast grabbed one of the rail-guns on the transport and started to rip it off..
Moira swung her sword and hit the right spot causing the rail-gun to separate from the transport
and then he grabbed his head and fell to his knees as he became disoriented as his younger self
moved back through time and those memories began to flood back to his mind..

Desdemona was not making as quick a work of her Hound attackers as she had hoped to be at this point, and Major X was having more "fun" of his own with the Bear Hound.
While Des understood the need to take these people back and help them, part of her wanted to be done with it and dispatch them all to the Netherworld.
Then she "felt" what happened to Cable and to her mother.
It made no damned sense. A younger version of Cable killed his older self? Then Cable's spirit merged with the part of his arm her mother wore like a Witchblade on her own?
As she used one end of her staff to slam the brown haired Hound in the gut, she spun and kicked the blonde Hound back into the side of a bus. The attack would likely not deter either of them for long, and she feared she'd need to resort to more magical means to take down these foes.
She waited to see what Major X had seen regarding his father's death, but she feared asking him about it in the middle of this fight.
"I'm sorry, Alexander," she whispered as she sent a demonic blast at the blonde Hound, taking her out of the fight for the moment.
Hound he was fighting and a few others that were around him.. He then went into a roll and came up shooting
the Hound that attacked Desdemona out.. He hurried over to her and scooped her close to him as he kept firing..
“My father’s death felt different..” He said as he heard her whisper with the enhanced hearing of his helmet..
“Something was different..” He repeated as they saw Kid Omega floating up in the air with his telekinetic energy
surrounding his body like a Phoenix Raptor.. |

Quentin was taken by surprise when he felt a familiar force ignite inside of him. He had been one of the beings in the universe that
carried a part of the Phoenix. He sacrificed that power to bring back Jubilee from death, curing the vampirism at the same time. It
was a huge loss for him and he thought that he would never feel that part of himself again until now. He was in the White Hot Room
with his wife Cosmos at his side. She was not a Phoenix but her mutant powers had her bonded to the cosmic forces of the universe.
Every and Quentin shared a psychic bond so she came with him to The White Hot Room naturally.
(This is so cool!) He thought but it became clear that his thoughts were shared by everyone. He took a moment to see all the information
everyone was thinking.
(So we are on the cusp of something of a new age for mutant kind.)

“What the Hell is going on!” Domino shouted as she kept shooting Hounds with her guns on stun in each hand. She saw Kid Omega
create a Phoenix like raptor with telekinetic powers with Cosmos merging with him floating up into the air just as a teen looking Cable
took out the Young Iceman and ported away. To top it off a couple huge winged demons landed in the street.
“This is becoming a crazy mess!” She called out as she switched her guns off of stun to full energy with her thumbs and aimed at the
demons and started to shoot at them.

This was the part that never fully made sense to Kari if she were being truly honest with herself and everyone else.
Since birth she had been the avatar of The Morrigan, the battle goddess of the people of Ireland. The connection had lasted for centuries despite Merlin taking her body and soul and scattering it to millions of places across the multiverse.
She had seemingly lost her connection for a time when she first joined the X-Men as a clumsy, untrained late bloomer mutant, but the Goddess came roaring back into her life at the end of the Summers War when Kari seemingly gave her life in the Sentinel Hive Mind to save her family and friends. Thank heaven that death didn't stick.
It wasn't until an adventure back across time to the Camelot and Avalon of her youth that the Askani Phoenix came into being, another gift at the end of battle to help her and the X-Men prevail against evil.
And now here she was, hovering in the White Hot Room with Jean and the others as she listened to talk of what was to come. It reminded Kari way too much of the nights at home in the MacFeorais grand hall, fire blazing and wine flowing all around, with Kari and her siblings talking about the futures ahead of them. Even they realized that most of those dreams would turn to dust one day.
Such was the problem with immortality. If you lived long enough, most of your hopes and desires crashed and burned.
But it didn't mean you could not hope for better and work toward making it a reality.
Seeing all her children there who had been touched by the Phoenix gave Kari a small measure of peace despite what had happened to Nathan, even if they had no idea at first why they were there. And she prayed that this time, this one in a million chance for a brighter tomorrow, would actually work out this time.
The Witchblade on her arm glowed softly as she felt Nathan's presence there, but he also stood beside her for all to see. She just needed to hang on and keep him safe, and she prayed she would be up to thee task.

Rachel woke up laying on the ground of the parking lot next to Karenza and Citian.. Her head was throbbing
in pain from the Phoenix removing the Hound programing from her mind.. She was still surprised and confused
by Nate Grey’s appearance in the White Hot room before he casted them out.. She saw Bethany slam her battle
mace across a demon's head as she hurried over to them..
“Jean is missing!.” Rachel said as she tried to pull herself together..

As Quentin began waking up from his Phoenix like trance he felt someone grab a hold of him when he realized that he was falling.
He opened his eyes to see that Spider Man had grabbed a hold of as he was falling.
“Thank you Professor!” Quentin said as he looked and saw his wife Cosmos floating to the ground slowly and conscious.
Before he could say anything more a demon with long wings was flying right at them so he sent a telekinetic blast from his hand
hitting the demon in the face.
“Where in the Hell did that come from! No pun intended!”

“Bloody Hell we have demons now?!” Black Tom said after he was able to entangle many hounds with tree roots coming out of the
ground. He had to move quickly to slam his club across the head of a demon that came at him out of nowhere. Once the demonic
creature was knocked back Black Tom blasted it with his thermokentic blast.
“How are you doing sweetie?!” Tom said to his daughter as he looked over to her.

“I knew this was going to be crazy but I did not see demons coming into this fight I have to say!” Vanessa pulled out her gun and
switched off the stun setting and aimed at a demon that was flying at her and Deadpool and began to blast it in the head until it
fell to the ground and tumbled up close to them.
“A friend or family member of your ex maybe?” She teased Deadpool and gave him a wink.

Before Kari could say a word to Jean she was back in the "real world" with Citian and Rachel at her side. "Rachel, I am so happy to see you!" Kari said as she briefly hugged her sister-in-law before tending to Citian. Bethany was likely more than able to handle the demons that were landing in their zone for the moment, but it could not go on forever. "We will find Jean. That is a promise. But first we need to get rid of these damned things. And my scaly doppelganger. Citian, can you stand?"
"I've got him," Bethany said as her eyes flashed a deep violet before sending a wave of mystic energy at the oncoming demons. "Just like you've got his dad," Erinyes said as she pointed to Karenza's arm. "But we need to shut Stryfe and Cailleach down fast."
"I know, and the fact Cailleach has a new trick annoys the hell out of me," Kari said through gritted teeth as she thought about any family lore about dragon transformation. "Mal isn't here, or I'd ask him about that. I just pray they are holding the line wherever the fight is taking them."
The MacFeorais family link had gone wonky, so Kari was not fully aware of what anyone outside Manhattan was fighting at this point. She had gotten bits and pieces of things, but she was not getting full pictures.
"Rachel, is the Phoenix the way we might be able to end the Hound part of this faster? I don't want to try it and kill anyone."

"I've got you," Bethany said to Citian as her blast knocked back the demon onslaught. "I do not know what hole these things crawled out of, but I will be very happy when they return to it."
Bethany used her finger to draw a small sigil on Citian's arm, a way to help him heal while she went after their attackers. She swung her mace, looking at it briefly as it took the head off one demon. It was the mace of one of the Death Angels, the force that Kendra Athonlea and her sister Kildare had found out they were created for ages ago before the great MacFeorais family quest pulled everyone apart. Bethany did not remember Kendra giving it to her, and she was sure it wasn't Kildare's. Maybe she had gotten it in her travels with Finola Marlowe in that horrible bit of dimension hopping they did before landing back here. She was not remembering any of it very clearly at the moment.
"Abaddon," Bethany whispered as a the face of an older man with white hair and goatee and piercing pale blue eyes flashed in her mind. "Father?"
A demon flew toward Bethany, but a shot sent the thing falling to the ground in a heap. "What the hell?" Bethany asked as she felt her hands shake for just a moment. She looked where the shot had come from, and JJ Delson stood there waving to her and pointing at a new crop of flying interlopers overhead.

JJ just stared in amazement as Bethany seemingly froze while a demon was flying at her.
"Well, ain't this special," she said under her breath as she adjusted the setting on her gun and killed the demon before it touched Bethany. JJ pointed upward to show another bunch of flying rejects from the latest Dungeons and Dragons movie were dropping into the fight.
"I'll cover you guys until you are all on your feet again!" JJ shouted as she kept firing on the demons. "I hope Fantomex is doing better at the moment."

Ahab began to realize the situation was going bad when he was about to order for his ship the Pegoud to
go back into cloak before the airforce jets arrived and the ship took a round of blasts. Each blast hit important
parts of the ship to cripple its cloaking device and fifty six percent of the weapon systems.
The bridge lights turned red as the A.I. System began to read off all the damage The Peqoud had taken. “Evasive
maneuvers!” Ahab called out as he held onto the arms of his chair as the ship tried to dodge EVA’s attacks.. EVA
was much smaller and faster as she came around for more blast across the side of The Peqoud.. ‘Shields!!.. Take
us higher and then full burn home!” Ahab shouted as he had no choice but to leave everyone behind..
“Nova!. Stryfe!.. The Peqoud has taken serious damage and we have no choice but to head back to base!. You must
retreat, this is no longer feasible!” Ahab sent out a message just before the ship disappeared with a loud sonic boom..
