Hound-Rachel was disappointed when Cable and the others disappeared before her eyes.. She
looked back at the Shadow King to see him in a meditated like state as he delved deeper into
the power of his shadow dimension around the island.. Hound-Rachel could feel it and she could
feel that her brother and the others had somehow entered into the mind of the Shadow King’s host
body.. Amahl Faroak unknown to him.. For her that was his problem to deal with.. She had her own..
“Your mind link with me gives you away!” Hound-Rachel yelled out to Ravager as he found himself
unable to move.. At that moment she felt that Jean Grey was close by and knew that was the biggest
threat that needed to be dealt with so she used the metal shrapnel in her hand and cut Hope Summers
throat and threw her down on top of Ravager.. She then waved her hand and Ravager.. Hope and Namor
went flying through the air and into an area filled with black smoke.. Hound-Rachel then flew in the direction
of Jean Grey..

Nova said with a smile.. She could feel Jean’s worry and Vulcan’s anger building and she loved
every moment of it..
“Your mistake.. false Emperor.. is to ignore the Shi’ar prophecies about me..” Nova said as she
turned to her left to see Hound-Rachel hovering at her side..
“Well hello child.. You came just at the right time.. I am sure you and your mother have some
things to work out..”

“RACHEL!?” Jean spouted out as she saw her daughter fly over to Cassandra Nova’s side..
Jean tries to connect to Rachel telepathically but she hit a psi-wall.. It was not any normal
Psy-wall.. It was the same type of wall that was a part of Ahab’s Hound transformation..
“Was it Faroak or you that did this to my daughter!?” Jean shouted out as she became angry..
Like Rachel, her telekinetic energy covered her body like fire..
“Rachel, you need to fight this!” Jean shouted to her daughter just as she flew at Jean with the
appearance of a Phoenix Raptor around her.. Jean did the same as mother and daughter began
to engage in a battle.. From the sky it looked like two Phoenix’s fighting..

Hope did not feel the pain at first.. It was when she started to choke she understood what had
happened to her.. She was barely conscious when Rachel had her in her arms.. When Hound-Rachel
tossed her onto Ravager and then used her telekinesis to throw them and Namor out into the dark
smoke.. Hope copied Ravager’s healing factor to heal herself.. In mid air Namor grabbed them and
landed on the ground next to Gambit.. Rogue.. Armor and Forge..
“Thank you.. Magestery!” Hope said to Namor as both Ravager and Hope sat up from the ground..

Namor nodded to Hope and then folded his arms and faced Forge as he began to explain everything
that was happening with Ray and that Storm and the others were going to find them through the
tunnel that Storm had made through the smoke..
“We should go before the tunnel disappears!” Namor said as he led the way to try and catch up to the
others..

A dagger guided by the wind hit one of the shadow Ray’s in the head.. The shadow copy turned
into ash instantly.. Storm used a knife that was blessed by a Wakanda Shaman..
“By the light of the Goddess!” Storm spouted as she saw everything that was happening.. Suddenly
one of the Shadow Raiden’s unleashed black lighting at Ororo.. It looked like Storm grabbed the black
lightning with her hands.. At first it looked like it hurt Storm and it did but somehow she sent it back to
the shadow Raiden.. When Ororo sent it back it was no longer black but back to normal lightning when
it struck him.. It hurt him a bit but he was still standing.. Both Storm and the shadow Raiden flew towards
one another to engage in combat.. Suprema and Jubilee were right behind her as they aided Scarlet..

“This is going to be a bit tricky!” Gambit said as they followed Namor out of the smoke and into
the battle with the Shadow Raiden’s.. Namor had already flown into a shadow Raiden and began
slugging away at it.. Suprema did the same as Jubilee unleashing her fireworks at the group of them..
Gambit reached down and scooped up two handfuls of stones and began to charge them..
“Is that a dark Phoenix that has Ray Chere?” Gambit said to Rogue as he could not believe his eyes..

Nehzno dropped from the air and hit the ground like a bomb and caused an explosion of gravel
and stone in the center of the horde that was attacking Cyclops and the team that was with him..
Gentle was the size of a sentinel and was not alone.. On his back was Wolverine-Laura and Scout..
Both ladies sprung from his back and into battle..

“We thought that you guys needed a little back up!” Laura shouted to Cyclops and the others
as she slashed a spider demon and then what used to be a sentinel that became some sort of
demon..
At the same time transports from the carrier began to land on the ground with more soldiers and
personnel began to rush out.. Adding to the chaos..

“Your timing is perfect as always!” Cyclops responded to Laura as he reached out and grabbed
Havok by the arm..
“The fuel tanks on the transports!” He said to Havok as he nodded in response.. Both Cyclops
and Havok began targeting the gas tanks on the transports.. Each blast causing massive explosions
taking out Orchis and the Horde around them..

There was one thing Scarlett forgot while she was locked away in that loony bin in Cali.
She forgot she had a family. Not just a family by blood. A family formed like no other by shared trials and pain.
Her great grandma Siofra had, more or less, tried to "weapons program" it out of her during her time in the asylum. The docs there had her bouncing off the walls at times. The same happened to Jordan DaCosta and that kid Harry Sutton. Scarlett and Jordan had both been helped by the X-Men's healers to get that crap out of their skulls, and she prayed Harry would go get help when he was ready.
As she prepared to go after the Shadow Father Askani herself, Scarlett was happily surprised to find Storm, Jubilee, Rogue, Gambit, Forge and Armor jumping into the fight around her. They were all pulling together to save Ray.
"Thank you all! They are nasty, so watch your backs!" Scarlett shouted as she formed her own psimitar and ran toward Father Askani, waiting for the black lightning bolts to start flying and hit her.
"Let me get this straight. From the Books of the Askani, most recent additions to it I mean, you popped up like crab grass when we were fighting in that crazy dimension with The Crone. All big and silent and super creepy. A shadow of the guy Ray may become, but a shadow all the same. Trying to horn in on what was my gig. The Dark Side died, you Darth Sidious wannabe, when Europa and Mecha got tossed into the literal abyss. I got my ass handed to me, and so will you. Shadow you. Regular you. Just leave Ray alone!"
Scarlett put a TK shield up to try to deflect any incoming lightning lobbed by Shadow Father Askani. "Figures I'd get the one who doesn't trash talk," she said as she charged at the shadowy figure and prayed this multi-pronged attack would weaken all the shadow forms so Ray could break free of this mess.

The healing serum made Hisako feel better than she had in a long time. She was in her full armored form when she leaped into the battle
and landed next to Scarlet.
“I got your back!” Armor shouted to Scarlet as she slugged a shadow Ray as hard as she could, making the evil duplicate fly backwards into
a tree. She then spun around in a roundhouse kick taking out another as she asserted herself into the fight. She was happy that they came
in force to help her and Ray.

“Scott, we need to push forward and join the rest of the team in front of the facility!” Alex said as he turned around and faced in the direction they
needed to go. When Cyclops gave him the nod he sent out the widest blast he could create to make a pathway forward.

Genn was slashing and kicking everything that was not a mutant. At this time in the battle there were the demon spiders and demons. All
the soldiers and sentinels had all transformed into the demonic monsters. The only difference was that the demons made of metal were the
sentinels.
Ghost joined both Laura/Wolverine and Scout taking the lead going forward through the path that Havok had created. The three of them were
a perfect hacking and slashing team.
“We should reach the others real soon!” Ghost declared to the rest of the team just as one of the dragons came down and blasted fire to clear
more of the way for them.
