Divine Empowerment: Kellie, like many others who were involved in Nathan Pliskin's section of Weapon Plus, was once greatly enhanced with cybernetic implants. Her cybernetics failed her and eventually became useless, and she is now powered by residual energy given to her by Tytanic, of which was actually the lingering energy of Kuja's son/clone Jinzu.. Because of this, she was given many of her abilities back that she had in common with the two.
Graviton Manipulation: Since the activation of Novera's mutant gene, her powers of flight have expanded into a more general manipulation of gravity. However, tests can't determine whether or not these gravity powers are her mutant powers.
Mystery Mutant Gene: Likely due to her gaining powers from Tytanic's energy, Kellie's X-Factor gene activated much later in her life. So while she does register as a mutant, no power has actually been detected. It's assumed that her gravity powers are connected to this, but no one knows for sure.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Moderate hand to hand fighting skills she still remembers from her Weapon Plus programming as well as real life fighting experience.
WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT
Mental Trigger: Just like Tytanic, Novera's physical abilities require a trigger and conscious choice in order to be used, so she's not always at full power. While he's almost always in some enhanced state, Novera is more likely to be walking around near Spider-Man's power levels than her full strength, so not expecting an attack could put her in more danger than expected since she's vulnerable to guns and knives at her lower levels of power or of those abilities are just turned off.

Powers
- Superhuman Strength: Thanks to the energy Tytanic has given her, Novera regained superhuman strength. Though she's still within the Class 100 range, she's nowhere near as powerful as she once was. When her strength was driven by cybernetics, she was at one point capable of lifting upwards of 40,000 tons with full exertion. Now she's reduced to several hundred tons.
- Superhuman Durability: She has proven that she is capable of taking damage that would be more than enough to completely obliterate a normal individual, from gunfire to explosions. Novera isn't anywhere near as durable as she used to be, however.
- Superhuman Speed: The mechanical enhancement of her body has allowed Kellie to move far faster than even the most fit humans can achieve, and even most superhumans. Kellie is capable of dodging gunfire, outrun race cars, and even match speeding aircraft. She is capable of reaching Mach 2 while on foot.
Graviton Manipulation: Since the activation of Novera's mutant gene, her powers of flight have expanded into a more general manipulation of gravity. However, tests can't determine whether or not these gravity powers are her mutant powers.
- Flight: Novera is able to defy gravity and fly through the air. She can move in any direction she chooses, and is even capable of hovering in place. Like she can on the ground, Kellie is able to move at superhuman speeds through the air. Her maximum speed is is Mach 6.
- Gravitic Reinforcement: By manipulating the gravity fields of objects she touches, Novera and increase the amount of force required for objects to break under stress, which makes it easier for her to lift heavy objects and use makeshift weapons without worrying that an enemies durability would limit the amount of possible damage. The amount of extra force depends on the type of item. She can throw a clay pot and make it hurt like a punch from the Hulk, use a titanium rod like it was made from solid Adamantium, but she can't make a paper ball end a fight no matter who she throws it at.

History: Kellie was just a normal human runaway until she was snatched off of the streets by Weapon Plus and augmented into a killing machine. After her enhancements, she was shipped to The World in Europe, where she undergone further experimentation, with the expectation that she would become a hyper-evolved superweapon. When the X-Men attacked The World, she was released significantly earlier than expected and immediately targeted Kuja Zeyu, and took him out in one blow before the X-Men could retreat. When she met up with Kuja once again, they engaged in combat, which then seemed to be ending in a stalemate. During this fight, Kellie started gaining respect for Kuja, because no one else in The World could put up as much of a fight against her as he did.
Little did she know that her fight with Kuja and her excitement over it was quickly breaking through her mental programming since she hadn't been in the program long enough for it to fully take hold. And when the Weapon Plus soldiers inside of The World started turning against the citizens, the two put their fight on hold to save them. Realizing her programming was broken, she was set free and followed the X-Men back to Xavier's Institute. Without officially joining any team, she helped them out from time to time, and eventually created a bond with Kuja and his cloned son Jinzu, with them becoming like her family.

When Jinzu died, she did her best to keep Kuja's spirit's up, but she knew she couldn't take his place. She didn't officially join the X-Men until Jinzu's body was stolen from his grave, as she wanted to do her part in finding the party responsible. That road would lead to several encounters with the Dark Althena, who not only stole Jinzu's body from the grave, but revived him as an abomination that would plague her and the other X-Men.
Unfortunately, she was one of the X-Men captured by Nathan Pliskin and Weapon Plus through the manipulation of nanomachines in her body and used as a weapon to capture the Mutant Messiah. Eventually, thanks to Armitage and the X-Men, Kellie was rescued from the clutches of Weapon Plus. The downside was that she discovered that her cybernetics were degrading. This all came to a climax during the Skrull Invasion of Earth when her cybernetics finally gave out, forcing Kuja to sacrifice himself to save her life. Fortunately, Tytanic was reborn and seemingly evolved during the conflict and gave the excess amount of his power to Kellie, granting her similar powers as her father figure. No longer dependent on cybernetic implants, she has changed her codename to Novera per Althena's suggestion, although she has no idea of the meaning behind the name.

She continued to be with the X-Men until their schism and when they broke off into factions, Kellie followed Wolverine back to New York until she found things too weird with even Kuja gone, so she went off and joined the Young Avengers and Champions while also dividing her time in the southwest as well, where that part of the United States didn't have as many well known superheroes.
