“I think that would be a great spot for all of you and a perfect spot for a farm. Maybe we can find some livestock for your farm around here. I would like
to help in any way I can.” Jason said to the younger X-Men as he hung out with his sister Rose.
“It looks like Akihiro and Aurora are already in the lake. Should we join them? We have about a half an hour before the sun sets.”
“I can not put into words how happy I am to have you back. Your death was very hard and I hoped that the Phoenix would not take you away from us when it worked
very hard to create us in the first place. I will be forever grateful that she brought you back.” Dark Red said as she gave her brother a hug and then went into a run and
peeling off her clothes on the way and then dived into the lake with Jason following behind her. |

Aurora was surprised by Magik’s portal and how it worked. She grabbed a hold of Daken’s arm when they started to sink into the ground. It felt like being
on some sort of ride as the world kind of spinned around.
“That was an experience!” Jeanie said as she could tell by Daken’s expression that he was not used to it as well. Looking around, everyone else was a lot
more used to it than them.
“This place is cool! I am looking forward to that swim!” She said as she eyed the waterfall.
many times.. As you could tell I have not..” Akihiro explained as he took his tabi shoes off and then went
into a run and then dived into the lake and swam over to where the waterfall was.. He turned to face Aurora
and motioned for her to come and join him under the waterfall..
“This is so much fun, Akihiro. I really needed this and I think you did too.” She said as she swam over to the side and laid across a boulder that was half in the water and
the other half on the land.
“This island is truly a paradise.” Aurora said just as Dark Red dived into the lake and then Direwolf.

“That would be perfect for a farm and I would love any help I can get to find animals like cows and chickens for sure!” Glob was very excited about the
possibilities for his farm.
“This place is so awesome! I love it here so much!”
and Gambit’s. We are sharing a home together. I expect some amazing meals to come from you.” Pixie said as she looked back at the sounds of laughter coming from
the lake.
“I do not know about all of you but I am joining the fun!” Pixie said as she created a portal in front of her and jumped through. A portal opened above the lake and she
came down in a dive into the lake. |

"You were all so young back then," Kendra said as she looked at the beautiful painting of the original Gen X crew that Duskk had created. "Duskk, that is amazing! I am so glad you did that for everyone."
Kendra couldn't help but think back to what her youth had been like in her home dimension. They had never had a Gen X in her reality. Not like this one anyway. No New Mutants either. Everyone that could fight was considered an X-Man, and at times she wished she had been able to train like this world's mutant student body and not slammed into fighting so quickly. She, Aidan Priest, Dylan Summers and Chloe Gwydion were made into their own squad due to necessity, and at times it is a wonder she was the last one standing.
"I wish I'd had this way back in the day before I got so battle crusty," she said softly as she looked at Jono. "I am more than happy to have it now, though. More than you will ever know."

“I have an idea that I think that I can do. At least I hope that I do not mess this one up. I have
never done this before so here we go!” Duskk announced as he took a step back from the group
hug and concentrated on an image of a photo that Monet had of all the original Generation X team
all together in their uniforms during the first year of class under the care of Emma Frost and Banshee..
He waved his hands towards the main wall between the kitchen and the living room. With every movement
of his hands and fingers the image began to form on the wall as if he was painting it with magic.
“It worked!” Duskk said very pleased with what he was able to do.

Jubilee handed Shogo to Paige.
“Now that we have our place and everything is settled on the island. Gallion and I are going to Muir to join the fight. Thank you Paige
for watching my little man.” Jubilee kissed Shogo on the forehead and took Revolver’s hand and headed towards Pixie.
“Okay Pix we are ready!” Jubilee called out as Pixie opened a portal and they both jumped through.

“I have not had this much fun in a long time, Akihiro!” Aurora said as she threw her arms around Daken and kissed him.
“Seriously I now understand what my brother had been saying all this time. I have not been around a mutant community or felt like I
could be a part of something as important as this. Being around everyone I understand what Jean Paul was trying to say. I really like
where this is going and I want to be a part of it.”

Illyana motioned for the New Mutants to come join her as she had something wanted to tell them.
“The Professor reached out to me and he wants the New Mutants on standby. So be ready to move out if we get the call. Whatever is going
on Muir it might spread out to other locations and the Professor wants all combat trained teams on standby and that is us.” Magik announced
to her team.

Mal stood near Magik, but he tried not to inject himself into the conversation just yet. Any of his blood kin--in this case Chetna, Ashvin, Kai, Thomas, Aerfen, Ardan, Fachtna and Eavan--likely felt what he was feeling. Kendra did not share MacFeorais or DalCais blood, so she was spared this nonsense. He looked around for a MacLeod, but none seemed to be nearby.
"Mal? What is going on?" Aerfen asked her cousin as he tried to shake off what he was feeling.
"That spellwork Hayley and Sydney MacLeod did is coming back to bite them, and we are all getting a front row seat. I, for one, would like to miss out on that mess," he said as he looked toward Illyana once more. "Better to tend to what is at hand first."
Mal took a deep breath before putting his arm around Illyana and smiling at her. "I can have my dragons there at a moment's notice. Just give me the word."

“One moment the Professor is contacting me..” Illyana said as she closed her eyes and lowered
her head for a moment.. A few minutes later she raised her head and opened her eyes..
“Everyone, the Mansion is about to be attacked by Orchis! Prepare for battle!” Magik announced
as she then turned to Mal and placed her hand on his shoulder..
“We will need those dragons at the mansion..” She said with excitement in her voice..
Magik then formed one of her disks under the New Mutants feet.. The New Mutants sunk into the
disk and disappeared..

“The sun is starting to go down. We should head back to the city and rejoin everyone soon.” Rose said as she sat on a boulder close to the
lake with her brother Direwolf and her husband Rockslide.
“I wonder what is going on back in the city.” Rose was also trying to not think about the rest of her family that was on Muir island. A part of
her wished that she joined them but she also enjoyed hanging out exploring Krakoa with her friends.

“I guess it’s time to go.” Aurora said as she heard both Rose and Surge bring up the city as the sun was now going down behind the mountain.
She took a moment to watch the beauty of the sunset.
“I have been living on a space station for so long that it has been a while since I have seen a sunset like this one.” Jeanie Marie said to Daken as
she leaned her head onto his shoulder. She connected telepathically to her twin brother Northstar that she would be seeing him soon with the others.

“I can not believe Milo is gone.” Monet said to Duskk as they walked outside together.
“I am going to miss him and I just hope that he finds the happiness that he wants.” She said as she leaned over and kissed his cheek. “It looks
like everyone is heading back to the city. We should join them.” She said as she took a hold of his hand.
