Gentle caught Trinary in his arms and put her over his shoulder as he ran for the dragon with
Natalie flying above them..
“Trinary is out cold!” Nezhno said as he handed her over to Juggernaut who was already on the
dragon before he climbed on..
“First time on a dragon.” He said as he was excited and nervous..

It was such a relief for Cable to hear his fathers voice over the com-line and take command..
Cable and Karenza fought back to back and slowly moved closer to the front of the station..
Then something very unexpected happened.. Some sort of explosion came out of nowhere
and tossed both Cable and Karenza into the air.. Cable grabbed a hold of his wife in mid air
and both of them put up a telekinetic field around them as they landed on the ground..
The explosion was a black fire and smoke that shaped into a giant black dragon that towers over
them.. At a closer look the dragon was made up of thousands of spiders.. The eyes of the dragon
glowed red..
(Kari you okay?) Cable said to Kari as she saw the look in her eyes.. She knew what the dragon was
and wanted to hurt it real bad..

The explosion caught Alexander off guard as he flew back and smashed into a boulder real hard..
In the explosion he lost his sword and reached down and pulled his particle pistol and aimed it at
the dragon and opened fire on it.. The blast did nothing but pissed the spider dragon off.. It swung
its massive tail at him as he tried to dodge but the tail slammed into him and he disappeared into
darkness.. It felt like he was floating in space but there were no stars or planets.. Just complete
darkness.. He then could hear his mother, the Storm of his world screaming out in pain..
“Mom!!.. Where are you!” He called out to her.. Off in the distance he saw a giant web floating with
his mother encased in a cocoon up to her neck.. A giant spider was slowly climbing towards her.. He
was helpless to get to her..

“I got you son!” Logan shouted as he caught Seth in the air when the explosion had happened..
Both of them hit the side of a boulder Seth’s armor protected him.. Cair formed an armor around
herself that also protected herself from the impact.. All of them looked up and saw the dragon
made of spiders standing over them.. Logan recognized the creature not from what he saw but
from what he was feeling from it.. Everyone could feel a dark dread of darkness wash over their
souls..
“Fuck!. It’s the Shadow King!” Spouted Logan.

BACK IN THE OCEAN....
(I got this!) Rachel said telepathically to everyone that was in the ocean..
Rachel gathered all her energy and created a telekinetic field around her that looked like a Phoenix
raptor and began to battle the sentinel.. The wings under the ocean allowed her to move quickly into
position as her talons sunk into the sentinels chest and pushed it away from everyone.. Allowing Hope
and Namor to make their move..

Namor’s trident came back to him as Rachel engaged the sentinel in combat.. Namor slipped
down and saw the underground filtering system and ripped the door off with one hand and
entered inside with Hope.. They waited there for the others to join them..

It took everything Trinary got to slice through the wall with her VR sword.. Once the wall split
opened she quickly slipped in and saw the essence of Nightmare with hundreds of cords connected
all over her body.. Trinary quickly cut the cords and jumped out of the program once she freed her
and passed out..

Once the two women were away from the fight Elda quickly turned her attention to the fight above as she rocketed into the sky wrapped in the fire that was responsible for her creation. As she floated with some of the team she saw the dark creature in front of them and felt the evil radiating off of it.
"That is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen!" She spouted.

Dana was never too comfortable being off the ground or using her mental powers. She was a mutant created from the cells of Jean Grey and Wolverine
by the Phoenix. Like her siblings and the others that the Phoenix Force created had fused her essence in their creation. Dana understood that she was a
Phoenix just as much as a mutant. She understood that she needed to push herself more. So that is how she found herself in this position.
Suprema looked like a missile launched from Muir island. Cannonball would have been impressed by how perfect her launch was from the ground and that
she was inspired by him with this attack. In her full metal Colossus like form powered by her telekinesis she hit the hover carrier from the belly of the ship
causing a massive explosion. Dana covered herself with her mental field as she laid in the middle of a fire with metal beams on top of her. She broke out of
the rubble like Juggernaut smashing through the X Mansion.
The first thing Dana noticed was the alarms going off and all the lights were red. She quickly batted away a man sized sentinel with her shield and sliced another
with her sword.
(Mom I am okay. I am in the carrier and I am engaged in combat!) Suprema mentaly connected to Jean.

(We are coming.) Jean responded to Suprema in their mental link as she flew towards the hover carrier.
(Vulcan follow me in, we need to cause a bit of trouble.) Jean said as she used her telekinetic powers to form a field around her as she flew into the
hanger bay. With her telekinetic force she pushed everyone in the bay back and waited for Vulcan to come join her. At that moment is when Jean heard
Storm’s message about the Shadow King.

"Will you both shut up?" Kari screamed as she tried to calm the voices of The Morrigan and The Askani Phoenix as they each tried to get her to exact revenge on The Shadow King and Cassandra Nova. Her scream set off many of her teammates from their game, but not Nathan because he knew how bad the "voices in her head" could get at times. "Sorry, Nathan. Back seat drivers. I know what I'm doing."
Kari looked to see Wind Dancer and Major X going to try to rescue their mother Storm, and she was going to give them all the help they could get. She just prayed what she was looking for was still there.
{{Where is it?}} Kari thought as she reached out with her mind to find something that had been shoved into the most inconspicuous of places near an outer building near the labs. She prayed that none of Orchis' damned interlopers had found it.
"Amahl Farouk, you never change, you duplicitous bastard!" Kari shouted to try to get the madman's attention diverted for the briefest of moments. "What did your new masters promise you for this? What was left of our carcasses? Some plot of land they tell you will never be touched so you can be free? What price are you willing to pay for all this? I am sure it is, in reality, higher than you or I could ever imagine!"
Kari kept moving, mystically sweeping for the prize she was searching for. {{Adrian, you saved us once. I hope your gift is still here, even if you may not be}}
As Kari stared at the spider dragon, she felt the slight "ping" of the thing she was looking for. Cailleach's box, or what was left of it, came flying out of a crack in the craggy rocks of Muir Island. The box was made of the nine sacred woods of a bonfire--birch, rowan, ash, alder, willow, hawthorn, oak, holly and hazel--and elder, the one wood you never burned because it was the Lady's Tree.
{{A piece of home, Nathan}} Kari said telepathically to her husband as the small bits of wood seemed to be absorbed into Kari's body. She smirked at The Shadow King as she made a run at the spider dragon and leaped at its underbelly with her double bladed axe. "Not today, you bloody bastard!" she yelled as she took her first swing.

created and joined everyone in some sort of sub level under the Muir science facility. All of them took a moment to sit on the ground to catch their breath before
continuing on.
“What is this place?” Jackson asked as he looked around and saw a lot of technology and began to figure out what he was seeing. “Is this some sort of water filtering
system and hydro power unit?”

Storm leave with Jean and Vulcan and felt her in the air above him.
(It’s a trap!) Quentin yelled with his mind as his field shrunk down into what looked like a knight's armor with a shield and sword and flew in behind Karenza.
When he went into the spider dragon everything was black and he could see a thing. Quentin then heard whistling and a light coming towards him. As the
light headed towards him he could see figures in the light until he recognized who they were. They were the Omega gang, a group of students he had gathered
back when he first went to the academy. They looked different like they were turned into demons. There was even a demonic Glob which really tripped him out.
“You're not real!” Quentin shouted as Radian blasted Kid Omega with lighting which was followed up with Glob punching him in the face as hard as he could. Which
almost knocked him out cold.
