As Jean and Scott kissed.. Their minds merged and all the information of everything that had
happened the past few days was known between them..
“I just just want to stay here and hold you.. But I know we need to go to Muir and join the others..”
Scott said to Jean as they already floated out of the base and up to the portal and through it and back
to Muir Island..
(Everyone continue with the plan! Jean and I will lead everyone here on this side up to the Hover Carrier..
Forge might be there so we are going to look for him!. But first we need to clear the deck a bit!) Cyclops
broadcasted to everyone using Jean’s link that they shared to do so..
From the air Cyclops let loose with a massive blast across the battle field at every target he could get which
was a lot..

There were no words that could describe what was going through Cable’s head at the moment
he saw the message from his younger self and later with Cyclops' return.. This was exactly how
he remembered it.. Some parts of his memory were temporarily blocked by his future self so he
would follow a certain structure plan that he needed to do exactly a certain way.. Very soon he
would be gone and then reborn like the whole mutant race.. He showed his wife Karenza a small
part of what was to come.. It still did not comfort her as much as he had hoped.. He understood
how hard it was for her to believe that in a month or so that mutants would find a way to resurrect
themselves from the dead.. With his fathers return that put everything in motion as prophesied by
the book of Askani.. The dark enemy of a lost future will show all mutant kind the eternal light of
forever.. The Hope of five will light the way of forever.. These verses in the Book of Askani echoed
through both his and Kari’s mind..
“You heard the man!. Stay the course!” Cable called out to his team as he continued a round of particle
blasts and thermo grenades at the Orchis troops that were pressing forward..

“I am glad you can make it!” Laura said to her sister Suprema as she came in full armored form
slashing away with her sword and using her shield as a blunt weapon.. As they fought beside
Havok and Ghost all of them heard Cyclops in their heads..
“Welcome back Cyclops!” Wolverine called over her communicator as she dropped down low and
swept a man sized sentinel with her foot claw..
“So our team over here is going up to the hover carrier!. That could be fun!”

Cain was a bit confused as his helmet kept all telepathy from reaching his mind.. He heard
everyone welcoming Cyclops back..
“Cyclops is back!?” Shouted out as he ripped the head off of a man sized sentinel and then
threw like a football at the head of a giant sentinel.. The smaller head went through the
center of the big head..
“Sarah, can you fill me in?!” Juggernaut called out to his wife as she smashed a man sized
sentinels head..

“Good to hear your voice Slim!” Spouted Logan as he climbed the back of a sentinel with his
claws and began attacking the head..
“Good hunting on the carrier.. Don’t worry about Muir, we got this!” Logan said over private coms..
“Your right Darlin this is like old times.. Karenza!.. Cyclops.. Jean.. And having you back at my side
feels good I have to say!” Wolverine said to Cair as he ripped the side of the sentinels head off..

As Firechild and Persha protected Trinary she continued to concentrate on saving Nightmare..
(I am coming to save you!) Trinary tried to comfort Nightmare as was now deep in her head
control system.. She could see the real mind of Nightmare with deep programing walls around
her.. Trinary began to break down the walls with a VR sword she created.. She began slashing
the walls.. Trying to get to her mind through the malware..
(I am almost there!.. Hang on!)

“Thank you beautiful Rain for your help.. You're as majestic as your mother, my Princess!” Nehzno
shouted to Natali as he evaded a blast from the eyes of a giant sentinel.. He was able to backhand
it in the head and then went into a spinning kick to knock it into another big sentinel that was running
up to attack.. Gentle then heard Cyclops in his head.. A smile formed on his face as he took it as a good
omen..
“So how are we going to get to the carrier?!” He thought to himself as he was on the side that was going..
Suddenly he saw a man sized sentinel flying up to attack Natali from behind and he quickly grabbed it with
his hand and crushed it like a bug.. “I always have your back, Rain!”

Meanwhile in the Ocean..
Rachel was filled with joy to hear here fathers voice in her head as she drifted downward in the
freezing sea..
(Forge is next.. If we don’t get him here on the station then my father is going to get him on the
carrier!) Rachel said to Ravager as she could feel the hope come over him..
Suddenly there was a red glow that caught Rachel's attention.. She looked to her left to see one of
the giant sentinels that fell into the ocean was looking right at her ready to blast them..
(Sentinel at your left!) Rachel called out telepathically to everyone in the ocean as she embraced for
impact.. A wide red blast from the sentinel's eyes hit her field and tossed them into the rocks..

Namor heard the warning from Rachel and grabbed Hope who was beside him by the waist and
pulled down behind some rocks as the whole area exploded with a red energy blast.. Namor used
his body to shield most of the blast to protect Hope.. He then threw his trident like a spear at the
sentinels head and got the left eye which caused a portion of the head to explode.. The sentinel
then back handed Namor and sent him crashing into the side of the island..

Hope quickly swam to the back of the sentinel and slapped a thermo disk onto its back but the
sentinel had some sort of magnetic protection to combat mutants like Magneto and Polaris.. So
the disk did not stick to the back and just drifted down and exploded.. Hope was caught in the
blast and felt hot shrapnel go into her leg.. She screamed under the water which muted the sound..

Kari just wanted to scream right now because she knew what was coming, and by that she meant what was beyond what Nathan had showed her. It was not so much any form of precognition that brought her to this point. It was age tempered by experiences, both good and bad, in her very long life.
There was a huge part of her that felt this was some wicked form of cosmic payback for her family's "time away" from the team for so many years. She comes back, and Nathan goes away for a time, only to be reborn after the mutant race learned this secret that, if her fears were founded, would put an even bigger target on their backs.
There was a reason magic was not the norm in this world, and anything akin to resurrection would likely bring all the crazies and bigots out once more. But she could not open her mouth to utter the words, especially because she was graced with that very same ability thanks to The Morrigan and the Askani Force. But one person was not a whole nation. This blessing might in the end be more of a curse than anyone understood at the moment. Immortality was not all it was thought to be, and gifting it to the mutant race might not be the greatest present in the end.
Oh how she wished Destiny were here. No one would believe that statement if she spoke it aloud. Kari knew that. But Irene would likely have had a field day with all this. Or maybe she already had, and Mystique was holding all the cards, ready to set them out in some display for all to see and few to understand. Precognition at its best was a beast at times, a power with few easily defined rules and no set pattern.
"Hey!" Rhiannon yelled as she banked her dragon. "You wandered off there. In your head. Where to this time?"
"You do not want to know, Rhi," Kari said quietly as she looked over toward Nathan and switched to speaking to him telepathically. {{I am glad your father is back, and I know we both know what's coming. But that is only to a point. If I showed you what I feared, then none of this will happen as it needs to happen. I can't risk that, and neither can you. So on this I will have to keep my own council for now, I guess, and I hate it. At least I have something to take the pain out on this time}}
Kari looked down at the molten piles of rock that was atop some of the smaller Sentinels and said a small incantation to turn them into what would best be termed as golems. The rocky creatures kept ripping apart the smaller Sentinels to keep them occupied.
"Welcome back, Cyclops!" Kari finally shouted as the team kept taking the fight to the Orchis troops. She just prayed it would be enough.

“Oh my God! What happened to Naomi!” Hisako said out loud as the tip of her blade broke through the exoskeleton which freaked her out a bit.
“Okay I got this! Ray, I need you to sit back and hang on, this is going to get wild!” Armor said as a chair formed from under him inside the exoskeleton.
Hisako had been practicing different ways to use her powers and now she was going to try it out in real combat.
“Hold on!” She said as she reached up and grabbed Naomi and dropped down into a roll and flung her off as Ray tightened his grip on the arms of the chair.
Hisako’s armor began to form into a full shogun armor with a battle staff. She would have formed a sword but she did not want to hurt Naomi in a serious way.
With a battle staff she had more control on how much damage she could do.
Armor’s legs moved into a combat stance as did the rest of her body. As soon as she went into her stance Naomi was already on top of her. It surprised her how
fast she was but Hisako’s reflexes were just as fast as she began to block every slash of her dagger. She desperately wanted to make an attack of her own but it
took everything she was taught to block and defend.

“Oh yea I am ready for X-Force!” Quentin shouted as he formed a Cable like rifle and started blasting the sentinels around him. He then created a
hoverboard under his feet and began flying through the air evading blast and shooting everything that was not on his team.
(Everly this is kind of fun.) He said to his wife in their mind a link they shared.
“You guys need a hand!” Kid Omega said as he flew down to where Logan and his family was and gave them some support as he blasted more sentinels.
