"I just heard someone mention that today was Thanksgiving!" Fantomex said out loud as JJ and him were walking towards the tables.
"I honestly did not know that today was Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving Chere. Our instincts of the both of us returning to the X-Men
on Thanksgiving shows brilliant timing on our part. I am so happy to spent this holiday with you." He said as he pulled out a chair for
her to sit down like the gentleman that he was. "Why, thank you," JJ said as Fantomex pulled the chair out for her and she sat down. "I had forgotten all about Thanksgiving, too. I can't remember the last time we actually all got to sit down and celebrate any holiday. Gambit and Bishop outdid themselves. Thank you, guys!" she said as she waved toward the creators of this feast. "And I am so thankful for the fact we are here, at the same time, not fighting some maniac or bigot, babe," she said as she grabbed Fantomex's hand. "If I'm being too gushy, let me know," she added with a wink.
JJ turned to see all the refugees as they made their way to the tables around the dome. "You know, seeing all those folks here makes it even more important we do what we do," she said as she turned back to Fantomex. "Some of them look really shell shocked. I remember how that was. And as crazy as this sounds, I hope I never forget it. I hope I never take you, or this life we have here, for granted."

"Now we can dive into the food!" Bobby said as Duncan finished dancing and took their seat at the Hellfire table.
"I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I can not even remember when we had our last one. It's been that long I guess.
So this one is extra special for many reasons! I am just happy to see so many old faces among the new! Our family keeps growing!"
Iceman announced out loud before taking his seat beside Duncan.

"It's so nice to have had that dance. Dazzler was awesome of course and now we can have Thanksgiving. So are we going to join
Colossus at his table? It's next to the Logan family's table we can sit on the side and kind of be at both in a way." Dana said to
Kurt after they finished dancing and headed for the table area.
"Also I can be with my family as well." Suprema looked over at her father, Cair with Gabby and Seth. Laura and Yuna were on their
way to the table. She wanted to be apart of that too.

"We should join your family at their table. You need them more than ever now." She suggested as she felt a little bad inside. She
was very attractive to him and felt manipulative and she was and understood that. For some reason she could not help herself.

"Okay guys let's get our table I think my sister has other plans." Northstar said with disappointment as he lead the way to one
of the tables with Kyle and Milo at his side.

"It's been a long while since we had a holiday of any kind!" Santo said as Rose and him took
their seats at the table..
"I do have to say this one really makes up for it.. I still can not believe we were in space yesterday
on a space station at a space disco... So crazy!"
I am so looking forward to this part." Rose said as she grabbed both Rockslide and Anole's hand and guided then to one of the
tables.

"You did an awesome job big guy!" Sarah said reaching over and giving her husband a kiss.
"That was a lot of fun to watch. Why don't the three of us find a table and get some food? We haven't had much time as a family in a while." She finished looking at Cain with a smile .

Mealla looked up at Exodus as he spoke, and part of her wanted to run for the hills. But this was not her world, and this was not that Exodus, so she took a deep breath as he addressed her and the young woman with the flask.
"Welcome ladies to the celebration I wish you all well being from this day forward!" Exodus said as his wandering through the refugees had
brought him over to D-Light and the other lady that she was talking too.
"Exodus," Mealla said as she dropped her hood. "Mealla Summers. I go by Mel, too. My grandparents are Cable and Karenza," she said as she tried not to spiral yet again. Once with Ray Madison was enough. "And this is..."
"Delilah Ellison, or D-Lite as the kids in the camp call me," Delilah replied as she put her flask back in her pocket. "So, this is the big sh...event. Yeah, Big event. I get a little too street sometimes. Polite company for my family is not the same as it is for you guys, I bet."
Mel sighed as she looked at Delilah. "You'd be surprised by what goes on with the X-Men," Mel added as she looked behind her at a portal glowing in the distance near the trees. She saw her Uncle Citian wandering off in that direction, so she figured it had something to do with him. "Exodus, is there something else we should be expecting today? All these portals are making me nervous."

Citian grabbed one of the Fairie wines and walked off into the forest alone.. Like Logan's kids
his mate had disappeared.. A part of him was afraid that once Romulus had been taken care
of that this would happen.. They were a pack of wolves and none of them felt comfortable
being X-Men.. They were more comfortable in the wild..
He leaned back against a tree drinking from the bottle trying to come to terms with his loss.. The area near where Citian was contemplating recent events shook as a portal blasted open and two women came falling out, crashing to the ground with a loud thud.
"Where are we now?" the older woman with blonde hair and a now-crumpled top hat said as she crawled onto her knees and looked around at their new surroundings. "Ow, I feel like I was hit by a train. Bethany? Bethany?"
Finola Marlowe reached out to shake her companion, Bethany Kincaid, awake, but the younger woman was still in a bit of a stupor.
"Dear girl, please wake up," Finola said as she shook her companion to wake her. "I have no idea where we are, but it seems we are under water, and I am no mermaid."

{I think all those years of Kate and Emma butting heads with one another has lead to them
becoming friends.. I always see them together talking and laughing.. I think they have been
really good for one another.. This friendship has made them better people in a way.. And with
Hellfire I think it’s going to be a bloody big deal.. Kate has that look on her face when she has
big news she is keeping..} Jono said to Kendra as they fallowed the New Mutants to their seats..
"I mean, the Shi'ar empress is here, so this has to be a huge deal," Kendra said as she sat next to Jono and watched everything going on. "I'm just happy to have my little corner of happiness right here with you. That's wicked awesome enough as it is. The rest of this will be frosting, babe."
Kendra looked over at Sam as he stood next to Kate. "You know, Sam had a cousin. Michaela, I think? She was a mechanic. A real gear head. I wonder if she's going to head back now that he's here? Guess we'll find out eventually. Looks like a lot of the lost lambs are coming home, and we are getting new faces as well," she added as they saw more of the refugees coming in. "Did you ever in your wildest dreams think that something like this was possible? I know I didn't."

The walk through the forest was brief but it did give Colin the chance to investigate his surroundings -if only for a short time. The forest was full of lush vegetation with vibrant greens and browns of every hue. Colin was a city boy to his core and his time in the wilds was scares. He never showed any interest in camping or hiking, never saw the need but this forest was something else entirely. Every time he ran his hand across the bark of a tree or through the grass beneath his feet it felt so real. It was a strange contradiction when his powers told him it was all illusionary or fake in some way but it fooled his senses so completely. This young mutant never really gave much thought to the nature of his powers. It was more instinct than anything else when he used his abilities. He didn’t understand it. It was something he just trusted down to his core.
Colin looked up at the back of Pete wisdoms head when he spoke. They had gotten closer while Colin was investigating his surroundings, he slowed down slightly to increase the distance between then and maintained his suppression field as tightly to his body as possible. Many groups out in the world had tried to use him against mutants in the past. He was the perfect weapon to use against superpowered people and their numbers were growing daily. The people here didn't know the specifics of his abilities or at least that was what he had hoped.
“No disrespect Mr Wisdom...sincerely. I have heard that before too. Everyone says they want to help and that I’m safe before they want something or the other shoe drops.” Colin met Pete’s gaze to reinforce his meaning.
The pair left the forest and Colin was struck speechless at the number of people gathered here. There were so many and they were all talking, laughing and having fun. Colin heard the term Thanks giving and he again the surprise was written all over his face. The young mutant looked around the area as introductions were made and he nodded shyly to each of them in tern. He gave a slight hesitant wave to the group but didn’t speak.
Colin looked to Stacy X out reached hand and took a step back from her. “it’s not a good idea to get to close to me. For your own safety.” The large man who held Pete in a bear like hug sounded Russian or from that side of the world.
The amount of people all gathered together here were mutants and Colin couldn’t help that little sliver of hope slip into his heart. ~Maybe this time they mean it.~ He thought to himself.

clear with all these refugees and the growth of the X-Men something has to change.. All of this and the school
is not enough.. Whatever the solution is it has to be Bloody damn be a big one.) Jono said to Kendra as they
headed to the table that was reserved for Jubilee and Monet's party which they were both apart of.. Insisted
by both brides..
(Your right a lot of lambs have found their way back home.. I am just blessed to have this holiday with you..)
As they walked towards the table Banshee who was sitting in his seat quickly stood up to greet them..

"Kendra it's so good to see you again!" Sean said as he put his mug down on the table before
giving her a big hug..
"It's nice to see both of Yee together!" Banshee said as he stepped back and looked both of
them with a prideful smile before pulling Chamber into a big fatherly hug..
"It's so good to see you son!" He spouted as he motioned for both of them take a seat.
"Have you heard of Cacao?" Sean asked as he picked up his mug and took a sip.. "Monet talked
me into drinking it.. It's like a hot cocoa but super healthy for you.. It's really nice.. I was kind
of concern at first because she had me drink some sort of green sludge after Karenza healed me..
Monet wanted me to maintain my health.. I do have to say this makes me feel good!" He laughed..
