Vulcan said as he took the bottle from Havok's hand and put it back on the bar counter.
"I know your having a hard time with Lorna but you need to let that go for now. Let's take a seat and get some of that food in you
to counter all that alcohol that you drank. This has been a good day and let's continue to enjoy it, okay big brother?"

"I just heard someone mention that today was Thanksgiving!" Fantomex said out loud as JJ and him were walking towards the tables.
"I honestly did not know that today was Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving Chere. Our instincts of the both of us returning to the X-Men
on Thanksgiving shows brilliant timing on our part. I am so happy to spent this holiday with you." He said as he pulled out a chair for
her to sit down like the gentleman that he was.

After Rachel left to join Jean to help someone, Jackson walked over to where Coda was. They grew up thinking that they were
cousins but all of that had changed with the truth of who he was came to light.
"It's good to see you again Ashanti!" He said to her with a smile on his face.
"I don't know if you heard that we are not cousins, we are half siblings. " Jackson said as he wondered what she knew.

to Lazuli as they headed back to their table.
"Happy Thanksgiving." Bishop said as they took their seats together. He then looked over to Gambit and gave him a friendly nod
in acknowledgement of their hard work together to get this feast put together.

kind of felt a bit off asking Laura when she really did now her that very well. She decided to ask as she looked over at the table
to see Gabby chatting away at the table. Yuna was feeling the pull to embrace the family that she was restrained from all her life.

"Want to find a table and enjoy this Thanksgiving?" She asked him as he drove her nuts but to her Wade was family. It took a very
long time for her to feel that way but she did.

The low growl from his stomach at the mention of food offered both men no illusion that the younger man was starving. Colin couldn’t remember the last time his stomach had been full from a hot meal. Sure he ate while living on the streets with the other rats but scrounging and foraging for food was no way to live. IF his parents would take him back he would return in a heart beat but like most mutant kids on the street his parents could not deal with the situation. First the accusations of adultary and unfaithfulness were thrown around. After a time the blame was aimed at me rather then each other so my parents turned their hateful eyes towards me and things only got worse from there. “I’ve heard those words before.” Colin muttered before looking away ashamed. His stomach gave a second loud growl in protest. Colin pocked his stomach firmly and pouted. “And you can shut it.” Colin raised himself to his feet with his hand on the tree and the room instantly began to spin like a merry go round. If not for the tree Colin would have landed face first in the grass when he had just began. His stomach rebelled at the constant motion of his vision. After a few moments the spinning stopped and Colin took a deep breath to calm himself. Colin was positive that he had a concussion from earlier that day but he did not know these people and was scared to trust anyone in this strange place. “I am hungry so I’ll take up up on the offer.” Colin’s voice was still subdued and supicious.
rubbish from the humans.. We have a whole community of mutant refugees from all over the
world that the X-Men and the mutant underground had to rescue. This place is a safe place
and we are here to help you and all these people to be safe and have a community.. All I ask
is for you to give us a chance to earn your trust.. So let's dive into what the American's call
Thanksgiving.." Pete said as they both headed down the path to where the celebration was..
As they entered the celebration Wisdom walked over to Colossus.. Enya and Stacy X.
"Good to see you big guy.. Like the beard.. I hope you don't mind that we join you?.." Wisdom
looked back at Colin..
"I'm sorry Mate I never introduced myself.. I'm Pete Wisdom.. The big guy is also Piotr the X-Man
known as Colossus.. His girlfriend Enya and Stacy X who was a member of the X-Men for a time
and has been working in the mutant underground to help all these refugees.." |

"Good to see you Comrade Wisdom!" Colossus said as he reached out to Pete's surprise to
received a big hug.. Wisdom could not help but to remember when they first met and Colossus
hated him and tried hurt him.. That was many years ago when they were on the Excalibur team
and Colossus was not in a healthy mental state.. It was something they had worked through
during their Excalibur years.. But it was still surprising to him to be in his arms and his feet not
being on the ground for a minute or so..
"Yes please join us for this special holiday Comrades.."

they want to be with their Gen-X family today.. But that is okay we have next year if we are not
in some sort of battle.. Which we are most likely will be.. But you never know we pulled this off

Alexander was in a red suit that he had created on the station just before he ported in.. He walked
out of the forest and saw two faces that he had to see before he finding his father or mother..
"Hay brother!. Sorry that I was late.. From what I can see I missed the wedding.. It took me a while
to hook myself to the system on Graymalkin.." Alex said as he turned to face Coda his half sister that
he had not met yet..
"And you must be Ashanti.. A beautiful name.. I'm your half brother Alexander Summers and it's a great
honor to meet you!" |
