Sammy made his way up to the group and spotted his mother looking on.
"Hey mom what are you......Wait is that dad?!" He said surprised.
"Yep baby dats yer papa!" Sarah responded as the two continued to watch Cain.

Ewan smiled at Jessie as he stopped for a moment and surveyed the room. His family did amount to a small army, and he was sure some of them would make it to the dance floor soon. "Yes, let's find a spot before all the good ones are taken," he said as he took Jessie's hand and led her onto the dance floor. He spied his nephew Colin zeroing in on the bar and shook his head. "I pray that we all find our happiest of places today," he said softly as he twirled Jessie to the music. {{Colin, if you need to talk later, come find me}} he said to his nephew as he continued to dance with Jessie.
As they danced, Ewan let his eyes wander to Hayley. She seemed calmer, but her aura showed that she was still troubled by whatever was going on with Dante, D and, he was guessing, Adrian in absentia. The hovering members of the Clan MacLeod did not seem to be making matters better nor worse. That might have been a blessing in disguise.
"I wish this could go on forever," Ewan said as he twirled Jessie again._______ Jessie smiled as the two continued to dance but something was on her mind. As the two came back together it was pretty clear the redhead had something she needed to get out.
"Ewan love there is something I wanted to speak with you about. I wanted to do this in private but it's a time of new beginnings and I felt now would be the time. " She said holding him.
"In this past year and a half I've known you with every passing day I feel like I've known you for an eternity. I feel safe with you and I never want to lose that. I know this isn't tradition but." She said as a ring materialized in her hand. It was made of blue orange and black metals and almost looked as though it glowed on its own.
"Would you allow me to take the next step in this crazy road called life together?" She said holding the ring for him to see. Before he could formulate a reply, Ewan could "feel" his siblings telepathically pushing to help him form the best, most romantic or at least the least clumsy answer he could give. They nattered back and forth until Roslea's stern {{Ahem}} cut through the banter. {{Let him do this on his own, as he would let each of us do given the chance. Blessings, little brother}} she said across the family link as Ewan started to smile.
"My siblings were trying to be helpful," he said to Jessie as he looked at her hand and the ring it held. "And that can often lead to a lot of mental gymnastics," he continued as he suddenly felt a "ping" in the pocket of his suit coat. {{You, my boy, are a true DalCais romantic}} his Aunt Fachtna said as he pulled out a ring that had been in her possession for centuries. {{And you need a ring as special as your love, and one not curse to have been on my hand at that insipid Stark wedding. This one was not with me that horrible day}}
The band was made of intertwined white and rose gold with small white diamonds, and in the center was a heart-shaped red diamond, one of the most rare forms of diamonds in the world. {{Don't just stand there}} Fachtna added as she motioned for him to give Jessie the ring. {{My daughter certainly would not want it. You know how your cousin is}}
"It would be an honor to wear your ring and take the next step with you, Jessie," Ewan said as he presented her with the DalCais ring. "If you would wear mine?"

"Well Cain was our coach at the school.. So he most likely learned it from one of us. I can not
imagine who though.. But if I had to make a guess it would be Bling.. She has some moves and
I think that she could wipe the floor of both of them.. But damn they are going for it!" Ashanti
responded to both Anole and Rockslide as she watched the battle..
"Its still surprises me to see this but it makes me happy to see him back to his old spirits."
“I know people are rooting for one or the other but I’m just glad to see them having fun.” Ashanti
smiled as she watched Juggernaut and Glob fight over who’s doing the better head spin. |

Hearing Everly calling him husband made him feel complete in a strange way. He never had a family and now he did with her being his wife which
lead to Nightcrawler, Pixie and a few others on his family list which he was excited about. Now he had a partner in life and looked forward to the
future like never before. Quentin did not respond to his wife in words he just connected to her mentally and shared everything he was feeling and
thinking at that moment which brought tears to both of their eyes. Suddenly they looked down and saw Juggernaut and Blob locked into a breakdance
battle with one another which lead to both of them busting out laughing."Both of them are very good surprisingly." Everly said as Quentin and her continued to watch
as they danced to Dazzler's new slow song.
"I wonder how both of them learned how to dance like that? Especially Juggernaut of all people."
Everly being a professional dancer before her world went to hell was very impressed by both of
them.

Duskk was surprised by what he saw in his mental link with Monet.

onto the dance floor."I'm all yours!" Duncan responded as they both hurried over to the dance floor and began to
dance.

am very excited to be apart of Kate's new team even though the only thing we know is we
will be on a ship traveling the world which is kind of romantic. I do understand that we will
be in a lot of danger by the vibe I was getting. I am sure the stuff that is going down in
Russia and countries like that is going to get our attention. What is your thoughts on all
of this?"
This team is shaping up to be bad ass and I am looking forward to saving more of our people and getting them to safety.” Bobby answered Duncan

She pulled out her iPhone and set up Victoria's as well so nothing would keep them from missing this moment. "And the feed will be going straight to Victoria's office so it can be broadcast worldwide if you give us the go ahead," she added as she waited for Xavier or Magneto to give her the green light.
Carrie looked at Victoria and could tell this was a strange moment for her boss. She had always been so very guarded about her status as a mutant, but what happened next might change that forever.

Claire hadn't said anything, but once the weddings came to an end, she started to focus on contacting Naomi telepathically, with no luck. Even with her power levels currently lower, she knew she shouldn't be having this much trouble, even if she was trying to keep Ray from noticing at the same time. No matter what techniques she used, she couldn't get a read on her daughter. Claire figured that she could probably get something if she tapped into her powers as the Blue Phoenix, but her actual body was too far away and summoning that sort of power would likely take far too long, so she started to tap into the Phoenix users currently present. Her eyes briefly flashed with the power signatures of every person present with a Phoenix shard as she borrowed their power to boost her telepathy, but nothing seemed to be working."Either my telepathy isn't working or something is blocking me. I don't like both of those options..."

Jean was dancing and then suddenly stopped when she felt Claire and what she was doing.
Even though Jean no longer carried the Phoenix Force within her she was still altered by the
Phoenix in ways that was beyond the understanding of science as was her daughter Rachel
who also stopped dancing and looked across the dance floor at her mother Jean..
“Excuse me a minute I have something I need to do.” Jean said to Polaris as she headed over
to Psionica with Rachel right behind her.
“Hi Claire we felt what you were doing and came over to try and help in anyway we can.” Jean
said to Psionica with concern..

as she felt what Claire was trying to do and that there was no response or connection to the Phoenix
shard.

Cain loved that he had taken everyone off guard with his fancy break dance moves. What
everyone did not know was when Juggernaut first joined the X-Men is that on his down time
he played a lot of video games and learned these dance moves from Sammy the student that
was like a son to him. Sammy was able to get Cain to do stuff that was out of his comfort zone..
Where ever Sammy’s soul was he hoped he was watching all of this with pride.

“I think I am staying my brother and Kyle talked me into it. He has been telling me for years his experiences with the X-Men and as a teacher. Which
I never though my dear brother had the patience to a teacher. So I know the X-Men can create miracles.” Aurora laughed out loud as did Daken.

person that is no longer in this dimension. They came to the X-Men because of this person and now
that he is gone so are they apparently.” Daken said as he looked over and saw Citian alone and studied
the look on his face and could smell his pheromones and could tell he was very upset even though he
was trying to hide it. Daken was starting to think now that they were safe from Romulus that they left.
He deeply hoped he was wrong but it was not looking good. |
