D-Lite/Delilah Ellison *WIP*

Delilah is a character I played elsewhere, and I am going to need to redo her bio because the other one died when that board died ages ago.

Her power is the ability to light up her body in dark areas. She does not glow like a light bulb. Her light is emitted from drawings on her skin (see her avatar photo for now). She makes them herself with a special "pen" she uses.

She has a pet snake named Ms. Slithers (this is a name taken from the real life pet of someone I used to work with--that snake is Mr. Slithers. He needed a sibling ). Ms. Slithers is in the photo (I believe that one is a python). She is not poisonous. She also does not go into battle. She will be safely locked in a cage when Delilah is not around.

Delilah has a brother named Jack Ellison. He is a musician and a would-be rapper (as in he thinks he is, but I can't compose rap to save my life, so he may not be too great). He goes by the name Jack-L. His PB will be Eminem.

Delilah is one of the refugees in the camp created by the X-Men.

Pets: Has a pet python named Ms. Slithers. Ms. Slithers does not light up like her owner.

Powers: Can illuminate parts of her body when they are in darkness or when she is coated in "blackout paint"--a substance that her body can secrete solely to activate her powers. That's what she calls it anyway, but it is more like wearing black eye shadow all over your body. It evaporates when she is in lit areas again. Delilah uses a special pen to draw the designs on her body that emit the light.

Weaknesses: Aside from her powers, she is like a baseline human and can be killed by anything that can kill one

Bio: Delilah and Jack grew up in Detroit, and she accompanied her brother on his gigs as a wannabe rapper. She loves to sing, but big bro always pushed her aside because he thought she'd get hassled by some of the tougher Detroit crowds in the small clubs he performed at. Delilah figured he was just jealous because she could actually sing and not just do rap. The siblings have a very weird dynamic, but they stick together because they have no one else.

During recent unrest and violence against mutants, the siblings found themselves in Xavier's refugee camp. Delilah is sure her screwy light power would be of little use to the X-Men, but she also doesn't want to just sit there being "boring" for the rest of her life.

She is no nonsense and will tell you if you are being a jerk. She does like to drink, but she doesn't get sloppy drunk.
