Scarlett turned white as Ray mentioned that disaster at the Cathedral, that temporal nightmare that was her last stand as the Dark Mother. She took a deep breath as she weighed Ray's words one by one.
But these were not the words he had just said.
"...%@+@ the Askani... %@+@ prophecies..... %@+@ fate....." Scarlett said them as if they were both new and familiar to her at the same time. They certainly were neither. She had heard him say them, and she knew how they had terrified many in that battle.
"What did you say?" Mel asked as she shrank back in her seat. "That is blasphemy! How dare you say those horrible, terrible words? My father told me about them...about her...when it all comes undone..."
On their surface, they were the words of a man who had been fighting to save his friends from a fate worse than death. Scarlett knew that all too well. But to her mother's doppelgangers, Cailleach and The Crone, they meant a hell of a lot more. For Cailleach it meant death, although in the end it did not seem to claim her either, and for The Crone it meant the start of her twisted existence. For Mealla, God only knows what Ben had told her before she arrived in this world.
"Whoa, slow down, Mel," she said to her niece as she looked back toward Ray. "That's what Ray said..."
"I know! I know who said them! I know what damage they have done, will do one day," Mel sputtered as she tried to calm down. "Why didn't you just kill him before he said those words?"
"What?" Scarlett looked in horror at her niece and then back to Ray. "I...I...never...that was not my mission."
"The Dark Askani were there to usher in a new age. We all know that," Mel huffed as she looked at her aunt. "What Ray said may have undone it all, or it may have only stalled in the end. It drove my father mad--so mad he went back to the pit in Annwyn so his demon didn't break loose and kill us all. If those words had not been spoken, maybe I'd have both parents here now!"
"Ray, I am so sorry," Scarlett said as she started to shake. "I was not sent to kill you. I swear it. We were on a misguided mission to get the Askani Phoenix. I've paid for that mistake. I'm still paying for it. And Mel..."
By now Mealla was white knuckling the table. "I'm sorry. Ray, I didn't mean to freak out, but you scare me. Fate is fate. My mother dying. My father losing his mind. Me winding up here...and you one day being Father Askani..." she added as she looked at Ray.
"And that is enough for ten lifetimes," Scarlett said as she hugged Mel, trying to get her to calm down before everyone saw her flipping out. "Ray, you don't know me from Jack, but if I can escape whatever fate the world had for me and be sitting here now, then you can tell fate to screw itself into a light socket."

While everyone was either waking up or gearing up for breakfast, there was a loud thud that came from behind a series of trees. "Wake up," Daiyei was noticeably loud as he stood over the still sleeping Dante. Or at least, the Dante who pretended to be asleep. D sighed before he kicked Dante one more time, once in his metal arm and another time in the ribs. Not hard enough to hurt, just hard enough to get his attention.
After the second kick, Dante grunted. "Fine, fine," Dante groaned, I'm up, I;'m up." Dante sighed and reached out to pick him up off of the ground and then patted some of the dust and grass off of him.
"Good. Your friends are getting married, get dressed." Just by looking at Dante's half-cybernetic face, D could tell he was about to say something that probably related to his universe jumping experience. But unlike Alucard and Sydney, he didn't have the patience for any of that. "If you say something about this not being where you're from, I'm going to punch you."
D quickly reached into Dante's inner coat pocket and grabbed a tiny crystal shard and gave it a squeeze before tossing it back to his friend. As he did, a blindingly white portal opened up to their side.
"How did you...?"
"Shut up and let's go in the damn portal. I'm sure your shower in there still works and you need some new clothes." D then dragged Dante into his own pocket dimension to get ready.

“Good mornin Chere!” Fantomex said to JJ as she exited the room inside of EVA.
Fantomex stood in the center of the ship wearing a white tuxedo with a black bow tie with his mask on. It was his go to suite that he
wore for parties like this one.
“So JJ I don’t know if you remember but EVA can make any kind of dress you desire. So whatever you desire is yours.” JJ looked at the very dressed up Fantomex and breathed a sigh of relief when he mentioned EVA's "special closet" for any occasion. "Good morning! And thank you! I was afraid to ask if that was still an option, but I am so glad it is. The dress I brought along met with a bit of a mishap in the bag," she said as she held up her dress that was now a bit splotched and smelly. "Bottle uncapped and soaked everything. EVA, let me see what you have on file from the last time you helped me out..."
JJ disappeared back into her room and quickly checked what EVA could dream up for her, and she was very happy that one dress was still on file. She was sure Fantomex could hear her squealing as the dress was created and she slipped it on. "And shoes! Oh my heaven, I forgot shoes!" she shouted from inside her room. "Thank you EVA!" she added as she slipped her outfit on and did a final fuss with her hair and makeup.
"And how is this?" she asked Famtomex as she stepped back out to where he was standing.

Syd made her way toward breakfast just as she saw D abscond with Dante. "OK, that was..." she started to say as Hayley walked up behind her, a bit worse for wear after the drinking of the previous night. "You saw, that, right?"
"Good morning to you, too," Hayley laughed before grabbing her head. "I forgot what it felt like to have a hangover. I am not a fan."
"That isn't the only reason you had a bad night," Sydney replied as she gave Hayley an odd look. "Yes, I saw your nightmares again. We better figure out how to break this newfound closeness we share, or one of us will bludgeon the other to be rid of it. I know you are worried about what Dante said. About Adrian. Apparently half your family thought the other half was dead, and yet here you all are. Whatever happened, to all of us, was either undone or reversed or something. Don't give up hope. Not yet."
"Since when did you start doling out advice like some newspaper columnist?" Hayley laughed, knowing full well Sydney had tried that once a long time ago and never went back to it again. "Maybe you need to start up a blog or a vlog. Advice for the Lovelorn Witch."
"Heaven knows I have enough experience," Sydney sniffed as she wondered what D was up to. "Hey, did you see if D took his cat?"
"Oh no! You are afraid they just left. That Dante really isn't your Dante," Hayley said as Syd took a deep breath. "Do you need to talk about it?"
"No. But thanks," Sydney replied as she grabbed a cup of coffee. "I tried to call Rose. Left a message. Again. Too early to call Piper. Or is it?"
"I have no clue what time zone Atlantis is in," Hayley said as she, too, grabbed some coffee. "And as far as Adrian goes, we were not Rose and Ein or you and Dante. My feelings were all too much on display, and after his revelation, well, things were never quite what I had hoped they'd be. I blame myself for making my feelings so bloody public, but they had been since Dante called me on them in that fight in London so long ago. Adrian might never speak to me again outside of civil pleasantries or battle banter. I can't say I blame him."
Syd banged her head against some sort of ornamental pillar set up for the wedding and started to mutter under her breath. "You sound like me. Do not sound like me. Do I really sound that annoying?"

Faith stood looking at everyone gathering for breakfast and sighed as she realized just how jumpy she still was to be near all these people. She turned to see her sister Scarlett and their niece Mealla near Ray Madison, and that looked like it was going south very fast. {{Not going there}} she thought as she saw her mother and Nathan sitting near their tent. {{No, they look happy. I can talk to them later}}
She stopped and heard her Aunt Hayley and Sydney MacLeod off to the side talking about a cat. {{A cat? Here? The poor thing must be very scared or very upset it can't eat the fish in the sea}} she mused as she stood and flexed her hands, trying like hell not to let anyone see her shaking in fear. She jumped as she heard a voice behind her.
"Pardon me, but can you tell me where Saber is? Or perhaps Elda?"
"Loki?" Faith whispered quietly as her eyes did not believe who was standing in front of her. "I'm sorry. Pardon me," she said in her soft British accent as the God of Mischief smiled at her. "I am not sure who Elda is. And Saber may not be up yet."
"And you remind me of your mother," Loki said as he took Faith's hand and kissed it. "I can find my way. Until later..."
Faith turned bright red as Loki seemed to glide past her. As she watched him walk away, she kept hearing her great grandmother Siofra's words in her head. {{Asgardian snakes never change. Thor, Loki. Hela. They are all the same. But you are better. Your mother may have forgotten, but I know you won't, my little warrior}}

A big frown came over Logan’s face as Cair and him walked from their tent to the table to get
their morning coffee as they watched two big mugs of coffee floated on over to Cable and Karenza..
“Mornin!.. Everything smells really good.. I perfect way to wake up.” Logan said to Rogue and Lazuli
as he pored coffee into two mugs for Cair and him.. "Good morning everyone!" Cair said as she took the mug of coffee from Logan. "Thanks, babe and thank God for coffee. I may not have been drunk last night, but I needed this to get me moving. I'm still surprised Seth actually danced last night. I'm glad he's adjusting to being back with everyone in a fairly stable situation. Camelot, as cool as it was in some ways, was hella not stable."
Cair looked at her phone and frowned. "And the dig of the century continues for Glynis. She sends her regards, and this lovely selfie with...oh, for the love of Pete. I thought that guy died," she muttered as she showed Logan the selfie of her sister and another one of Kari's "Legends of Yesterday" pals, Indy Jones. "Wish you were here. Found some really impressive old junk..."
And a second text came in from her sister Maggie and brother Jack. "Great. None of them are showing up. Seth is going to be disappointed. Maggie is on some secret mission with the Nun Squad, and Jack...is just being Jack again. I'm glad your kids are here. They wouldn't bail on Seth, and I am so grateful for that."

“Seth!!!” Gabby shouted as she busted into the tent to get to him. Thankfully Seth just finished
getting dressed and was surprised by his sister sudden arrival at first.
“Do you smell that!?.. That’s Bishop’s famous peanut butter banana waffles!. If you have ever
had his very special waffle you understand why I so excited!” Gabby excitedly explain as she
wore a black and yellow striped dress..

Alex was disappointed that Lorna was already gone from his bed when he woke up. It really told him a lot where his relationship was
with her. The aroma of all the breakfast foods filled his tent and motivated him to get dress and head out before the breakfast lines
begin. He almost tripped and fell when he saw Quintin come out of his tent in his speedo and rush off to another tent.
out of the tent he saw Scarlet and waved to her before he saw Quentin dart out in his speedos and his big brother Alex almost tripping over his
own feet in response.
“Be careful brother you almost landed on your face!” Vulcan shouted at Havok as he hurried over and joined him. “That kid has no shame.” He
laughed.
“Good morning little brother are you ready for a breakfast that is going to knock you to the ground?.
Do you smell that work of art that Bishop and Gambit whipped up for us this morning?” Havok said as
he walked with Vulcan to where the coffee was.. |

Jackson was concern at first when he woke up and saw that Rachel was missing from the bed. So he got up to see the flap of the tent
open and Rachel sitting crossed legged in meditation with two cups of coffee sitting waiting for him. The steam from the cups showed
Jackson that she just got the coffee a few seconds ago.
“Good morning babe!” He said as he plopped himself down beside her.
good meditation session.. She was still in an over sized t-shirt with the Xavier school crest on it and
baggy black harem pants..
“Looks like everyone is dressed already.. We should finish our coffee and get dressed for the day.. I
am looking forward to seeing you in a suit.” |

Today was a new day and new beginnings.. Kitty woke up feeling like a new person and was
looking forward for a new start. Being trapped on Omega World and returning and trying to
restart the school had been a lot for her.. It did not work out like she wanted and then Emma
took Scott’s death hard and it was Kitty that was there for her as a shoulder.. Their relationship
had changed and both ladies bonded .. Kitty was very surprised with Emma’s offer of her being
the Red Queen for the New Hellfire Trading Company and all the plans ahead.. Kitty was one of
the few that knew what the future was going to look like.. She was not just going to be the
Red Queen but the Captain of the Marauder.. It was a lot but she was beyond excited for the
adventure and the responsibility..
Emma had already bought her a whole wardrobe of red dresses for her new status.. As she slid
on a smooth red dress she decided that she was no longer Kitty.. As the Red Queen and a Captain
that for this new life she would go by the name Kate.. She stepped out of her tent with Lockheed
on her shoulder and walked over to Sam and Bee’s tent.. “Knock! Knock!” She spouted out in hopes
he could hear her..

He kept it simple by wearing jeans and a black tank top when he entered the main tent. “Thank you for everything.”
Duskk said with gratitude to The Professor and Magneto. Still a little drowsy, he went straight to the coffee. Took a
sip and turned to his right. Finally noticing that Quentin was in nothing but a speedo. Seemingly unsurprised, he
went back to his coffee. “Good morning.” He said to Quentin and Glob.
fantasy look to it.. He was not surprised to see Quentin in his speedo’s.. This was not a new
thing as Quentin always walked around in this state of dress.. Revolver had became used to it..

Monet walked into the tent and was not too surprised to see that Emma had set all this up for the brides. Monet felt a strong feeling of
gratitude for teacher and mentor. Monet’s own mother and family were two busy to make to the wedding or even to meet her future
husband and kids. It was Emma and Sean that filled that void.
“I am very touched and grateful for all of this.” Monet said as she embraced Emma in a hug and then Jubilee leaped in and made it a group
hug. Which made both Monet and Emma laugh.
“Everly and the others are on their way.” Monet said as she connected to the others telepathically.
She said as she looked around for a good moment then joined them in their group hug.
dress that was hanging in the corner of the tent.. The dress was also pink in color.. Two different
shades of pink with the darker pink had a sparkle to it..
“Monet’s and Everly's dress was is still in the box over there.. None of us seen it besides Emma and the
Cuckoos..” |

an area for the brides to get ready with make up and a display of jewelry..

her hair up in a bun with a yellow flower on the side..
Husk made her way to the table with all the food on it.. “My God Bishop’s peanut butter
banana waffles!” Paige spouted out as she reached out and grabbed a plate as Jubilee
joined her.. “This is such a treat!”
