Gerald and Ryder both returned to the X-Men following the events of M-Day. Gerald had been teaching English literature and some music classes before the Sentinels took up residence in the front yard. He shifted his focus to help in the refugee camp on campus as best he could.
Michael, for a time anyway, joined with the X-Men before his current appearance with the Hellfire group for the celebration, and Gerald and Ryder could not bear seeing him every day.
But some time away with his sister Elizabeth has led him to believe Michael might not have been the driving force that caused his wife to be killed. Time will tell what he has learned.
