Everyone had split up and joined groups as Old Man Logan found a tree and sat down under it with a bowel of gumbo and a cold
beer that he had snagged from a cooler that said (Logan) on it so he just took one.
As he sat he watched everyone and it brought back so many memories of the X-Men his family before the nightmare that had became
his life. He did not know where his place was with this group just yet but he was happy to be here. His world was a dead wasteland
and this world was full of life. Some how he was going to make this work as this was his second chance.

Sam was still in one of his "I am so damned lucky to be here and alive" moments that it took him a minute to start acknowledging everyone at their table. "It is great to be with all of you, too!" Sam shouted as he looked at Bumblebee and smiled. "It is so good to say that. I give all of you permission to kick my butt if I ever get stupid enough to leave again."
Bee's vocal modulator was still twitchy, so he gave a big robotic thumbs up at the warm welcome. At the mention of gumbo, Bee found a snippet of new Orleans-style jazz and played it on his radio/temporary voice box.
"We will get that fixed, buddy. I promise," Sam said as he took some food from the tray Kitty set down. "This is fantastic! Thanks, Kitty!" As he ate, Sam could not help but look at the shuttle. "Ghost, that is one sweet shuttle. Can Bee and I look around it later? I promise we won't mess with anything. It's so freaking amazing!"
"What he said," Bee's radio-based voice added as the robot watched Lockheed fly down to the food.
"Wait. What the heck was that?" Sam said as he turned around to see what was happening near Beast and his family. "This portal stuff is getting too confusing. This is not Grand Central Terminal."
Sam smiled at Kitty as they watched Lockheed eat. "Dude, there is plenty of food. No rush! Thanks again, Kitty. I hope Emma didn't notice. Who am I kidding? Right?"
Then Jackson mentioned Forge, and Sam nodded to him. "Bee and I are with you on that trip. I just pray it looks better than the last time we were there. I mean the last time Bee and I were there. That big crazy battle when Hope Summers was a baby? All that Celtic magic woo hoo going on with the MacFeorais clan? Oh right, some of you weren't here then. My apologies. I forget sometimes how long I was actually gone."

Rose was still with Kari when she felt an all too familiar presence . She looked over and saw Jack talking with Emma.
The two had a fling in times past but it never stopped them being friends.
She smiled closing her eyes as she reached out mentally to Jack Sparrow.
("What will we do with a drunken sailor? What will we do with a drunken sailor. Oh what will we do with a drunken sailor early in the morning?") Jack got very wide-eyed as the group chatted away around him. Cormac gave him a funny look before Jack motioned toward Rose who was standing near Kari.
((No one told me you were going to be here, Rose. Will wonders never cease!)) Jack thought as he prayed Emma was not listening in at the moment. ((Once this portion of my evening is concluded, perhaps we can sit and have a chat, for old time's sake, over a nice bottle of rum. I think I am as surprised as you are about my invitation to join the festivities. There is apparently more to it than I know at the moment))
"I was unaware that Cormac's sister Rose was here this evening. She and I will chat later," he said to the group as he drank more of his rum. "So, tell me more about this new venture, Emma."

Moira grabbed Kathy, Hank and Lime and held them tightly. "I am so sorry that all happened," she said softly as she seemed to let out a long-held deep breath. "Alternate worlds can always be such a mixed blessing," she added as she looked at Keiko and Desdemona. "Things that are the same, things that are close but not totally right, and then things that are so different that they scare you."
"Alternate world?" Desdemona asked as Moira still kept holding Hank's hand once the group hug ended. "What did I miss this time?"
"A lost soul that, I hope, finds peace back in her own world," Moira replied as she looked from Desdemona to Hank. "I think we should all head back to the table now. I'm starving! We have plenty of room at the table, Dez. Join us."
"Let me get this put away," Desdemona said as she made her sword vanish. "No one needs demon ichor on their food."

Carrie breathed a sigh of relief as the drama seemed to come to an end. She was never going to bring it up, and she prayed no one else would either. She smiled at Magneto as she finished her gumbo. "I see Hellfire is well represented over there," she said as she motioned toward the group around Emma Frost. "I'm glad things seem to be peaceful. Although with Captain Sparrow there in their midst, I'd be surprised if it stayed that way for too long. He always seems to bring a bit of unpredictability with him. It is nice to see him around again, though."
As she looked around the dome, Carrie saw so many new faces amongst the team members she knew very well. "How many people comprise the X-Men now? The student population grew a lot when I last visited the mansion. It seems to be growing again, and that is fantastic. And I think I read that some refugees are finding their way to the group as well. With current political climate world-wide, that doesn't surprise me in the least. It does make me angry at how mutants are being treated."

Dev walked up behind Yuna, Domino and Outlaw and gazed up at the statue Yuna had been admiring. "That is a magnificent statue," she noted as she closed her eyes for a moment and placed her hand on the pedestal holding the likeness the female Atlantean warrior. "Kari's sister Hayley might actually be able to tell us about this sculpture. She sculpts herself, and I know she's studied a lot of different artists in many realms. I can introduce you later, if you like. I'm sorry I don't know more about this one myself." By now Dev had finally stopped glowing, but she was getting very hungry. "Mind if I tag along with all of you? I promise not to eat or drink anything that makes me change color! I do not need to be a night light!" "That is Gambit's gumbo that you smell.. It will blow you away.. I will get us a the gumbo while
you find us a table.." Kwannon said as she hurried off..
As she headed for the line she saw both Alice and Coraline and waved at them.."Of course you can join us Dev!" Yuna smiled at her and was really happy to be in her company.
"That gumbo does smell good. I never had gumbo before I am very curious about it." Yuna said as she looked around and saw
a table close to the waterfall and where the Braddock family was setting up.
"Let's go over here!"
which surprised and not surprise her at the same time.
"Oh, your joining us Wade?""Of course Wade is joining us!" Outlaw said with a laugh as Deadpool sat down. "And Dev, glad you are as well. Oh Lord, I forgot about that guy," Inez said as she looked at Pirate Jack in the distance. "Dev, did he come along with your group ages ago?"
"Jack? He was involved with a friend of ours named Grainne. They broke up, but he stuck around anyway," Dev said as she shook her head. "He's floated around our little band of crazy immortals ever since. But it looks like Emma got custody of him for the moment. She doesn't know what she's in for..."
"Why do you say that?" Outlaw asked as Dev started to snicker, and then she laughed loudly.
"He's an interesting soul, to say the least," Dev replied as she watched Jack start to gesticulate around the Hellfire group. "He's probably telling them about how he escaped the maw of a Kraken, or he's recounting the time he stole half an imperial armory back in the day and gave the guns to the people of a small village that kept getting raided. He really tries for the Robin Hood thing at times, but sometimes..."
"Oh! Now I remember. He cheesed off some guy in a bar in San Francisco," Outlaw said as she slapped the table. "He came flying out the door and was screaming as he ran down the street. Nobody else was around, and I never go the damned video! And no, Wade, I don't think it was the bar you and Dom and the team went to a lot. That place was more for the mystic folks."

She waved as she saw her siblings Finn and Faith, but then she sat at the table. "Sorry, more of the sib squad landing for the festivities. Oh! I forgot. Half my Ma's family is coming. The non-crazy half, I hope. No Grandma Siofra. Thank God! But they are likely bringing wedding gifts. If you hate them, I can help fix it. They are great folks, but not everyone wants some big ass Celtic cauldron or a magical sword. That's how I got my mace. It was a birthday gift. I love it, but it is, well, a bit old school."
As she looked around, she was glad so many people she usually didn't interact with in the past were at the table. "This is nice. I mean really wicked cool. Things like this make you feel alive. And..."
Kendra looked up and saw a school of fish passing overhead. She smiled as she heard some of the younger students oo-ing and ah-ing as they watched them.

Kendra smiled as she grabbed Jono's hand. "I wasn't kidding about the magical cauldron. One of the cousins got it as a gift before we went into the Twilight Zone. That thing was freaky."

(This place is like nothing I have seen before. I worry about how some Atlantians are not happy that we are here. I know
King Namor has it all under control but it still concerns me.) Jono realized that his tone was way too serious and shook his
head with disappointment with himself.
(Sorry.. It's too easy for me to fall into cenacle Englishman.. Seriously this is overwhelmingly beautiful place and I feel so
lucky that your back Kendra and your family and all those we have not seen in many years..) Jono used his telepathy to
show an image in her mind of him kissing the back of her hand since he physically could not.. (This day has been full of
surprises.. It's starting to feel like the old days..) |

Angelo were here to see this day." Paige said in a sad tone before giving Monet.. Duskk.. Chamber.. Jubilee
and Revolver..
"I can take Shogo off your hands while you get his stuff together?" Paige said as she motioned her hands
to Jubilee for her to hold the baby with excitement..

"Kendra.. Japh.. Welcome home I missed you both so..so much!" Jubilee said as she was
next to give everyone a round of hugs as Gallion fixed up a baby chair at the table for
Shogo..
"Everett and Angelo will always be with us in spirit!" Jubilee said as she was emotional
thinking about them.. "Just remember we are living for them now and I think about
them all the time."

has destroyed it and rebuilt it into something new for the future of mutant kind.. As of this moment Emma
and the former Hellfire are now leading the Hellfire Trading Company and you will learn more about that
