Code Name: Reflet (French for reflection; used when talking about an image in a mirror)
Real Name: Cordelia “Cord” LeRoy
Age: 22
Date of Birth: September 20
Place of Birth: Devon, England
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 130
Hair Color: Dark Chocolate Brown
Eye Color: Black
Legal Status: Has no known criminal history, but does have a sealed file with various law enforcement agencies.
Fighting Ability: Cordelia isn’t all that much of a fighter; it is her companion/familiar who does the most of the fighting
Genetic Mutation: N/A
Mutant Powers: Much of her powers are actually fey magicks.
Mirror Magick~ the ability to use any reflective surface {including but not limited to glass, mirrors, water, and blades} as a form of communications between herself and another.
She can also travel, which is limited to mirrors or pane/sheets of glass, from one point to another by opening the way. For those on the other side of the mirror it appears like she is coming down a long hallway. She can take others with her through the mirror, but they must always remain in contact with her.
As a bonus for being able to travel the mirrored pathways as she calls it, Cordelia has learned how to hide her presence from those looking into their mirrors as she spies on them.
She is also able to seemingly ‘reach’ through the object and touch another person; however, she rarely uses the power in this method.
Cordelia can trap another being inside of a mirror, glass or blade, water being the one exception to this particular ability.
Glamoury~ A very personal and subtle magick that she has, she actually doesn’t use it for herself as much as she uses it for her companion/familiar.
Gravitational Manipulation~ (mutant power) the ability to change the gravitational field around her self and others within a 15’ radius; at one moment she may be as light as a feather, moving with cat like grace and the next moving her could be like moving a ten ton pile of bricks. While changing hers and others’ fields of gravity it does not change their actually weight. Cordelia actually doesn’t realize that this is a mutant power and not magick; she’s been using this power instinctively.
Familiar~ This is not a power but a creature…see below for further information.
Bio: Cordelia is the product of a one night stand, her mother Victoria Somerset had gone to France to study art for a year, when she’d met a charming young man by the name of Jean-Paul LeRoy at a college party of all places.
Her mother was at first horrified by her pregnancy, and thought about terminating it; however, on a trip home she confided in a long time friend who convinced her to the child growing with in. Victoria also confessed that it had been a slightly drunk decision that had caused her to fall into bed with Jean-Paul.
After Cordelia’s 5th birthday her mother starts to notice that small things are turning up missing, that’s when she spots Knick, a Wyvern, who’s attached himself to the girl. Her mother takes it as a sign that her child did indeed inherit some of the family’s bloodline.
By age 10 Cordelia’s left orphaned when her mother and her ‘auntie’ were killed in an automobile accident. It isn’t until she is going through some of her mother’s things that she finds an address. With Child Protective Services bearing down on her she figures that it might be worth a shot. As she’s trying to avoid the social worker sent to place her into a ‘good’ family she activates not only her fey based magicks but also her mutant power. It is during this incident that she first sees Knick, who’s attacking the social worker.
She makes her way to Orleans, where the address is based, to find Jean-Paul. Her father has since married and is living in the house with his bride of two years and their infant son. To say that the two adults are surprised by her arrival is an understatement; but Jean-Paul can’t claim that she isn’t his child; she looks too much like his own mother. Her stepmother, Ann-Marie, resents her very existence; when Cordelia asks why Ann-Marie hates her so much the response she gets is ‘because you remind him of her.’
Confused by this statement she in turn questions her father, not only is he having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that he fathered a child at 19, but that he was kept from her life for so long. His response to his daughter’s question both puzzles and pleases the young woman, ‘Your mother was a brief shining moment; and like the sun chases the moon, I have sought her.’
As Cordelia grew from a coltish child into a beautiful young woman her father felt compelled to introduce her to the Thieves’ Guild (the much older sister to the one found in New Orleans), he also begins to teach her the tricks of the trade. She starts out as all young apprentices as a pickpocket; she slowly rises in the ranks of the guild to that of a master jewel thief. Cordelia has no problems admitting that she uses her fey magicks to help her in committing these felonies. Knick also helps with the heist; he is the one that actually takes the target item. Her cover job is that of a street performer.
Her activities as a thief have brought her into direct contact with various law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and the US Marshals. What files they do have on her are sealed because she was a juvenile when most of the crimes were committed and there was no conclusive evidence to be found at any of the scenes to tie her to them.
Now as an adult Cordelia has had a ‘change of heart’ and is trying to go straight; but on her 22nd birthday she is drawn back into the guilds when she’s asked to do a job for them. Cordelia agrees, but has the misfortune of seeing something she shouldn’t have.
Unable to go to the police with her information, Cordelia has no choice to flee France. She knows only on person who can help protect her, and the sad fact of the matter is she’s never met him before.

Flight~ this is courtesy of his wings.
Bio: Knick is a Wyvern, or what some people would like to call a dragonet. He has never really had a human counterpart in his life, but for some reason he followed a 5yr old Cordelia home and protected her from the neighborhood kids.
As the girl grew older he let her see him for the first time, and since that time has remained a constant companion, and acting as her familiar and partner in crime, though he doesn’t understand why she keeps giving away his jewels.
Like his larger brethren Knick has a penchant for sparkly and shiny things. Not only does he horde them, but he likes to eat them.
