When Psylocke (Elisabeth Braddock) was killed by Vargas.. Saber had developed a relationship with Storm of the X-Men and married.
During that time the couple had a daughter Ashanti.. With the Phoenix Force in her DNA.. Ashanti aged faster than normal children..
She still went to Xavier's school and went on missions with the Younger X-Men team..

After Elizabeth Braddock returned from the dead her father went back to his first wife with the blessing of Storm.. Ororo and Saber's
relationship was still very close and were strong parents for Ashanti

Shay is a giant Panther from Krakoa that had bonded telepathically to Coda and
became her familiar.. Shay has a healing factor..
