Jamie walked over to the bed where Magneto was resting from his illness. Polaris who was sitting
at her fathers bedside looked at him and knew exactly what was on her mind. “Something is off
with Alex.” He said as Lorna looked relieved that he had noticed it too. “There was a look of panic
like he was freaking out but trying to stay calm. That team that Cyclops put together was kind of
odd. Since when did Firestar want to be on a mission with Emma. With everything that has happened
I think we missed something that happened right under our noses.” Madrox brought up to her.

“I know Alex well enough that your right Jamie.” Lorna responded as she stood up from her seat.
“Something shook him and Emma too. I know she was trying really hard to hide it but shook her
as well.” Polaris walked over to the bed where Cyclops had been laying. Madrox fallowed behind
her as she accessed the med computer that was connected to the bed. “It all started here.” She
said as she went over what the computer had recorded. “Oh my God!” She said as she looked over
at Jamie in shock and he had the same face. “We need Cecilia look this over and confirm this.” Tears
formed in Lorna’s eyes as she had an idea now what was going on. Madrox created a duplicate to go
get Cecilia as he gave Polaris a hug. All of this was shocking.

Cecilia walked over with Madrox and brought up the information on the screen about Cyclops.
“Oh my God!” She said as that moment confirmed what both Polaris and Jamie had seen. “According
to this Scott was infected by the terrigen mist and died!” She said as she continued reading. “Five minutes
later electrical activity resumed in his brain and the rest of his body was animated but no heart beat.” She
continued.

As Henry was sitting at his lab going over all the information of how the terrigen mutates the mutant
gene into eroding the whole genetic structure when he heard the conversation between Doctor Reyes
and the others over Cyclops.. He quickly leaned over and switch over all that information onto one of
his main computers. He read over the information and placed his hand over his mouth and closed his
eyes.. Henry took a few moments to let it sink in and sent older Jean his thoughts.. “OH my stars and
garters!” He spouted out loud as he did not have the time to deal with this sudden revelation… “Emma
reanimated Scott’s body!” He announced as he turned to Madrox and Polaris.. “She was most likely in
his head when he past and she reached a mental breaking point!” He continued..

“Cecilia!.. “Rysta is in labor!” Citian shouted once they ported into the med station.. Cecilia and
two Madrox dupes both escorted them to one of the beds.. Both Madrox dupes quickly began
prepping the area for child birth.. “Our first child being born in Limbo seems appropriate for some
strange reason.” He chuckled as he held onto her hand..

Citian and Rysta were not the only ones that body slid to the med station.. As soon as Hope
saw what was going on she instantly did the same seconds after they left.. When Hope ported
to the med station she headed to the closes rack and took her web gear off and hung it up in a
place where she could get to it easily.. “So I am about to become an Aunty!” Hope said proudly
as she beat one of the dupes to the sink to scrub up.. Then she and everyone received the message
about Cyclops and Emma.. Hope was in shock but it was her brother Citian she was worried about..
He was very close to their grandfather.. She looked over and saw that he was buckled over trying to
pull himself together.. “Scott would want us to focus on your first child being born!” Hope said out loud
to him as she hurried to her brother..

Jean made her way over to Citian and gave her grandson a big hug.. Both feeling the sad news
and sharing the excitement of his first child and her grandchild being born… Jean then reached
out and took a hold of Rysta’s hand.. “I wish I could stay here and just focus on this beautiful
event but I have a war and rescue operations to amount!” She smiled as Rysta nodded that she
understood.. “My heart is with you and I will just be across the room.” Jean said as the Med station
and the war room was opened up into one big station.. As Jean begin operations she would also be
witness to the birth at the same time.. It was a strange situation but that was the way it was for
the X-Men..

“I was thinking that I would pull a team of younger X-Men and concentrate on the rescue mission!
I am sure we can get as many mutants and their families here safe in a good amount of time!” Kitty
said as Jean nodded her approval.. Kitty then walked over to one of the computer and brought up a
list of Junior X-Men to go over.. Minutes later is when Kitty got the news about Cyclops..

“I am glad that you finally asked..” Storm said to Ghost as they walked together to the war and
med room.. “Yes I would like that.” She answered him.. Genn smiled back at her..
Ororo hit her com once she entered the war and med room.. “Wolverine!.. Cable.. Namor.. Nightcrawler
and Dragonfly I need you to report to the war room as our war council!” She said as Jean entered her head
with the news of Cyclops.. “By the Goddess!” Storm took a seat next to Jean as she also had to sit down..
Ororo wrapped her arms around her best friend.. “I am so sorry.” Storm said in a caring voice as Jean laid
her head onto Storm’s shoulder..

Wolverine entered the room in the same somber mood as everyone else.. “So Emma has went
nuts and had reanimated Cyclops body and left on an attack mission on Black Bolt at his night
club in the city!” Spouted Logan as he shook his head.. He brought up a live satellite feed of what
was going at the night club called the Quite Room.. They saw Cyclops blasting the door and leading
the team inside.. “This is going to end well!” Logan said as he folded his arms and shook his head..
“What is she up too?”

“Miss Frost is capable of anything and has resources that we do not know about by design!”
Namor said in response to Wolverine.. “If she was in his mind when he passed away.. I can
not imagine the psyche damage she is faced with.. But knowing Emma and how she thinks I
have an idea what she is doing..” As Namor took a pause Both Storm and Jean looked up and
over to him.. “She does not want Cyclops to remembered dyeing in bed… She wants him remembered
as the hero and warrior that he is and she would want him to go out fighting a King!” Namor
explained..

“I agree with Namor!.. This is the type of crazy thing that would matter to Emma about Scott!”
Kurt spoke up.. his voice cracked with emotion as he was feeling the pain of knowing Cyclops had
died.. “I am afraid that Emma’s state of mind is going to be a hinder to all of us in this war.. There
is no way that Xorn and Firestar joined Emma Frost on this mission.. I am sure they are both under
her control and I am willing to bet Havok is as well!” Nightcrawler declared..

Saber and Psylocke arrived together.. Saber instantly went to his mother Jean and
embraced her.. “I don’t understand why I did not feel his passing.” He said to her
as he fought back his tears.. Saber was very close with his Cyclops his father..
But he was convinced that the Shadow King was messing with their mental powers..
He looked over at his sister Rachel still unconscious.. “Elisabeth and I are
planning on going into the astral plane and get Rachel and free the Professor.”
He told her as Psylocke and him were preparing their minds for the battle that
was ahead..

The mother to be winced as a wavy of pain and strangely distress washed through her. Slowly she reached her mind out to the babe she was carrying and blinked in surprise. "He's active, his powers are already strong." Rysta said as she looked over at Citian. She placed their joined hands on her distended abdomen and watched as her lover reached out with his mind to brush that of their child's. |
