Mutant Powers: Liam can reach into the imaginary world of books and pull out things. Weapons, objects, plants... he doesn't know the extent of the power yet, and hadn’t used it in years before coming to the school.
Bio: Liam is the third son of a recently divorced couple, and not the only mutant born into the family. His older sister Andromeda also manifested powers, although a lot more recently. The home he grew up in was not exactly a happy one. He didn't remember a time when his parents weren't fighting over one thing or another, and although he was sure they didn't know he figured it out, he knew a lot of it was over him. Apparently his father thought his mother must have had an affair. He didn't know whether that was true or not, but he knew that once his sister manifested her power, it was apparently the last straw for the couple, and a messy break up soon followed. Liam got through the mess of his life by throwing himself into his reading. He loved books from the time he was young, his imagination allowing him to escape the painful reality of the fact it was obvious his parents no longer loved each other. That was how he discovered his power- completely by accident. Problem was, he didn't know what to do with it, or what he could do with it. It frightened him, so he tried to keep it to himself. After his parents divorce, he moved in with a friend, not really keeping touch with anyone in his family except for his sister, who he was visiting the day he was kidnapped by Romulus's underlings. He was rescued by the xmen among a large group and remained at the school to learn about his ability in a place where he wouldn’t be seen as odd.
