Scarlett looked at Hope and started to mutter curse words under her breath.
"Unc, could you get Uncle Elfie through the portal? Jessie, this is Saeldur. He is Uncle Cademon's bestie..."
"We should all go," Ewan said as he lifted the elf and carried him through the portal with Jessie at his side. "Hope, Scarlett, that includes you both."
"Go!" Piper shouted as she and her sister Sydney rejoined Dante. "We will make sure your Mom doesn't do anything too crazy!"
"Fine!" Scarlett shouted as another group of X-Men went through the portal.

"Bollocks!" John shouted as the ceiling started to cave in faster. "Piper, ain't taking no for an answer!" he yelled as he grabbed the eldest MacLeod sister and shoved her through the portal. "Shona and Brodie need their mum."
John remembered all too well the day that Sarah and George MacLeod were murdered by the very people they had always tried to help, and he was not about to let the next generation experience it.
"Damned vamp must have gone invisible," he muttered as he uttered a spell to keep those around Kari from getting crushed by the falling debris. "I have no clue what you plan to do, but make it fast. Somebody is coming back through that portal, and we really need to get the hell out now."
{{Before that vamp does something we all will regret}} John thought as he looked at Sydney and Dante.

"Scott had the portal closed!" Kari said to John, Dante and Sydney. "And yes, I have a plan."
"You better make it snappy!" Sydney shouted as she helped John keep the roof from falling on all of them. "Drama Queen!"
"Oi, now you call her names?" John muttered as he watched the debris stop in mid-air. "And this is..."
"A gift from my husband," Kari replied as she used her Askani Force wings to pull the remaining X-Men closer to her. She touched the gauntlet on her arm and smiled. "Body slide by four," she said as the group flickered out and the building exploded behind them. As the last explosion rocked the area, the desert seemed to implode and suck everything into an abyss where the base had been. Only sand and rock remained...
