(Inside the Orchis Base) “I might have not trained in the danger room but karate classes and gymnastics after school when I was younger sure paid off!” Carmen
responded to Wolverine as she tossed a bunch of charged cards at the Prime Sentinels as she went into a roll and kicked the feet out from
under an Orchis soldier and punched him in the side of his temple knocking him out. Gimmick continued to fight by Wolverine and Cair’s side. (Inside the Orchis base) “You can fight.. That is for sure Kid!” Logan responded to Gimmick as Logan plunged his claws
into the head of a Prime Sentinel as Cair’s tentacles ripped through the body. The situation quickly
changed as a Clan Akkaba sorceress appeared out of nowhere.. The situation distracted him enough
to get blasted in the chest by a Prime Sentinel.. Everything went black as he felt chest and heart explode.. Cair's heart stopped as she saw Logan slump to the floor, his chest and heart exploding before her eyes.
She knew he'd recover. He always recovered. Right?
Then she remembered the time he had died when she was not there. When his body was encased in an adamantium cocoon, or that is what she had thought anyway. When he came back and she wasn't there.
Would he come back, or had these Orchis bastards cooked up a way to absolutely and finally take him from her now?
"He will be fine," she whispered to Carmen as they stood at each other's sides. "He has to be fine."
By now the Witchblade was in what could only be called its own "berserker rage" as the tendrils shot out of the back of Cair's armor and formed what could only be called demonic wings that sliced into Prime Sentinels and Orchis troopers alike. Tendrils ripped off heads or snaked their way into chest cavities, making the troopers feel the pain Logan felt as he fell.
"No more bullshit. No more!" Cair screamed as pictures of Logan and his entire family flashed in her mind. His friends. His life.
Fire slowly moved down the wings and tendrils as more Orchis troops and Prime Sentinels felt their reach. "I will burn you f_cks to the ground for all of this!"
A small portion of the Witchblade shielded Logan, Cair, Carmen and anyone else around them as the fire and tendrils did their work. "They don't deserve mercy."

{{I'm fine, and that b!tch is no friend of mine!}} Kari said telepathically to Hope and Rain as Drolta entered the scene. Kari was glad Hope had gotten to safety, because her other daughter in the base was moving toward the front of the action now.
"Celtic Magic sure as hell doesn't like the smell of you!" Scarlett shouted as she stood and looked at the Akkaba-associated mage and growled at her, the Askani Force armor her Mamo Siofra had tweaked for her forming as she stood her ground.
"Shite," Kari muttered as she looked at Drolta. "Vampire and mage. Lovely combo. Not what we heard about in the bloody playbook!" Kari was just thrilled that Alucard was not popping up under the control of Orchis at the moment, and she silently prayed that would not happen today or any other day. {{Brother, Jessie, we have a wildcard in play. Be careful}} Kari said telepathically to Ewan and his new bride. Kari could also see the new combatant looking for openings in the battle line. {{Rock Star, remember those lovely days in Paris? When we brought the house down?}}
Constantine grinned as fiery sigils erupted from his hands and parts of the floor started to jut up around Drolta. Kari was keeping the vampiric mage's gunfire away from the team as John tried to weave in a spell to block her magic. {{Ain't working too hot, petal}} he said in their link as Kari formed a "magic box" around his work.
{{Hope, Scarlett, your Dad is OK, and he is giving me strength}} Kari said as the ground shook where John was still weaving his spell. {{Work together to help Cyclops, and we'll try to keep this one busy}}
{{And we are not letting those things you summoned in here}} John protested. {{Too risky}}
"Sydney, Piper, Dante! We could use your help!" Kari shouted as she prepared for Drolta to undo John's spell. The amulet around the mage's neck was likely there to allow her to walk in the light. Kari had seen many of them over the years, and she knew it was not the source of the magic being used against them now. That was another problem entirely.

(Outside the Orchis base) Havok stood beside his daughter Magnetrix and blasted the closest sentinels that were near them while she had a magnetic energy
field around them. The field protected them from an energy blast from a sentinel. Suddenly dark clouds rushed in bringing lightning
strikes to the sentinels around them. “That must be Major X using his mothers playbook!” Alex said to his daughter as he continued
blasting the big sentinels.
She then levitated two of the arms of on of the destroyed sentinels charging the blasters in their hands and using them to blast the other sentinels surrounding them. |

Scarlett looked at Hope as Constantine kept making his big old tower around Drolta. "Sis, what's the play?" Scarlett asked Hope as everyone started to hear more screaming and wailing from down the corridor. "Whatever Mom brought here seems to be getting pissed, and that can't be good."
What Rock Star Johnny had likely feared seemed to be happening. The beasts summoned to take out the trash were starting to go into a frenzy.
"If creepy magic lady gets loose, Mom's spell might be toast, and those things will get us," Scarlett said as she moved closer to her sister. "Borrow the bird, and I'll use the magic stardust Grams gave me in this armor. We send those things, whatever they are, back to their home dimension."
A small bird that was Scarlett's portion of the Askani Force hovered near Hope as Scarlett started to use her armor to form a portal back to wherever these things came from. "Oh crap!" Scarlett yelled as a demon slammed into a glass wall for everyone to see. "Mom? Where do they go?"
"Back to a stronghold in the Arda!" Kari screamed as she felt the box around Drolta starting to break.
"Sis, let's do this! That bird is as much magic as it is cosmic light show!" Scarlett said as she broke into a run toward where the demon was trying to break through the glass. "Back home you go!" she shouted as runes started to fly from her hands.

The couple soon flanked Kari as everyone dealt with the multiple threats of Orchis and their newest mage. "You got those from the Arda? Oh Goddess. Merlin imprisoned those things there, and Saeldur and Caedmon offered them freedom ages ago when Merlin lost the plot. I remember now. This clears the debt."
Ewan looked at Jessie and shook his head. "I'll fill you in on all that drama once we make it out of this one," he said as he glance back toward Wolverine and Andraste and their young friend. "I pray he does not stay dead. Cair will not be the only one in a holy war if he does not come back to us."

Firechild continued to engage the prime sentinels near her doing her best to balance force with grace to protect her team mates. A prime sentinel hit her with a blast of fire which made her scream out before the flames were absorbed into her "Fire? I was born of this!" She responded grabbing on to the sentinel with a fiery talon and slamming it into the ground.

(INSIDE THE ORCHIS BASE)
Sage leaped out of Manifold’s portal and started to run towards Cyclops while shooting at the Prime Sentinels that made it into the room.
“All the prisoners from the last cell have been safely delivered to Genosha!” Sage reported to Cyclops as every shot from her guns hit a
Prime Sentinel in the head. The Prime Sentinels that broke free and came right at both Cyclops and Sage were cut in half by Ein Hayabusa
who was still cloaked as they fought. “Where is Eden?” She said to herself as she looked around the room and saw that Manifold was surrounded.
Sage began to focus her attack in his direction and waited for the right moment to break off and get to him.
