“Excellent!. I want both Sunkiller and COD-Alpha brought to my laboratory as soon as they reach
the station and I want all records of COD-Alpha erased from the whole system once the stasis
chamber is in my Lab!” Doctor Stasis said to Jones as he kept walking with her following at his side
until he entered his private laboratory and office..
The Doctor walked over and stepped on the holographic disc that projected himself down to the Orchis
Yuma base.. Directly into Sunkiller’s containment cell..
Inside of the hybrid mutant vampire Sunkiller containment cell a holographic image of Doctor Stasis
appeared in the center of the cell looking down at Sunkiller who was slowly waking up from a sonic blast..
She was ambushed from an elite Orchis commando unit and brought to the base..
“I can not tell you how much of a pleasure it is to meet you.. I have been looking for a mutant vampire hybrid
that is a daywalker for a long time.. There were a few among the X-Men that I had an eye on but none of them
is as viable as you! Your mutant genome to be immune to radiation and all spectrums of light makes you the best
subject.. I also went over your history with Deadpool and Blade and was very impressed by you Miss Bethany!”

“You are a firecracker and have a lot of spirit! In the morning this chamber is going to be filled
with a sonic bath that would put you back into an unconscious state.. From there you will be
placed into a COD stasis chamber and taken to a space station where my laboratory is.. I will
then take samples and study your DNA before cloning versions of you and weaponize you for
Orchid to use in their war against mutants..” Doctor Stasis explained in a calm tone..

with a sonic bath that would put you back into an unconscious state.. From there you will be

As Quentin drifted into sleep he felt the presence of the Phoenix inside of his mind. It had been a while since he had felt that force inside
of his head. All of the sudden his astral form was floating above the Orchis base in Yuma Arizona. The Phoenix turned into a smaller Phoenix
bird perched on his shoulder and guided him inside of the base. He was not in control of this process and then found himself in the containment
chamber with a mysterious woman and man. Quentin understood instantly that the woman was a prisoner of the man with the helmet. The woman
looked over at him and was surprised to see him. He was equally surprised that she could see him. He quickly put his finger over his lips to signal to
stay silent and not give away that he was in the room. {He does not know that I am here.} He said telepathically to her. {We can talk through our minds.
This dude can not hear us. Who is this bucket head anyway? I am Quentin of the X-Men and X-Force. I am a mutant soldier for justice.} He said as he
made a face as his words were way cornier than he thought.

in my astral form.} Quentin explained as he looked over at Doctor Stasis. {Doctor Bucket head is giving off creepy vibes. I just need you Beth to
hang in there. We will be here soon and I will makes sure you are rescued.} |

{Just hang in there as much as you can Bethany. We will save you from Orchis and all the other prisoners very soon!} Quentin said before
floating up out of the cell and above the base. Quentin took a moment and collected the thoughts of sleeping soldiers and other operatives
in the base to learn the layout as best as he could before fading back to his sleeping body. His subconscious mind then passed the information
about the base and Sunkiller into everyone's mind that was opened to the information as they slept.

All Carmen could think about was how freaked out her family must be. They probably think she was one of the mutants that mysteriously
disappeared around the world. She only found out a few days ago that she was a real mutant. Even though her powers had not activated
yet. Both Storm and Emma Frost came to her home because she had shown up on Cerebro that she had a mutant gene. This was not the
first time she had met Storm or the X-Men. All her best friends had found a crashed alien ship and took the technology from the ship.
Carmen and her friends were cosplayers of the X-Men. They were huge fans of the X-Men and wanted to be mutants so bad. They even
convinced themselves they were mutants. They took the technology and created uniforms and identities inspired by their X-Men heroes.
She called herself Gimmick and her uniform and powers were inspired by Gambit of the X-Men. Carmen made all the uniforms and figured
out the alien technology to create their powers and built it into the uniforms. Her technology mimicked Gambit’s power of molecular acceleration
and she had a piece of Magneto’s helmet that she had bought online and placed it into her head gear to block telepathy. Carmen and her friends
called themselves Children of the Atom, another name that mutants were called as an inspiration. They went out and battled superhuman criminals.
That is when they met Storm and the X-Men for the first time. Back in their neighborhood they saw one of the mysterious Krakoan gates go up. A
few mutants in their town packed their bags and went through the gate. So her and her friends tried everyday to go through the gates but they never
could go through. It was not that long ago that Storm and Emma came to her home to reveal that she was a mutant even though her mutant gene did
not activate yet. She still was working up to telling her friends but she had not found the right time. It was also a few days ago her team was attacked
and she was brought here and put into a cell. Orchis thought the mutant inhibitors in the cell took her powers away not knowing that it was built into
her uniform.
The left side of her face was swollen from the beat down she reviewed from the Orchis troops that took her and her team down. She hoped they were
okay and it was only her they dragged away. Carmen was determined to escape her cell and find the way back home. The rods that lined the fingers of
her gloves charged the bolts from an air vent inside the cell causing mini explosions. She climbed through the vents which were a tight fit until she heard
talking. Gimmick stopped and looked out the vent and saw Sunkiller and Doctor Stasis and listened to the conversation. When Stasis left she exploded the
screws from the vent and rolled out before Sunkiller.
“Hello!” Carmen said with a smile. “My name is Gimmick and I am also a prisoner at this place which I have no idea where it is! I am trying to escape and
I just stumbled upon your cell and heard a little bit of that mad doctor said. I saw stuff like this in movies, not in real life!” Carmen said to Sunkiller.
